Toomi: The threat of impending doom brought upon the earth is a terrifying thought, the possibility of annihilation from outer space by forces with technology far superior to our own is far from an impossibility.

Megumi: And should the day come that a lone alien warrior who's bent on making us humans grovel beneath their surprisingly small feet, come to earth it could just mean the end of the world, probably.

Toomi: Such as Zim, the Irken Invader of planet earth,

Megumi: And Peridot, the tech-savy Crystal Gem of the Gem Homeworld, she's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Toomi: The Irken empire, one of the most ruthless alien races in the galaxy, they conquered and enslaved other planets, and have a love for snacks.

Megumi: One of them seem to be the most craziest of them all, and his name was Zim.

Second Tallest: It can't be! Zim!

Sachi: Born and Raised on planet irk, Zim's dream was to become an invader in order to impress his planet's leaders The Almighthy Tallest, who were leaders just cuz their taller than everyone else

Megumi: Anyway Zim eventually work his way up and became one the leading invader's of operation impending doom. But however things didn't go as planned, which involves Zim destroying his planet.

Toomi: The Tallest then banished Zim to a fast food themed planet, where he was forced to work there for the rest of his life, but he escaped. Zim went back to his home planet, when he learn of operation impending doom 2 and it was serving delicious nachos.

Sachi: Wanting to get rid of Zim, the tallest sent Zim to a planet that they had no idea exist, and that planet is Earth

Megumi: It was there was when he met Dim membrane and they begin a long rivalry together.

Dim: My name is Dib Membrane, and I'm all that stands between Zim and the annihilation of our world.

Toomi: While Irkens may not be one of the tallest species of aliens in the universe, Zim is surprisingly strong, capable of throwing around normal humans, leap onto school buses and even smash down a door using one of his teammates as a battering ram.

Megumi: He can also disappear in a blink of an eye, leap and climb objects at high speeds and even dodge projectiles by doing flips and leaps

Sachi: He also carries a range of weapons ranging from teleporter, baseball bat, voice changer, battle suit, super weapons and even a toilet plunger which is a tractor beams that pulls his enemies close to him.

Toomi: Zim's primary means of transportation includes the Voot Cruiser, also known as the "Voot Runner" which has plasma cannons, pods for cutting lasers and can even move at the speed of light itself.

Sachi: But like most cartoon characters, Zim has insane durability, surviving countless crash landings and even once tanked a town level explosion

Toomi: Speaking of explosion, Zim has also survived being burnt in Earth's atmosphere, now note that Earth's temperature range in Fahrenheit is from 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit in the uppermost atmosphere to a global average temperature of around 59 degrees Fahrenheit near the surface which means that Zim can survive the temperatures of 15 degrees celsius.

Sachi: Not to mention, he even survived the heat of the sun itself, which temperature is about 27,000,000 Fahrenheit.

Megumi: And for a really crappy disguise, Zim really fooled pretty much almost everyone on Earth.

Feats

Somehow has fooled the entire world with his less then obvious disguise and hideout, with the exception of Dib and Gaz

Started a large food fight with Dib

Unintentionally created life, was worshipped as a god by amoebas, and then destroyed them

Wrecked his home planet Irk

Fought Dib and the Ubertrousers with his Anti-Pants Battle-Legs for 14 hours

Stole every kid in Skool's organs including Dib's

Made Dib forget where he hid footage of ZIM

Made a large water balloon that wiped out a town

Toomi: And one of the most shocking thing Zim has done is that one time he traveled forward in time and defeated a future version of himself who ironically succeeded in taking over the world.

Megumi: Hold on a second, if he defeated his future self, wouldn't that mean that he will never succeed in conquering Earth for himself?

Megumi: Damn, Marvel's rule of Time Travel.

Toomi: However, despite that, Zim is not really an actual threat if he doesn't put his own mind into it. Especially since there were many times he almost succeeded but ends up dropping it at the last minute

Sachi: And he can be pretty arrogant at times

Weakness

Can't become an actual threat if he doesn't put his mind to it, despite having the potential.

Human food (it causes him pain and in some cases makes his head inflate).

Vulnerable to Earth water, as the smallest drop of rain will cause his skin to burn.

If his PAK is removed, he will have 10 minutes to retrieve it, or he'll die.

Has a big fear of germs.

Came so close in conquering Earth multiple times, but drops the ball at the last minute.

However, he temporarily succeeded in Enter The Florpus.

Meat will burn his flesh.

Always gives his opponents useful advice.

Arrogant to a fault.

Massive ego can get in the way of his mission.

Overzealous, even by his people's standards.

Sometimes his plans are just stupid and doesn't think things through.

Has been pinned down by Dib, an Elementary Skool student.

Toomi: But his main weakness are human food as just eating those can cause him pain.

Sachi: To think they he would think this through before attacking a planet that is 71 perccent water.

Toomi: Well to be fair, Zim was only sent out on a mission to either die or get lost in space. The Irkens have no intention of taking over Earth, heck they don't even know that the planet even existed.

Megumi: But knowing his future, the nicest thing I can say is that Zim has a really really good chance of taking over Earth.

Toomi: Deep in space far from Earth, there live a planet full of gems known as the Gem Homeworld.

Megumi: Which is basically an all female lesbian planet. I like this show.

Toomi: Moving on. Now there are many Gems and one of those includes the Peridots, with one being sent by her superior Yellow Diamond to oversee the Cluster, a artificially forced fusion of millions of shattered gem fragments created to be a super weapon. 

Sachi: However, after learning three of Rose Quartz's supporters in the revolt that hindered Blue Diamond's colonization ages ago have survived and been sabotaging her attempts to restore the Warp pads, a chain of events results Peridot in being marooned on Earth.

Toomi: Fearful for her wellbeing, attempting evade them while trying to contact Yellow Diamond for emergency evacuation, Peridot is forced to ally herself with the Crystal Gems to stop the Cluster before it could awaken and destroy Earth as a consequence.

Megumi: While it was originally a momentary truce as she realized Earth could still be of use to the Gem homeworld, Peridot ends up becoming a Crystal Gem out of circumstance and a desire to understand Earth and its residential life forms, living in the barn with Lapis Lazuli as her roommate.

Toomi: Being a...well...Peridot, Peridot is a skilled technicians and kindergardener, having extensive knowledge regarding the location, mineral, and injectors used to create Gems and the state of such Gem by how they appear as themselves and the hole they had come out of.

Megumi: She's also very smart, being  able to instantly memorize the musical scale of a ukulele after hearing Steven in "It Could've Been Great", demonstrating perfect pitch.

Sachi: Though Peridot was originally thought to have no powers, until in "Too Short to Ride", it is shown that Peridot can levitate and control metallic objects.

Toomi: Being a Crystal Gem does give Peridot many perks, granting her the ability to adapt to any planetary gravity, resilience to most attacks that would normally kill an ordinary human and also immortality.

Sachi: And she's smart enough to put the Crystal Gems to near death by tricking them into entering an old and damaged Gem Ship, subjecting them to a series of death traps for hours.

Megumi: But her most impressive feat is befriending Lapis Lazuli, you know, that Gem that originally haboured deep hatred for the Gems.

Megumi: Yikes!

Feats

Her body can adapt to any planetary body's gravity.

Resilient against electric attacks.

Nearly destroyed the Crystal Gems by tricking them to enter an old and damaged Gem spaceship, subjecting them to a series of death traps for over a few hours' time before they reached her.

Defeated Pearl in a giant robot battle.

Stood up to Yellow Diamond in the heat of a moment, by calling her a "Clod", realizing what she had done and eventually coping with it.

Managed to win Lapis Lazuli's friendship.

She poofed a feral corrupted Jasper with only a metal rod when she lunged at Steven.

Peridot is extremely hard to poof. She survived two injector drill heads right to the head. About 20 rocks, being dragged by an extremely fast Corrupted Gem, and 2 falls down a canyon all in the same day.

"Metal Powers" have increased to let her lift a car twenty feet off the ground with little concentration and stalemate Lapis' hydrokinesis in a tug-of-war.

Toomi: And it turns out Peridot is a tough nut, or should I say Gem to crack. Literally.  She survived two injector drill heads right to the head. About 20 rocks, being dragged by an extremely fast Corrupted Gem, and 2 falls down a canyon all in the same day.

Megumi: Damn! How is she still alive?

Toomi: However, as an Era 2 Gem, Peridot lacks the ability to shapeshift, meaning she initially was reliant on mechanical enhancements to help make up for it.

Sachi: What's more, she's very arrogant and prideful.

Weakness

Lacks the ability to shape-shift due to the lack materials during her composition as an Era 2 Gem.

Not much of a fighter without technology.

Overly arrogant and prideful, deluding herself to think she would be public enemy on the Gem Homeworld for insulting Yellow Diamond and is the leader of the Crystal Gems.

Generally a coward who flees rather than confront her opponent in a fair fight. Has outgrown this trait, though she has developed a tendency to overestimate her combat effectiveness and thus challenge those clearly her superior.

Tends to talk herself into trouble.

Originally a bit of a fangirl around elite Gems like the Diamonds.

Once talked to corn, assuming they and all forms of inanimate vegetation were intelligent forms of life that should obey her for creating them.

Is obsessed with the Canadian teen drama "Camp Pining Hearts".

Puts Lapis' feelings and needs before her own even when it is emotionally detrimental to her

Toomi: And Peridot is sadly not much of a fighter like the Crystal Gems, often times reliant on her intelligence and technology to help her in her battles

Sachi: And she was originally a coward.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

Sachi: Don't forget to vote, comment what you think of the fight.

Megumi: Yeah, but right now, it's time for a Death Battle!

On the lush sandy beach, Peridot sat alone on the shore, pondering to herself.

Peridot: Man, I wonder how everyone is doing these days. Hm, I wonder if I should maybe check out that movie Steven wanted to show me?

However, right at that moment, something steps up from behind her, yelling out.

???: You there!

Peridot: Huh?

Confused, Peridot looks back, her eyes widens in confusion and shock as she lay eyes on the newcomer.

The newcomer is a short male alien cladded in human clothes with large eyes glaring at her.

Peridot: Uh, who are you exactly?

Zim: I am Zim! And you shall not take this planet from me!

Peridot chuckles out.

Peridot: Look pal, I don't want to take over this planet, I live here. And second of all, you'll have to go through me!

Announcer: Fight!

Zim rushes forward only for Peridot to swipe to the side before thrusting her leg out, tripping Zim over.

Zim's eyes widens as he falls forward, landing face down in the sand.

POOF!!!

Angered, Zim lifts his head off the ground, screaming out.

Zim: That's it!

Zim pulls out his baseball bat, rushing forward at Peridot.

Peridot's immediate reaction was to take her Tablet and throw it at Zim, only for the Irken to swing his bat across, shattering her device with a single strike.

CRASH!!!

Peridot: Hey! You gonna have to pay for that!

Peridot narrows her eyes, putting her hands out as she shifts it across.

The shattered metallic parts of the tablet flies up into the air before zooming forward, flying straight towards Zim.

Upon realizing what is happening, Zim taps on his teleporter, instantly causing his entire body to disappear, narrowingly dodging the projectiles.

WHOOM!!!

Zim reappears in the middle of the beach, sighing out in relief.

Zim: Whew! That was close.

However, right at that moment, something fast moves across the air, striking Zim by the back of his head.

WHAM!!!

Zim: YEOW!!!

As Zim massages his sore head, he looks up, watching as Peridot sat on the top of her flying trash can cover, using her photokinesis to transport herself across the beach.

Peridot looks back and she yells out mockingly.

Peridot: Smell ya later ya clod!

WHOOSH!!!

Determined to take down his opponent, Zim pulls out his Voot Cruiser, jumping up into the vehicle before driving forward, persuing his opponent.

VROOM!!!

As the two green aliens travels across the town at high speed, Zim presses onto the buttons, activating it's plasma cannons before opening fire at Peridot.

PIU!!! PIU!!!

Peridot shifts herself to the left and to the right, gritting her teeth intensively as she dodges every shot Zim makes at her.

Using every ounce of her might, Peridot raises up her arms, lifting a car up into the air before throwing it at Zim.

Zim presses a button, opening fire at the car.

PIU!!!

KABOOM!!!

As the car went off in a massive explosion, Zim closes in, pulling out his dart gun before opening fire at Peridot.

PIUT!!! PIUT!!! PIUT!!!

Peridot jumps off her trash can lid, crashing body first into a fire hydrant.

CLANK!!!

Peridot: YEOW!!!

As Peridot rolls over, the sheer impact of the blow instantly causes the hydrant to rupture, pouring water all over the place.

Zim: Uh oh.

Before Zim could react, the water splashes right into his body.

SPLASH!!!

Almost immediately after getting into contact with the liquid, Zim falls back onto the floor, letting out a loud agonizing scream.

Zim: YYYAAAAHHHHHH!!!

As Peridot pushes herself up, she stares at Zim confusingly, questioning him.

Peridot: Wait, just hold on a second, you're weak against water? Ah ha ha ha!

Peridot slaps her thighs in amusement, bursting into a fit of laughter before running forward, swinging her legs upwards.

WHAM!!!

The single blow of the kick sends Zim flying across the air, crashing backfirst through a window.

CRASH!!!

Peridot turns around, smiling to herself as she dusts her hands.

Peridot: Ah, now we're done.

How wrong she was.

As Peridot walks away, Zim slowly pushes himself up, saying.

Zim: No...not done yet.

Zim presses onto a button, instantly activating his Battle Suit.

BSH!!! CSH!!! CHK!!!

Peridot: Huh?

Just as Peridot halts in her place, Zim rushes forward, throwing a punch right in her face.

WHAM!!!

Peridot: YEOW!!!

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Zim attacks Peridot with a flurry of punches before grabbing onto her by her leg, lifting her up before swinging her downwards, slamming her square onto the ground.

THOOM!!! THOOM!!!

Zim then pulls out his tennis ball machine, placing Peridot on the nozzle of the machine before pressing onto the button.

Tap!

BAM!!!

Almost instantly, Peridot felt a strong blow singing across her stomach before feeling her entire body lift off into the air, flying backfirst into a building.

CRASH!!!

Zim then pulls jumps up into his Zim-Pod, flying up into the air.

As Peridot shakes her head, recovering from the last blow, just then, she notices everything getting darker around her, causing her to question out.

Peridot: What the?

Peridot looks up, her eyes widens in shock as she found herself staring at a water balloon, a massive water balloon looming over the entire town.

Zim looks down and he cackles out.

Zim: Ha ha! This time, you're doomed!

Zim thrusts his arms down, sending the water balloon dropping right onto top of the tow.

SPLASH!!!

A massive tsunami of water gushes across the town, it's current sending all sorts of debris washing everywhere.

Zim slowly lowers himself to the ground, pulling out his Plunger of Doom before aiming it down.

VROOM!!!

But to his surprise, instead of Peridot, a small little Gem Stone flies out of the water current, landing right into the cap of the plunger.

Zim takes the gem and he says to it.

Zim: Well, I don't really have any use of it.

Zim then pulls out his Bazoogian Core Muncher, popping the gem stone inside the machine before activating it.

The Bazoogian Core Muncher slams itself shut, instantly shattering the gem stone completely.

CRASH!!!

As the fragments of the gem stone drops into the water, Zim says to himself.

Zim: Alright, I wonder where that little menace went.

Zim then flies off in search of Peridot, unaware of the fact that he has already killed her.

Megumi: Where's Dim when you need him the most?

Toomi: Peridot may be a tough Gem to crack but Zim held the advantage in combat strength and many other factors.

Sachi: Indeed, Zim has dealt with a kid like Dib who is surprisingly strong for one, lifts up vehicles and even took a huge number of beatings over the series whereas Peridot herself is afraid of facing the Crystal Gems in combat without her technology.

Toomi: And while Peridot and Zim may be similar in terms of intelligience, Zim took the shortest amount of time to figure out every animal on Earth literally in a blink of an eye on the very pilot episode whereas Peridot actually talked to a corn, thinking that plant life can talk.

Megumi: Peridot may be able to take a beating but even she has limits as shown, Diamonds are still strong enough to knock her out and she was even beaten by Amethyst. And like all Gems, enough damage can cause her to revert back into her stone form.

Toomi: And Zim has taken all sorts of beatings, getting stomped on by an alien twice his size, getting tortured with food by Tak, getting blown up, falling from a great height and he's nowhere close to dying.

Sachi: But the advantage Peridot has is her lack of exploitable weaknesses. Since Zim is weak to water, Peridot damaging the fire hydrant did gave her the advantage since Crystal Gems don't really have any kind of Kryptonite.

Megumi: Except that like Superman, the water weakness can hurt him, weaken him but not kill him, especially since throughout the series, he has food and water attacking him and he still came out fine.

Toomi: Having the toughest endurance, the greater knowledge and even more impressive capabilities, this is what Zim has to take the win of this battle

Megumi: Looks like Peridot was crushed trying to stop this Invader, Zim.

Sachi: The winner is Zim

Zim: I'm an unstoppable death machine you know.
