~Sonic's Flashback Memory~

I ran through the forest, panting heavily, before I came to a stop in front of a cave.

I frantically looked both ways before running in the cave and going into hiding.

"Where could he be?" I heard someone say.

"I dunno. Let's hurry and get out of the rainy weather. We can look for the werehog tomorrow..." Another one speak up.

Then I heard footsteps receding.

Once I was sure that they were completely gone, I peeked out of the cave to check my surroundings.

No sign of them anywhere.

That means I'm safe.

I sighed in relief before going back in the cave.

Seeing that the rain won't be stopping anytime soon tonight, I decided to stay in the cave until the next day.

Feeling a little curious, I decided to explore around.

I wasn't seeing anything for a while until I saw a bunch of beautiful firey red crystals on the ground from my left.

I looked at them in amazement as I kept walking and saw more in different colors.

Orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple and so many more colors I didn't mention.

The coolest part is that these crystals look almost exactly like they were glowing.

Almost like as if they were lighting up my path.

I wonder if someone else discovered this cave way before I did.

If they did, I wonder if they gave the cave a nickname.

Like "Rainbow Crystal Cave" or something like that.

I smiled to myself at that nickname.

That actually would be the perfect nickname for a cave like this.

Eventually, I was so lost in thought and from the beauty of these rainbow crystals that I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and bumped into something.

I pushed myself off of what I bumped into and rubbed my nose a little, massaging the pain away.

I looked up to see what I bumped into and saw a really big crystal in front of me.

"Woah! That crystal's huge!" I thought to myself as I stared at it in amazement.

As I rested my hand on the smooth surface of the big crystal, I accidentally cut my hand.

"Ouch! That hurt!" I said to myself as I took my hand away from the crystal, seeing that I was bleeding.

At that moment, I failed to notice that some of my blood was on the crystal and that the crystal absorbed my blood, just out of nowhere, as soon as I wasn't looking.

I noticed some sort of engraving appeared on the crystal.

"Choose a name, gender, species, and a number..." The engraving read.

I wasn't sure what to say or do, so I fogged up one part of the crystal into a small circle and wrote:

"Sirius, boy, werehog, 5..."

After I wrote that down, the words instantly vanished.

The cave instantly started rumbling and shaking before rainbow colored crystals appeared in front of me.

Then another engraving appeared on the large crystal.

"Choose 5 colors..."

I looked at the crystals in front of the huge one and picked midnight blue, gold, white, black, and the slightly bright earthy green color.

As soon as I picked those colors, nothing happened.

Then I looked at my other hand and took the white crystal before I cut myself with it, by my own will.

I gritted my teeth in pain before I letted the blood drop on the colors I picked out.

Shortly after doing that, I picked the midnight blue crystal up and had it touch the larger crystal.

The large crystal immediately absorbed my blood from the midnight blue crystal I was holding before an engraving appeared that had the color's name on the large crystal.

I quickly figured it out and picked up the four remaining colored crystals I chose before doing the same thing like I did to the midnight colored one.

Shortly after the large crystal got the names of the four remaining colors I chose, it suddenly glowed brightly.

Before I knew it, I was suddenly struck in the heart after a crystal suddenly shot out from the ground, just right out of nowhere.

I letted out a pained gasp before quickly grabbing the crystal and pulling it out from my chest slowly.

Once I fully had the crystal out, I collapsed on my knees before coughing up blood.

As I looked at the large crystal, I coulda sworn that I saw someone walk out from inside the large crystal, before I passed out from blood loss.
