Wei was working, taking notes of what they had ample supplies of and what was missing, when he saw Qiqi walking towards him. She looked nervous and he wondered if something had happened.

Her face was tense and her eyes kept shifting from one side to the other as if she was afraid of looking directly at him.

She only ever went to the store when Wei asked her to, in order to make his plan work. This was the first time she came looking for him of her own will.

She had tried asking someone where she could find him, but ended up searching the whole place for him. It was a big store.

Finally, she found him. He looked surprised but not alarmed.
"What are you doing here Qiqi? Is everything ok?"

"Everything's ok Wei, I just... I want to ask you a big favour, and Yunlan too. Where is he?"
Qiqi looked more and more nervous by the second and Wei wondered what was going on, but of course he told her that he would gladly help her.

She didn't say anything right away. Even though she didn't know many things about them she sensed that Yunlan would be more responsive and supportive, so she asked to talk to them both and they went in search of Yunlan.

Once they found him, she finally said what was on her mind.
"I know we had... an agreement, and I respect that, but I was really hoping you could make an exception..."

Wei frowned at those words not really sure where she was going with it.
"What is it, Qiqi? I don't understand," he asked in a much more polite way than Yunlan and his "Spill it Qiqi!"

She sighed and she searched for the best way to say it, they were also at work so she had to be discreet. She tried again to explain herself.

"We made a promise and I intend to keep it but... I know you don't want anybody to know about us but you told Yunlan after all so I thought... I would really like to tell my friend about us as well... I mean everything..."

Wei paled instantly.

Yunlan smiled. Of course Wei didn't expect that but Yunlan saw it coming alright.

He looked around and seeing that there was nobody close he whispered, "She likes you too huh?"

Qiqi blushed and Wei widened his eyes.

"Yeah... I really care about her, she's the sweetest girl, I want to tell her the truth so I thought that maybe tonight you could come home and help me... both of you, I don't know how she's going to take it, she's kind of... possessive."

She was whispering too now, and Yunlan answered for both since Wei seemed unable to speak. "We'll be there to support you, don't worry."

After a sigh of relief she thanked them with a big, nervous smile then she went home leaving them behind. It was afternoon and they only had three more hours to work before going out, she had waited to tell them until she couldn't resist anymore.

Yunlan was glad that she had waited, at least Wei only had three hours to freak out and not a whole day.

Yunlan had no doubt that Wei would be freaking out at this point, but he rather agreed with her. If she wanted to start a real relationship she couldn't keep this secret anymore.

Yunlan had already discovered that the best way to calm him down when he became agitated was always to hug him or show his love with sweet words or kisses, but now they couldn't, they were at work and any kind of public display of affection was banned, so he had to find other ways to comfort him.

Wei resumed what he was doing before she arrived while Yunlan only pretended to do his job. Actually he hid himself from Wei's eyes to monitor the escalation of his anxiety and make sure he could act before it got out of hand.

Wei worked like a robot, worry and anxiety growing inside of him at the thought of what might happen...  when his phone rang and he read the message,
>Stop worrying, it'll be okay

Wei took a deep breath. Right, it will be okay, of course it will be... but what if it doesn't, what if Lisa gets angry and tells someone... what if she were to tell Mr. Chen...
Another beep, another message:
>I'll be there too, stop worrying I said

Wei looked at the message in disbelief and for a while he felt calmer, until he started worrying again, because news travel so fast and if only one of the people who knew him was to learn the truth it would be a disaster, everyone would know, his parents would know that he lied to them, he couldn't bear to think...

Beep
> You told me! She has the right to tell her special person. Now stop worrying!

Wei looked around but Yunlan was nowhere in sight. How could he know when to send those messages?

The phone still in his hand, Wei felt calmer watching Yunlan's words again and again, until one last message arrived.

>Let's make a deal...
Wei's eyes travelled through the text becoming wider after every word.

Wei hid his phone in his pocket looking wildly around as if everyone could see how flustered he was, but there was nobody, he was completely alone, the flowers aisle wasn't very popular those days.

Reassured that nobody could see his face he took his phone out of his pocket and read the whole message again.

Yunlan was hidden in the soap aisle but couldn't resist watching his reaction after he read the last message.

He watched as Wei read it for the second time.

Wei was blushing furiously now but his eyes didn't leave the screen. Yunlan saw him open his mouth and bit his bottom lip.

Yunlan grinned. Interested, I see, he thought, feeling excited already.

Wei would hopefully have something else on his mind now.
