Zuko: But for a kid who witnessed the destruction of her people, Esdeath surprisingly showed no signs of sadness, even deeming them as weak. Wow. She kinda reminds me of my sister.

Tatsumi: However, motivated at the death of her father, Esdeath vowed to become stronger, even joining the empire Army. She rose through the ranks rapidly and was later allowed to choose an Imperial Arm.

Emerald: She ends up selecting the Demon God's Manifestation: Demon's Extract.

Zuko: According to Minister Honest, the Demon Extract is absolutely dangerous, drinking it has drove many to madness, mad to the point of death

Emerald: But without caring about it, she took the urn it was contained in and drank from it. After a brief struggle with it, she managed to tame the power flowing through her, enabling her to become known as the strongest in the Empire.

Tatsumi: Long before acquiring her Imperial Arm, Esdeath possessed many skills from her upbringing as a hunter and later while raising up the ranks of the Imperial Army. This includes her passionate expertise in the ways of torture, being a master strategist on the battlefield, and her skills as both a hand and hand expert as a master of the long-rapier.

Zuko: From what I heard, she's really strong, wiping out many nations singlehandedly and even caused a Strong-Willed General to lose his sanity. Literally.

Esdeath: To think this is supposed to be the North's Hero? How boring.

Emerald: Damn. If that's bad, did I mentioned she was even the Bane of Night Raid's existence, even responsible for the death of many. A few involving Night Raid members.

Tatsumi: According to what's written, Demon's Extract is an Imperial Arm created from the lifeblood of a super-class Danger Beast that lived in the Northern parts of the Empire's territories. Kept in a chalice, the Demon's Extract gives the user the power to manipulate and generate ice. But those before Esdeath who drink would go insane within moments of drinking the blood. 

Emerald: Only Esdeath's sadistic will quell the voices and made the blood an extension of herself. While the Demon's Extract lacked Trump Cards, Esdeath created her own along with various attacks. Like Ice Armour or even an army of Ice Centaurs.

Zuko: Esdeath has excellent knowledge of hand to hand combat and can even pin point pressure points. She can easily run on walls and even match against Susanoo who can move just as fast as lightning.

Tatsumi: She beats me to near death and even gutted me. Man. Sometimes I really wonder why does she think I would love her for that?

Emerald: No idea. Ask Yandere. Anyways, Esdeath once covered an entire country with deadly ice and snow and it increased her powers even further. 

Zuko: Not only that, but she was able to match Akame effortlessly, and that little girl carries a sword cursed to kill with only a single cut.

Drank the entire chalice of Demon's Extract and resisted the Danger Beast's attempt to break her mind/ take control of her, while even of a cup of the blood can destroy a human's psyche

Emerald: Man. A woman who possesses great ice powers and can stop time, can anything stop her?

Zuko: Shockingly, yes. While Esdeath may be smart, her arrogance and insanity tends to overcome her thinking, causing her to act blindly and even underestimate her opponents.

Tatsumi: What's more, while Mahapadma is useful, it's not really one hundred percent effective. Since the Mahapadma requires a lot of energy, it can only be used once every 24 hours and can be nullified by anyone with Ice resistance.

Zuko: Not only that, but she was also killed by Akame with a single cut. As strong as she is, even Esdeath is not immune to Murasame's curse.

Weakness

Bloodlust easily takes control in battle.

Prefers to leave her opponents alive and in pain rather than finishing them off right away.

Will allow survivors for future battles.

A Mayadere, she is obsessed with Tatsumi and mainly focuses on him, even if killing him which can lead distractions.

Could've finished off Akame and the others when she used Mahapadma and killed Tyrant.

Her powers/energy can get exhausted even with her Ice Storm Commander-In-Chief.

Emerald: Alright let me start with this one. For many years, my leader Cinder has been a pawn to Salem's plans, acting a part in her small conspiracy. However, she eventually formed her own band, consisting of Mercury, herself and yours truly!

Tatsumi: Among the tasks undertaken by Cinder has been the recruitment of Adam Taurus, the leader of the Faunus revolutionary organization known as the White Fang. 

Emerald: Sometime after that, Cinder and her team attacked the Fall Maiden, Amber, and Cinder was able to appropriate some of her powers for herself. After that, she engineered the collapse of the Vytal Festival Tournament and the subsequent fall of Beacon Academy.

Zuko: It was at this time that Cinder killed Amber, the Fall Maiden, acquiring the rest of her powers, and fought and presumably killed Professor Ozpin, the headmaster of Beacon Academy. She later fought and killed Pyrrha Nikos, a student at Beacon Academy, who was also a wide-recognized combat champion.

Emerald: However, she didn't fare well against a certain red head and she lost her arm, leg and even her voice.

Tatsumi: Salem undertook Cinder's rehabilitation, giving her a Grimm arm to replace the one that she lost to Ruby, and training her to fully utilize the powers she gained as the Fall Maiden. Cinder fought numerous powerful Grimm single-handedly and became a formidable fighter. Along the way, she regained the use of her voice.

Zuko: Using her Grimm Arm, Cinder can not only stretch it to a great extend, but she can even use it to absorb a Maiden's powers.

Emerald: And plus, with or without her Grimm Arm, Cinder is kinda pyrokinetic, capable of manipulating fire. Also capable of manipulating ice and wind even without dust.

Emerald: Did I mentioned she even killed Amber and even absorbed half of her power? Well, she kinda had me and Mercury to thank for that. But her greatest feat is killing that stupid Pyrrha Nikos. Damn. She didn't see that coming!

Tatsumi: I'm surprised why you would call her stupid.

Emerald: Hey! You can't blame me! I support this side of the team. And besides, JNPR is kinda an enemy to me anyways.

Zuko: Anyways, Cinder is also quite tough, capable of surviving losing her bodyparts from Ruby and even survived getting frozen and thrown into water by Raven Branwen, something very few could accomplish.

Emerald: Not to mention she could even survive when Snow White stabbed her in the back. Man, why won't they ever give up if Cinder can't really die that easily?

Zuko: To answer your question Emerald, Cinder isn't really invincible. She's very overconfident and she tends to throw massive tantrums when the battle doesn't go her way.

Emerald: If I have anything to say about her, her powers doesn't really increase her speed and durability, making her no less fast and durable as a normal person.

Zuko: And her superiority complex is her greatest downfall, tending to underestimate her opponents and going as far as to bask her victory even without finishing her enemies off, leading her to become extremely unprepared if the battle doesn't go her way.

Dangerously overconfident and sadistic when facing unworthy opponents.

Despite her confident demeanor, Cinder's monumental temper surfaces, showing her immense shock and outrage.

Jaune managed to nick the edge of Cinder's mask during the battle at Haven Academy

Overestimated by Ruby and Raven.

She tends to fight without much strategy (Her arrogance and aggressiveness often leds to this as she keeps getting outsmarted by the Spring Maiden Raven)

Despite her maiden powers, her durability and speed are no more than normal.

Severe superiority complex and egomania often leads her to underestimate her opponents, going as far as to bask in her victories before finishing her enemies off. and leaves her unprepared for when plans go awry.

Her plans don't always go as expected or can be predictable to clever foes.

Raven used Vernal as a decoy that she is the Spring Maiden to keep the power silent before Cinder tries to set them up and takes it for herself.

Lost her left eye and lack of depth perception (As of Vol. 4).

Grimm arm cannot harness aura, meaning it is vulnerable to attacks and it can still feel pain unlike the rest of her body.

Silver Eyes' power is shown to be a "crippling weakness" to all the Maiden's powers. V4, E1).

Ultimately defeated by Raven Branwen.

Stabbed in the eye by Neopolitan's umbrella

Tatsumi: Not to mention, Raven Branwen and Ruby may claim she's stronger but in truth, Cinder has ultimately lost against them, many of their fights leading to Cinder either getting crippled or almost dying.

Zuko: And plus, her Grimm arm cannot really harness aura, meaning, it is vulnerable to any forms of attacks and she can still feel pain there.

Emerald: But knowing how smart and how literally hot she is, you RWBY fans can be well assured that this is the exact reason why I will serve her till the very end.

Perhaps Ozpin felt as though defeating Atlas in the tournament would help people forget his colossal failure to protect Vale when the Grimm invaded its streets. Or perhaps this was his message to the tyrannical dictator that has occupied an unsuspecting kingdom with armed forces. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue as to who is right and who is wrong, but I know that the existence of peace is fragile, and the leaders of our kingdoms conduct their business with iron gloves. As someone who hails from Mistral, I can assure you the situation there is equally undesirable. Our kingdoms are at the brink of war, yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark. So, I ask you, when the first shots are fired, who do you think you can trust?

But of course, I woke up and I betrayed him during the failed invasion of the Fire Nation, thus leading me to helping the Avatar defeat my father once and for all.

Tatsumi: From what I know, she lost her sanity and her throne, leading her to getting locked away in an asylum right?

Zuko: Yeah, but she gained back control, even leading a group of Firebenders from the Institute and have been plotting my downfall ever since. I never saw her but I know she's still out there.

Emerald: Right. So because she's from the Fire Nation, Azula possesses an ability like Cinder, the ability to manipulate fire, except it's blue. Why is that? 

Zuko: To answer your question, since young, Azula demonstrated and mastered fourteen arts of fire-bending, to the point of turning her flames blue, making her a fire-bender prodigy. And if you ask, yes, that literally makes her stronger and better than me despite being younger.

Emerald: Being weaker than your younger sister? Man, that must've sucked.

Tatsumi: Not only that, but she has also has the ability to bend lightning, a much higher state of firebending that can potentially kills it's victims. Although it can be redirected but it's not one hundred percent guaranteed a success.

Zuko: She's also very manipulative, being able to scare and manipulate even her friends to help her.

In the dark night, Azula strodes along the hallways of her castle, playing around with a small burst of fire.

FWOOSH!!!

Outside, several guards stood outside, guarding the entrance in hopes of keeping out intruders.

Just then, the guards notices a rather tall and slender figure stepping towards the castle

Suspicious, the guard shouts out to the figure.

Fire Nation Guard: Halt! Who goes there?!

The figure didn't answer.

Instead, she lunges forward at supernatural speed, slicing across the guards.

SLASH!!!

Within seconds, both guards drops onto the floor, dead.

Plop!

With the two guards out of her way, the woman raises uo her clawed hand, lightly pushing against the door.

Creeeaaakkk!!!

The door creaks open and the woman jumps in.

At the same time, a figure in blue and water runs up across the rooftop, staring down from her vantage point.

Several guards slowly strolls along the palace gardens, talking amongst themselves.

Fire Nation Guard: And so I told her, " Baby, you and I could really be together."

Fire Nation Guard: Heh heh heh!

The second Fire Nation Guard chuckles at his comrade's tale.

Using the guards's distraction to her advantage, the figure drops down from the roof, landing on the ground with a soft thud.

Thud!

As the figure slowly creeps towards them, the guards are still oblivious of the figure's presence.

Fire Nation Guard: And I was like " Oh Yeah!" And he was like....

Before the Fire Nation Guard could even finish his sentence, all of a sudden.....

SHING!!!

Thud! Thud!

The figure steps along the garden, her blue hair wavering in the wind as she walks past two frozen ice sculptures.

It wasn't long before a feeling of insecure began creeping up Azula's spine.

Sensing the presence of an intruder, Azula calls out loudly.

Azula: I know you are there! Come out!

Right at that moment, Azula heard a sinister voice chuckling out.

???: Heh heh heh. Nicely done girl.

Azula spun around, finding a rather tall woman standing behind her.

The woman's short black and red hair glistens in the night, her chinese-style dress waving against the wind.

Azula steps towards the woman and she warns her.

Azula: Look. I don't know who you are but you are facing the new Fire Lord of the Fire Nation. So leave or I'll just burn you alive!

Upon hearing her threats, the woman bursts out in a fits of maniacal laughter.

???: Ah ha ha ha ha ha! Foolish girl. You face Cinder Fall and for your disrespect, you shall taste my wrath!

FWOOSH!!!

Fire blazes from Cinder's hand as she points it at Azula.

At the same time, Azula strokes two fingers across her hand, creating a sudden burst of lightning from her hand.

BSSZZZTTTTT!!!

Azula: Hee hee. You're so going to regret this!

Announcer: Fight!

FWOOSH!!!

Cinder swung her hand across, sending a torrent of fire blazing towards her opponent.

Azula jumps to the side, rolling across the floor before jumping up, throwing a burst of fire from her hand.

FWOOSH!!!

Cinder opens her palm, neutralizing the fire effortlessly.

FWOOM!!!

Azula swings her leg across the air, absorbing the flane with her foot before thrusting her hand out, sending a streak of lightning crackling at Cinder.

CRACK!!! BOOM!!!

Just as Cinder jumps to the side, Azula throws her leg up, launching the ball of fire right at Cinder.

FWOOSH!!! BOOM!!!

Cinder: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Cinder screams out in agony as she drops onto the floor.

FWOOSH!!!

Blue fire engulfs Azula's hands as she launches then at Cinder.

FWOOSH!!!

Right at that moment.....

SHING!!!

A sudden blast of ice streams across the air, freezing the flames right in midair.

Both Azula and Cinder turns their heads to the side.

Right at that moment, a tall woman with long blue hair jumps up, introducing herself to the two.

???: Attention you two, by the orders of the Emperor, I, General Esdeath hereby sentence you to Death!!!

Thud!

Esdeath lands footfirst onto the ground, looking up just as the announcer began announcing to the audience.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen! We have a new combatant! 

Esdeath swings her hand across, launching several shards of ice right at the two.

Azula swings her leg across, emitting a burst of fire from her legs.

FWOOSH!!!

CHING!!!

The ice shatters from each and every kick she throws.

At the same time, Cinder rushes towards Azula, swiping at the ice shards before throwing them at the princess.

Twip! Twip!

FWOOSH!!!

Azula thrusts out her hand, launching a stream of fire right at the ice shards, immediately causing them to instantly melt into water.

Just as Esdeath races across the floor, Azula and Cinder jumps up into the air, exchanging blows against each other.

FWOOSH!!! FWOOSH!!!

Red and blue fire spews across the floor, igniting everything in their surrounding area in flames.

Cinder swings her arm across, striking Azula across the face.

WHAM!!!

Azula whips out dagger and she throws it at Cinder, only succeeding in scratching against her arm.

Slit!

SHING!!!

Cinder swings her arms out, forming a sword out of thin air.

Cinder: HA HA HA HA!!! It's over for you!

WHOOSH!!!

Cinder lunges outwards, swinging her sword construct just as Azula jumps back.

At the same time, Esdeath jumps up into the air, throwing a kick right at Azula.

WHAM!!!

Azula: AAAHHHHHHH!!!

Azula screams out in agony as she falls onto the floor with a loud thud.

Thud!

Esdeath faces Cinder, swinging her sword back just as Cinder swings at her wildly.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

As Azula pushes herself up, the sound of metal clanging booms across the floor, attracting her attention.

Both Cinder and Esdeath grits their teeth, a sneer spreads across their face as their swords clashes along the fiery ambers.

FWOOSH!!!

Azula opens her mouth, spewing fire from her mouth right onto the two.

Esdeath: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Esdeath screams out in agony, falling back from the attack.

Plop!

Cinder thrusts her Grimm arm outwards, grabbing onto Azula by the neck.

Grip!

Azula: HRGGHHHH!!!

Shocked by the sudden attack, Azula thrashes beneath Cinder's arm, screaming out through her chokes for air.

Azula: Hgn! Let me go!

FWOOM!!!

Small cervices of fire emits from Cinder's irises and she smirks, taunting the Fire Nation Princess.

Cinder: Heh heh heh heh. Foolish girl. Your time is up.

Azula: You.....will regret this!

Azula angrily vows, thrashing as fire spews from her mouth.

FWOOSH!!!

Cinder clenches her fist, watching in sadistic glee as a loud crack snaps across the burning palace.

CRACK!!!

At that moment, Esdeath pushes herself up, using her sword as a form of support and she looks up.

Esdeath watches in silent shock as Azula's body fell limp within Cinder's hand, watching just as Cinder spoke out without looking back.

Cinder: Hm. Such a waste.

The Fire Maiden then thrusts her arm out, tossing Azula's body into a nearby burning fire.

FWOOSH!!!

As Azula's body slowly burns, Cinder turns her back to face Esdeath, sadistically speaking to her.

Cinder: Now then Snow Queen, now that the child's out of the way, I shall deal with you next.

Esdeath grins at her opponent's confident demeanor and she cackles.

Esdeath: Ah ha ha ha ha ha! Foolish girl, you shall see what I am truly capable of!

The General raises up her hand, immediately conjuring up several centaurian creatures made of ice.

Esdeath points a finger at Cinder, giving out her order.

Esdeath: Attack!

THUMP!!! THUMP!!!

The Ice Centaurs races off, sprinting towards Cinder.

FWOOSH!!!

Fire bursts from Cinder's hands and she spins across the ground, shattering each oncoming Centaur with a single strike.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Cinder opens her palm, launching a ball of fire onto a Centaur.

FWOOM!!!

The Centaur opens it's jaws just as it's body went out in a fiery explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Right at that moment, Esdeath lunges forward, swinging her sword at Cinder.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Cinder swings her sword across, blocking Esdeath's blows before thrusting out her Grimm arm, grabbing onto Esdeath.

The Fire Maiden then turns around, slamming Esdeath backfirst onto the ground.

BAM!!!

Esdeath: AAHHHHH!!!

WHOOSH!!!

Cinder lunges forward, throwing her leg up onto Esdeath's back.

WHAM!!!

Esdeath: AAAHHHHHH!!!

Esdeath screams out in agony as she was sent flying up into the air.

SHING!!!

Cinder thrusts out her hands, conjuring a bow and arrow out of thin air.

The Fire Maiden aims the bow upwards, unleashing a repeated rapid fire of arrows onto the General.

Twip! Twip! Twip! Twip!

Esdeath grits her teeth as she feels the glass shards cutting through her skin.

Shok! Shok! Shok! Shok!

WHOOSH!!!

Cinder launches herself upwards, flying up into the air.

Esdeath spins in the air, recovering from the attack, throwing her leg upwards.

SHING!!!

Several sharps shards of ice flows out of the ground, floasting around the General.

SHING!!!

Esdeath's body began emitting a frost of ice, completely encasing her in ice armour.

Now armed within her armour, Esdeath lunges herself outwards, flying towards Cinder.

WHOOSH!!!

Cinder narrows her eyes, closing onto her.

CLANG!!!

The sound of metal clanging cuts through the air just as Esdeath and Cinder crosses blades.

Cinder swings her arm out, throwing several arrows at Esdeath.

Esdeath swipes her hand across, raising up an ice shield, instantly blocking the projectiles.

SWING!!!

Esdeath thrusts out her leg, sending the ice shield right at Cinder.

CRASH!!!

Cinder slams bodyfirst through the ice, a smirk curls up from her lips just as she lunges towards Esdeath.

WHAM!!!

Esdeath grits her teeth as she felt Cinder's fist strike her across her cheek.

WHAM!!!

Esdeath felt a strong blow striking her across her gut.

FWOOSH!!!

Fire emits from Cinder's palm just as she raises it up, screaming.

Cinder: You're mine!

However, right at that moment....

WHHOOM!!!

Just moments before Cinder throws her attack, everything around her froze, stopping right in time.

As time freezes in what seems to be a pause in time, Esdeath smirks and she mutters out.

Esdeath: Sorry, but this is one ball Cinderella won't be going.

SLASH!!!

A loud sound cuts across the air and Cinder's head slowly slips away from her neck.

Esdeath swings her sword across Cinder's body, cutting her up with several slashes of her sword.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

As chunks of meats of what used to be Cinder drifts in mid air, Esdeath raises up her hand, a massive sphere of ice forming over her head.

SHING!!!

Esdeath: Begone!

Esdeath throws the ice sphere downwards, crashing down onto the remains of Cinder.

THOOM!!!

As time began resuming, Esdeath watches in malicious glee as the ice sphere falls into the blazing inferno, watching as Cinder's remains catches fire.

FWOOSH!!!

With her opponents disposed off, Esdeath smiles to herself, lowering herself down onto the floor.

Esdeath: Alright, that's done it. Now, to get my Prince Charming.

Esdeath watches just as FrostWing lands in front of her, a look of shock struck upon his face.

FrostWing: Whoa! What happened here?

Esdeath simply answers FrostWing, shrugging casually.

Esdeath: Oh you know. An ice breaker set ablaze.

FrostWing planted a kiss on Esdeath's cheek and he ushers her onto his arms.

FrostWing: Well come, you must be beat from your battle.

Esdeath jumps onto FrostWing, holding onto him as he takes off into the air, leaving the charred remains of both Azula and Cinder burning in the blazing inferno.

Megumi: Holy! So ice does put out fire!

Toomi: Shockingly, all three of them have many advantages over each other, Azula being more smarter, Cinder being stronger and Esdeath being more skilled. But at the end of the day, Esdeath's interllect, power and skills won out in the end.

Sachi: Indeed. Azula may have been able to strike fear towards both her friends and enemies but Esdeath's name alone has spread terror across the border. With her ability to break the spirits of even the strongest soul.

Megumi: Not only that, Cinder too possesses the strength of monsters but Esdeath is no stranger to monster power. The Demon Extract, which is the blood of a demon possesses powers that drives many insane, meaning that by utilizing such power, Demon Extract alone trumps any bodyparts of a Grimm.

Toomi: While all three tends to become extremely blood lusted in midbattle, Esdeath is a more master strategist, possessing excellent knowledge and even able to time her use of Mahapadma just in time to finish off her opponent.

Megumi: Cinder may be physically stronger but once Esdeath uses Mahapadma, it's literally game over for her. Looks like Esdeath really roasted the two in this ice breaker.

Sachi: The winner is Esdeath
