Stepping through the mist, Gidget and the others found themselves in a cavernous room. A look of awe and fright passed over Buddy's face as he murmured, "I don't like this place, I got a bad feeling." Sweetpea chirped in agreement.

"That's weird, where is everyone?" Pops mumbled, noting how quiet and empty the place looked. "Maybe they had a vet appointment?" Mel suggested, trying to sound reasonable. He swiftly covered his head before someone could whack him. Rolling her green eyes, Chloe punched him under the jaw without warning.

"Keep your eyes open everyone," Gidget whispered as she trotted off, Norman on her tail. Mel and Buddy advanced forward while Sweetpea flew above their heads. Chloe reluctantly stayed close to Pops' side as they searched the place. Ozone soon found himself alone by the entrance. Heart pounding, his eyes swept over the pets that he had been traveling with for the better part of the day. "What have I done?" he mumbled under his breath, worry surprisingly building up inside him. The hairless cat backed up in terror, only to bump into something. The poor creature almost jumped out of his skin as he whirled around.

"I should have not eaten that drowned rat..." Tiberius groaned. Seeing the horrified expression on Ozone's face, he asked, "What's wrong with you?" Lip trembling as his entire hairless body shook, Ozone murmured sadly, "I'm so sorry..." He was quickly grabbed by the throat as Tiberius demanded, "What did you do?"
