"SCATTER!" Chloe yowled at the top of her lungs. She whirled around, only to begin tumbling down a slight incline. None of the search party needed to be told twice as they ran for their lives from the horde of feral animals who were after them. Mel and Norman headed up while Sweetpea and Tiberius took to the air. Buddy and Pops raced off, going as fast as they could.

Frightened, Gidget sprinted after them. Tattoo the pig was hot on her tail. He was so close to catching her when something sharp grabbed the white Pomeranian, taking her into the air. Growling, she bit down on a foot. "Gidget, it's me!" Tiberius yelped in pain. Flattening her ears in shame, Gidget mumbled, "Sorry- SNAKE!" The Pomeranian luckily warned the hawk just in time as a snake tried to snap at them.

Seeing a pipe up ahead, Norman squeezed himself inside and called out, "I'll see you guys later!"

"This is not good!" Pops howled as he found himself rolling down some planks of wood on his wheels. Mel and Buddy quickly jumped on, catching a ride. Noticing that they were veering too close to the water, Sweetpea grabbed Mel's collar and tried to pull them away. Running up alongside the boys, Chloe bunched her muscles together and joined them. "We're gonna die!" Buddy cried. "I can't see!" Pops barked, Chloe's tail covering his eyes. Just then, the small group crashed into a wall.

"Guys, this way!" a voice called to them. Jumping to his feet, Mel saw that it was Ozone. The hairless cat was beside a chute of some sort. Taking one look at the animals who were chasing them, the pug raced over with Buddy at his side. Pops was close behind. All three helped the old dog in before letting Chloe go after him. Mel and Buddy went next just as Tiberius and Gidget dove in behind them. Holding the door open, Ozone saw that Sweetpea was on his way over with a giant crocodile on his tail. Fortunately, the parakeet got there in time, allowing Ozone to shut the door.

The search party were now screaming as they slid down the chute in the dark...
