Max and Duke were currently following Snowball and the other stray animals in the sewers.

"I'm not sure how anyone can live in such a disgusting place-" Max muttered. Seeing Snowball glaring at him, he quickly added, "Disgustingly good place! It's so lovely!" Duke smiled nervously, though he was mentally puking in his mind when he saw a rotting rat corpse.

At last, they arrived at the end of the tunnel. The bars that seemed to make it a dead end suddenly moved as eight snakes lifted their heads. Max and Duke froze in terror while Snowball approached them.

"What's the password?" the snakes hissed.

"Excuse me, what did you ask me? How many times do I have to tell you idiots that you never ask the leader for the password?!" Snowball shouted at the snakes, grabbing one by the tongue and slamming its head on the ground. Foot thumping angrily, he continued, "Now I have to make a new password. And that's gonna be... NEVER ASK THE LEADER FOR THE PASSWORD EVER AGAIN!"

The snakes' eyes flashed green and they moved out of the way. "Let's go," Snowball called, calmed down now.
