She's gone

In case you couldn't tell, I'm not Rebekah. Or Fox or Warrior or whatever you call her. I'm her younger brother. My sister was found this morning sprawled out on her bed hands against neck and tablet next to her face. When the tablet was turned on and unlocked it showed a half written message to PearlyCat_Sketches. Since I can't for the life of me take a screenshot it pretty much said, "Okay I legit can't breathe now, I can't move and my dog is beginning to whine. What"

It stopped there. I can only assume that she was gonna say "What do I do?" But was cut off. Here's the full story since I feel obligated to fill you in.

My mom woke up to the sound of the dog whining at midnight and decided to go back to bed. He continued whining and it gradually got louder, waking us all up at 4:00 in the morning. He began barking once my mom was awake and she went to shut him up. We heard her scream and came to see what was going on. Rebekah was on the bed, pale faced, vomit trickling out of her mouth, hands at her neck, and tablet by her face. Her eyes were bulging and were tinted pink, her hands cold but her face was on fire. My mom took her to the hospital immediately.

I'm a non-stop worry wart if you didn't know and I began panicking. What if she doesn't come back? What if she dies? What if she loses her memory? My mom eventually came back at 6:30 to take us to the hospital. I brought her tablet just in case. We left the dog outside, whining and crying. When we arrived at the hospital they had her on life support. Barely even living. I don't know what the doctor's had said to mom but Rebekah looked like she was miserable. Cassie began talking to her about happy times but Rebekah wouldn't smile. She looked very distant and she kept staring at me. When Cassie was done she had a shuddering breath, which made me cringe, and said very slowly, "love... you..." It didn't even sound like her. I wanted to cry but I was the next in line to be oldest so I held strong for my siblings. Nathan came up and hugged her, making her gasp and gag. He quickly stopped, apologized and ran outside to wait with my mom. Since I didn't know what to say or do I placed her tablet on her lap. She said one word. "Garage." In my simple mind it didn't make sense but I took the tablet and did the garage code and it unlocked. Revealing the message mentioned before. She tapped the tablet screen and said, "Sorry" and then tapped me and said "Dog".

I now realize that she meant to apologize to you guys and to have me take care of the dog. Instead I thought she wanted me to apologize to the dog and decided to cheer her up by reading some books from her library. I eventually had to leave and we went home, leaving Rebekah alone. That was probably the most stupidest move we could've made. You don't leave someone on life support alone. At least not when they have anxiety, depression, or a fear of loneliness. Rebekah had all three. She somehow managed to pull her own plug causing her to die in the time it took us to get there. How the doctor's didn't notice she was unplugged until after they used a defibrillator is beyond me but my dad had come home during the time and he wasn't able to say his goodbyes. That's when I overheard mom with snippets of the story. Apparently she had drunken bleach and because of how long it was in her system she should've been dead but she was still there. So they put her on life support and told my mom that it was too late to drain her and we should've called poison control as soon as we noticed. Apparently her fever had risen to a deadly point which had caused her throat to swell in a panic to not through up anymore. We didn't know why she had drunken bleach, well I knew when I finally read the last chapter. My mom had a panic when we got home and she beat the dog, saying it was his fault she was gone. My dad tried to calm her down and I was left with her tablet. Reading the messages she had, the missing memories in drafts of chapters. And it suddenly dawned on me. She's gone.

My sister isn't that stupid though. She wouldn't just drink bleach for a dare. Especially not fast acting bleach. Then again that was the only bleach we had on the shelf. I only have an assumption that someone on her told her to do it after making her feel miserable. She then deleted the messages and proceeded to drink bleach. I remember asking if I could sleep in her room for the night because we talk to each other about things like school and our troubles. I feel like if she let me in her room she wouldn't have died. She'd still be here. Crap. Now I'm crying I lost my grandpa and now my sister. The last thing she said to me while not being sick was "Goodnight, I love you." And I all I said, in a joking tone, "Oh shut up and go to sleep." I wanted you guys to know so you wouldn't be in a panic if she never updated. Not to mention her real life friends are going to be told later. My cousins birthday is today and she lost her oldest cousin. Well of the female gender anyway. I don't even know if we're going. Or if we're gonna tell them. I don't know anymore. I'm just gonna tag the people she tagged in the last chapter.
