As she walked away from the group, Gidget heard footsteps behind her. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw that it was Tiberius. "Go home," she mumbled, looking down at her paws as she continued walking away. She then bumped into something. Lifting her gaze up, the Pomeranian saw that the old hawk had gotten in front of her path. Sitting down, she grumbled, "I told you-"

"I know what you said," Tiberius interrupted Gidget, "But I'm not going home. I may have only known you for less than twenty four hours but I can see that you are loyal to the core. And a loyal person never EVER gives up on hope, no matter the cost." Listening to the hawk, Gidget was confused by what she was hearing. "Your point?" she asked.

"If you're gonna find this Max, you're gonna need some help. And I will gladly follow you to the ends of the earth to find him," Tiberius answered, bowing his head to Gidget. Astonished, she smiled and murmured, "Thank you."

"I'm coming too!" a voice called behind Gidget. Turning around, she saw Ozone. Scuffing his paw, he continued, "I kinda owe you after betraying you all." He smiled nervously, his tail twitching a little in embarrassment.

Her gaze looking at the two animals who had pledged their allegiance to her, Gidget could feel her spirits being lifted as she spoke gratefully, "Thank you, both of you." The pair merely nodded their heads. Tail wagging, the Pomeranian added, "But if we're gonna find our friends, we're gonna need more than three animals." She raced back the way they came towards the others.
