Megumi: And Daredevil, the man without fear

Toomi: Red, is the color of blood, it has historically been associated with sacrifice, danger, and courage.

Megumi: And these two have proven that losing their sight doesn't hold them back! She's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Toomi: Pride is a characteristic that usually leads into hubris, when it starts to accumulate in the character.

Sachi: Just like our combatant here, who challenged every swordsman he met.

Toomi: Kenshi Takahashi was a born fighter who wandered most of Earthrealm searching for a worthy opponent. Nearly every time he found an opponent he'd beat them just to boost up his own pride.

Megumi: But one day, after years of traveling the world in search of worthy opponents, a mysterious elderly man named Song offered to show him the location of Sento, an ancient sword worthy of his abilities. Being the prideful douche he was at the time, he followed Song into the Well of Souls.

Sachi: When Kenshi retrieved the sword, spirits came out of the well and blinded Kenshi. The old man was actually Shang Tsung, and he consumed the souls that Kenshi had released.

Megumi: Kenshi was blinded and had no idea about where he should go. Then the magic sword talked to him and became his tour guide out of the cave. And that tour guide also became his weapon and eyes.

Toomi: The sword also told him that he was the descendant of many warriors who were buried in that tomb. And Kenshi the Blind Swordsman was born, and he set out to beat up pieces of shit like Shang Tsung and free the souls within Shang.

Sachi: He met up with Scorpion and helped him accept his hellfire curse and joined the Special Forces, his first task was to go undercover in the Red Dragon clan and infiltrate it. He blew his cover and was forced to retreat, much to his dismay.

Megumi:  This guy should take stealth lectures from Solid Snake and Big Boss, maybe he'll learn not to bring a big-ass sword that no one will totally see.

Toomi:  The Red Dragon then found out about Kenshi's familiy and they sent their mercernaries to kill his wife Suchin and his son Takeda. Sonya informed him about this and Kenshi knew that he couldn't reach them in time. Luckily, his wife hid his son, Takeda, with Suchin's mother. Suchin killed the Red Dragon mercenaries with a katana but she was also killed by one of the mercenaries.

Megumi: I'm sorry Kenshi, but your son is in another castle.

Toomi: The Red Dragon then caught up with Kenshi and didn't realize that they were trespassing Shirai Ryu territory, which resulted in Scorpion killing Hsu Hao and forcing the Red Dragon to retreat.

Sachi: Kenshi left Takeda to be taken care of by Scorpion and left to continue his mission against the Red Dragon alongside the Special Forces, while continuing his itinerant swordsman ways.

Toomi: Despite his blindness, Kenshi possesses senses that are heightened beyond their normal ability and can fight on par with any other kombatant. Kenshi wields an ancestral sword called Sento that contains the spirits of warrior kings from his line, and he is in turn guided by these spirits in combat.

Sachi: And these spirits in his sword are the spirits of past warriors, which guides him in battle and he can sense the presence of anyone by their energy or by hearing them, allowing him to take opponents by surprise.

Megumi: And the best part about being blind, attacks that works on eyes has no effect on him.

Toomi: He can utilize telekinesis, taught to him by Ermac himself, and teleport using his own mind thanks to his heightened mind and senses.

Sachi: He also has the ability to teleport, project images of himself to attack, and is skilled in three fighting styles, Tai Chi, San Shou and Judo.

Megumi: And that's not all, once you break his sword, you have just unleashed demons on yourself. In his Possessed variation, Kenshi can't fight with his good-for-nothing broken sword, but he can use it to summon his demon army through the cracks of the sword. They wield really wicked weapons like a sickle and bisento. They greatly increase Kenshi's combat range.

Toomi: Kenshi can run fast enough with an 8-year old child on his back for hours before getting exhausted. He outran the Red Dragon mercenaries on motorcycles with a medium distance between them.

Megumi: And speaking of mercenaries, he was able to get the best of Kira, Kobra and Kabal and even killing many Black Dragon members

Bested Kira, Kobra and Kabal before losing his eye sight

Impales Sheeva through the chest with his sword, then cuts her on the back.

Toomi: Before he became the Man Without Fear, Matthew Murdock was the son of a professional boxer named Battlin' Jack.

Megumi: Jack, worked tirelessly as a boxer to save up for Matt's future to give him a life, leaving Matt with a decent college fund considering his home-life.

Sachi: One day Matt saw a blind man in his neighborhood about to be hit by a truck and pushed him out of the way. The man was saved, but the truck spilled some of it's cargo, toxic waste as it turned out, and hitting Matt, blinding him permanently.

Toomi: However a miracle happened to Matt, he began to adapt quickly in his new life as a blind man, including attending law school, but Matt remaining four senses were were extremely heightened

Megumi: Matt was also able to retain detailed information, practically forever, down to the smallest details. By the time Matt passed his bar exam, he had developed peek human senses. Matt had also been training himself physically more and more as his studies allowed so he could allow his reaction time to correspond with his new senses.

Sachi: His father was starting o making a name for himself as a boxing contender and invited Matt to one of his matches, but what he didn't tell his son was the fight was fixed and Jack had to take the fall. But wanting his son to see him as a winner, he ended up winning the match

Megumi: But the people who fixed the match didn't like that so they ended up killing Jack in the street only for Matt to find his father's body soon later.

Toomi: Matt wanted to avenge his father, but just the legal way, but more of a vigilante way, he decided to take justice into his own hands. Matt dressed up to protect his identity and used his tracking skills and athletic training to find, incapacitate and bring in the fixer and his crew. The identity the papers gave Matt's vigilante persona was "The Death Defying Daredevil".

Megumi: Matt liked the name and kept it. He would go on to reuse his alter ego to track criminals he could not touch through the legal system and bring them to justice as the Daredevil.

Sachi: As a blind man, Matt's 4 senses are acute and improved than a normal human, his touch can feel the temperature and pressure changes in the atmosphere around him and can feel the presence of a person standing five feet away from him simply by his or her body heat and disturbance of air.

Toomi: With his smell he can detect odors of an atmospheric concentration of thirty parts per million which is how he can identify a person. He can hear a person's heartbeat at a distance of over twenty feet, or people whispering on the other side of a standard soundproofed wall. And his taste enables him to determine every ingredient of a food or drink he tastes.

Megumi: But that's not all, Matt is an accomplished Martial Artist trained by the human equivalent of Master Splinter, Stick taught Matt how to use his Senses and Martial Arts to help in becoming Daredevil. Matt is a master in his 13 different fighting styles including Boxing, Ninjutsu, Karate, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Judo and so much more. He is so skilled in fighting that he fought other master martial artists like Black Widow, Iron Fist, Deadpool, even Wolverineto standstills.

Toomi:  Matt is also skilled in weaponry, he is highly proficient in wielding various martial art weapons through his Ninjutsu training, such as swords, chain weapons, combat knives of all types, and projectiles such as shurikens and throwing knives, but is favorite weapon is his Billy Club.

Megumi: His Daredevil suit is really cool, besides looking like an actual Devil, Matt's suit is also fully bulletproof, fireproof, and fully insulated from electrical attacks. And those horns he has aren't for show, they have a built in antennae that can pick up radio waves, allowing him to tap into police scanners everywhere.

Sachi: Matt was also a gifted gymnast capable of Olympic-level acrobatics that only a few people in the Marvel Universe can accomplish such as Spider-Man, Shang-Chi and Captain America. His skills in acrobatics allows Matt to climb and jump across rooftops and escape police on foot without having a vehicle.

Toomi: Despite being blind, Matt was gifted with Radar Sense, allowing him to form echolocation via low radio wave projection. The signal emanates radio waves from regions of his brain, after which it travels outward, bounces off objects around him, and returns to receiving regions of his brain. With this ability, Matt can synthesize a very close analogue of three-dimensional three-hundred-and-sixty-degree human sight.

Megumi:  Matt is so badass, he once defeated a 107 armed Yukuza in just one night, held his own against the Amazing Spider-Man

Sachi: Daredevil has even survived falling out of a multi story building and defeated several Marvel Villains like Elektra, Bullseye, and his arch nemesis, Kingpin.

Toomi: Daredevil isn't just tough, he's fast as shit. Thanks to his Radar Sense, he can easily dodge and even deflect bullets, being so precise to literally deflect a bullet back at the person trying to shoot him

Megumi: Not only that, he can dodge a bullet in a microsecond, or one millionth of a second, which should be thousands of times faster than the speed of sound, coupled with his radar sense, it is pretty much impossible for any normal person to track and hit him.

Toomi: I mean, just because he is a badass vigilante doesn't mean he is super perfect. He does  have a distinct weakness to high pitched noises, because even though all of his senses are heightened. That makes noises just much..much louder.

Sachi: And very strong odours can affect his sense of smells.

Weakness

Loud, nearby sounds can affect his radar scenes and be extremely painful.

Kingpin learned his secret identity.

Megumi: Regardless, Daredevil was able to turn his life around and go from a helpless blind little kid to one of the deadliest superheroes who doesn't even need to see you to take you down.

Toomi: Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.

In the dark alley way of Hell's Kitchen, police sirens blares as Kingpin dashes through the littered filled alleyway.

Behind him, Daredevil is hot in pursuit.

Just as Kingpin turns around, right at that moment...

SLASH!!!

Kingpin freezes in his track as he felt something cut through his body.

Daredevil stops, watching as Kingpin falls onto the floor, dead.

Plop!

Standing over the dead crime boss stood another figure in red, wearing a red blindfold around his eyes and wielding a sword.

Daredevil: Who are you?

Daredevil questions the stranger as he introduces himself.

Kenshi: I am Kenshi Takahashi. This man is wanted dead or alive by the Special Forces.

Daredevil: You didn't have to kill him. He's supposed to stand trial.

Kenshi: After all he did? He doesn't deserve it.

Daredevil: It's not about deserve. It's about justice. You just committed murder, I cannot allow you to leave.

Kenshi: You want to bring me in. You'll have to beat me.

Daredevil: Take your shot.

Daredevil brandishes his Billy Club and he and Kenshi circles each other, gripping onto their weapons before the two lunges at each other.

Announcer: Fight!

WHAM!!!

Daredevil punches Kenshi knocking the blind swordsman back.

As Kenshi staggers, he lifts up his arms, shielding himself as Daredevil attacks him with a flurry of punches and kicks.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Kenshi parries a kick from Daredevil before throwing a punch, sending Daredevil reeling.

POW!!!

Kenshi then grips onto Sento and he lunges at Daredevil which whom the latter senses before swerving his body, dodging swing after swing from Kenshi before swinging his leg out, kicking Kenshi across the face.

WHAM!!!

As Kenshi reels from the pain, Daredevil closes in, using his Billy Club to attack Kenshi only for Kenshi to sense his opponent, using Sento to block the blow.

CLANG!!!

Kenshi parries the blow before kicking Daredevil in the shin.

WHAM!!!

Daredevil reels back as Kenshi closes in, cutting into him.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Daredevil: HUARGHHHHH!!!

Daredevil coughs out blood, shaking his head as he compliments Kenshi.

Daredevil: Not bad. You're tougher than you look.

Kenshi: You fight well for a blind man.

Daredevil: I can say the same about you.

Kenshi: But unlike you, my ancestors guide me, they show me what you are gonna do.

Daredevil: But they won't see this.

Daredevil throws one of his sticks to which Kenshi swerve his head, dodging it.

Only for the stick to bounce off a wall and hit Kenshi by the back of his head.

BOK!!!

Kenshi: Ow!

Daredevil catches his stick and he jumps up, only for Kenshi to put out his hand, stopping Daredevil in midair.

WHOM!!!

Daredevil: What?!

Daredevil exclaims out, shocked as Kenshi uses his telekinesis to pull Kenshi closer.

Kenshi: Impressed?

Kenshi then thrusts his arm forward and back, slamming Daredevil on the ground repeatly.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Kenshi then throws Daredevil straight into a trash can.

CLANG!!!

Kenshi holds onto Sento, lunging forward as he prepares to finish off Daredevil.

Daredevil shakes his head and upon hearing Kenshi closing in, Daredevil rolls over, narrowingly dodging a swing from Kenshi.

Kenshi swings Sento, forcing Daredevil to block with his Billy Club.

CLANG!!!

Daredevil fires his grappling hook underneath Kenshi, sliding across the floor which forces Kenshi to jump over him.

Daredevil then bounces off the wall, using his back to slam into Kenshi.

WHAM!!!

Kenshi: ARUAGHHH!!!

The blow sends Kenshi dropping his sword as Daredevil charges forward to attack, pinning Kenshi down as he punches him repeatly.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Though Kenshi is pinned down, he is not yet defeated as Kenshi puts out his hand, using his telekinesis to summon Sento to him.

WHOOSH!!!

Sento began flying straight to Kenshi, as Daredevil narrowingly dodges the sword as it flies past, cutting into his side.

SLASH!!!

Daredevil: Ngn!

Kenshi catches Sento as Daredevil swings his Billy Clubs down, forcing Kenshi to shield himself with his sword.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Daredevil's blows began getting stronger and stronger before the final blow causes the sword to crack.

Daredevil then kicks Kenshi back and he questions.

Daredevil: Do you yield?

Kenshi felt the cracks on Sento and he says.

Kenshi: You broke Sento, you have just made a grave mistake.

Daredevil: What are you...

Before Daredevil could react, something cuts into him, causing him to scream out in pain.

SLASH!!!

Daredevil: ARGHHHHH!!!

Daredevil then felt another cut from behind.

SLASH!!!

Daredevil: ARGHHHHH!!!

Daredevil screams out, bleeding as he swings his Billy Club, only to hit nothing.

Daredevil: What? But how?

Kenshi then explains.

Kenshi: Sento has the spirit of my ancestors. By breaking my sword, you have unleashed their wrath.

Daredevil sprints forward as Kenshi ducks under him, cutting into him.

SLASH!!!

At the same time, the spirit cuts into Daredevil.

SLASH!!!

Kenshi punches Daredevil.

WHAM!!!

The Spirit does the same.

WHAM!!!

Daredevil stumbles as Kenshi and his Spirit began attacking him simultaneously with roundhouse kicks, tossing Daredevil back and forth to each other.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Daredevil stumbles, dazed from the attacks as Kenshi then hits Daredevil with his sword.

SLASH!!!

Kenshi and his spirit switch places while slicing the opponent together.

SLASH!!!

They then impales their swords into Daredevil's body together.

SHOK!!!

The two then removes their sword and they strike the opponent together, hitting him.

POW!!!

Kenshi then goes back to his normal place as Daredevil gets up, bleeding and weakened as the announcer screams out.

Announcer: Finish Him!

Kenshi telekinetically unsheathes Sento, spinning it in a helicopter-like fashion in the air, where he lifts the dazed opponent and slowly moves him into the spinning blade.

Kenshi then began slicing him to tiny pieces before nothing is left.

SHRIPPPPP!!!

As Daredevil is finished, Kenshi retrieves Sento, wiping the blade clean afterwards.

Upon hearing the sound of the cops from a distance, Kenshi quickly runs off, leaving the bloody remains of Daredevil and Kingpin behind.

KO!

Megumi: Man, really wonder how blind people would react to this representation.

Toomi: Both Daredevil and Kenshi are highly skilled in martial arts, having incredible levels of skills in matching fighters in hand to hand combat and wielding weapons and Daredevil's speed and flexibilty certainly gives Kenshi quite a challenge.

Sachi: Including the fact that Daredevil has went up against the likes of The Hulk and though he didn't beat him, he was able to react against him, even defeating Spider-Man and Captain America who are superhuman in strength.

Megumi: Though who's to say Kenshi hasn't done the same thing, having bested Kabal, Tremor, Mileena, Tanya and Baraka.

Toomi: While both men are skilled in bypassing their blindness, their ways of "seeing" is different. Daredevil's sonar senses and hearing gives him a heighten way of sensing Kenshi but Kenshi's ancestors allow him to in a way, see Daredevil as if he has his sight back.

Megumi: And their weapons, a sword vs a stick, yeah, really wonder if that's fair.

Sachi: There is also Kenshi's ancestors that guides him, telling him where Daredevil is and Daredevil cannot sense spirits which puts him at a big disadvantage especially when breaking Sento frees the spirits.

Toomi: While Daredevil's speed, senses and skills certainly gave him an edge in some levels, Kenshi's powers, superior weapon and his spirits guidance is what gives him the victory in the end.

Megumi: Guess this is one blind victory for Kenshi.

Sachi: The winner is Kenshi Takahashi

Kenshi: You show little promise.
