"...you shall now receive the bite from the one fanged, half blind Viper as proof of your allegiance with me and the Flushed Pets!" Snowball's voice was almost drowned out by all the animals cheering, "Snake bite!" Max and Duke glanced at each other in dead silence. When they heard a loud hiss coming from the pipe before them, their blood ran cold.

Then out crept the Viper.

Max and Duke had to crane their heads back just to see the snake's head as the Viper rose above all. Tongue flickering in and out occasionally, the giant reptile stooped down until it was eye level with the two dogs. Then it opened its mouth, revealing no teeth.

"I thought you said he was one fanged," Max murmured to Snowball, who was standing in between them and the snake. Suddenly, a single fang dropped down from the roof of the Viper's mouth. Max and Duke stared at the tooth in horror.

A big smile was on Snowball's face as he asked, "Who wants to go first?" Max and Duke turned to look at him. "You're nuts!" Max exclaimed. Laughing, Snowball seemed pleased to hear that. Then he hopped towards the terrier as he declared, "You know, between you and the fat dog, I like you the best Tiny Dog."

"Thank you," Max replied.

"Tiny Dog's going first!" Snowball cried, hopping back. Before Max could say anything, a group of animals came forward and grabbed him. Slowly, they carried him over to the Viper, who was getting ready to bite him. A rat hopped up on Max and drew a black X with a marker on his butt, precisely where the snake would bite him. Duke could only watch in dead silence as his brother was about to have the Viper's venom injected into him.

Just then, someone shouted, "STOP!"
