Toomi: In the land of Hyrule there is a legend. Three beings, each representing a goddess, destined to be reincarnated and battle forever. The wise princess, the powerful monster, and the courageous hero, Link.

Sachi: The most recent incarnation of Link descends from a long line of knights, so even before he knew his destiny he was training. This means Link has had quite a lot of training in combat and horsemanship.

Toomi: Eventually, Link drew the Master Sword, the sword that would seal the darkness; revealing that Link was the reincarnation of the Hero.

Megumi: So if all the heroes are named Link, than how did no one figure out that this kid was the chosen one? Or do Hylian parents randomly name their kid Link hoping he becomes the Hero? What if the hero isn't named Link? Is Link just a title given to the hero? I'm so confused.

Toomi: Ahem, getting back on topic. Due to Link being a knight and the fabled hero of legend he became the personal knight and guard for Princess Zelda. He also became the Hylian Champion. The other champions were Daruk, Urbosa, Revali, and Mipha.

Johnny Cage: Dun Dun Dun!

Toomi: Ganon has returned.

Megumi: And this fucker was ready. He turned the Guardians against Hyrule, sent "blights" to kill the Champions, and unleashed a massive amount of monsters.

Sachi: Even Link was overwhelmed and he... well... died. Luckily Zelda had two Sheikah take Link to the shrine of resurrection. She also discovered her magic power. For 100 years she battled Ganon, kept him contained to Hyrule castle, while Link recovered. When Link finally awoke he had no memories.

Toomi: Thanks to guidance of Zelda and her sprit dad, Link learned that he would have to defeat Calamity Ganon and once again help seal the darkness.

Megumi: And to do all of that, Link has a wide variety of weapons to aid him in his quest. One of his best weapon is his Master Sword, aka the Goddess Sword.

Sachi: Crafted by the Goddess Hylia, the Goddess Sword is built to not only be indestructible, but as a weapon to repel evil. It is capable of firing beams and also deflecting light magic.

Megumi: He also has his sword techiniques such as the Upward Thrust. Whenever Link jumps for any reason, he can perform the Upward Thrust Sword Technique which allows him to deal damage to enemies he normally wasn't able to reach. It should be pointed out, he still may not be able to deal damage to enemies way above his jumping height

Shield: Allows Link to take half the normal amount of damage, it costs 16 magic points for Link to cast (Zelda II: The Adventures of Link).

Jump: Allows Link to jump higher than normal and costs 8 magic points for Link to cast (Zelda II: The Adventures of Link).

Life: Allows Link to restore three bars of his health (32 health points total which counts as 25% to his total health) and costs 50 magic points for Link to cast (Zelda II: The Adventures of Link).

Fairy: Transforms Link into a legitimate fairy which allows him to fly into places he normally can't get access too. however, renders him unable to attack nor defend himself while in this form, this cost 40 magic points for Link to cast (Zelda II: The Adventures of Link).

Fire: This spell allows Link to shoot two fireballs at a given moment from the tip of his sword regardless of health and costs 16 magic points to cast (Zelda II: The Adventures of Link),

Reflect: Allows Link to reflect magical projectile attacks with his shield as he can even deal damage to certain wizards by simply reflecting their own magical attacks right back at them. Furthermore, it allows Link's shield the capability to block fireballs, throwing axes, and throwing clubs. This spell costs 16 points for Link to cast (Zelda II: The Adventures of Link).

Spell: A spell simply called spell (yes, this is fact), it allows Link to open the vault that contains the Magical Key. At the right edge of the Hidden Town of Kasuto, if Link casts the spell the vault rises from the ground. This spell is also capable of turning many enemies into Bots. Despite this, more powerful enemies such as the Eagle Knights are immune to its effects. This spell costs 16 points for Link to cast (Zelda II: The Adventures of Link).

Thunder: This spell allows Link to instant-kill many enemies around him, it is also useful for making certain foes like the Thunderbird to be valuable to physical attacks and costs 64 magic points for Link to cast (Zelda II: The Adventures of Link).

Din's Fire: A powerful magical spell, Link must perform a special pose before unleashing a powerful wave of fire that engulfs surrounding enemies in flames (Ocarina of Time).

Farore's Wind: When Link performs a special pose, he will be able to set a point that he could use for fast travel. If he does it again, he could travel to said point or create a new one (Ocarina of Time)

Nayru's Love: When Link performs a special pose, a magical crystalline barrier will surround Link. For a brief period of time, Link will be completely invincible. However, he can still be knocked back by a heavy blow and is unable to use magical items while in use (Ocarina of Time).

Megumi: And Thunder which acts as an instant-kill for Link to eliminate a large number of enemies around him.

Sachi: And Nayru's Love, which forms a magical crystalline barrier around him. For a brief period of time, Link will be completely invincible although he can still be knocked back by heavy blows and he is unable to use magical items while in use.

Toomi: But even with all these weapons and gear Link would've died if he didn't have the skills to wield them.

Megumi: Link can control all of time!

Toomi: No... He can slow down his perception of time such as when he preforms a Perfect Dodge or Perfect Guard. In which he dodges or blocks an attack perfectly. He can than rush in with his weapon and unleash a massive amount of blows with his Flurry Rush.

Sachi: His ability to slow down time also is very useful when it comes to archery, slowing time to a crawl Link can fire multiple arrows in rapid succession.

Toomi: Link was also trained by Sheikah to be stealthy like a ninja. He can sneak up on monsters than deliver a devastating Sneakstrike killing most enemies in one hit.

Megumi: But when Link says "Screw Caution!" he can use a devastating Charge Attack. The Charge Attack is a series of powerful blows in rapid succession, and Link does this by spinning most of the time. How does he not vomit?

Sachi: Link can also use the Champion's signature abilities. Daruk's protection shields Link from damage, Urbosa's Fury electrocutes enemies with lighting, Revali's Gale allows Link to take to the Skies, and Mipha's Grace resurrects and heals Link.

Toomi: Link has accomplished some crazy stuff, he did eventually defeat Ganon. Ganon was so powerful his very awakening shook a continent!

Megumi: Link has defeated dragons, monks, Ganon's blights, giant monsters, and the Yiga clan. Oh and did I mentioned that he even slew a small army of monsters and barely got a scratch! And the little guy is quick too reacting to lighting and lasers. Still Link's best power is his insane durability.

Sachi: Link has survived Lightning strikes, boulders shattering on him, massive explosions, hits from giant beasts, deadly weapons hitting bare skin, catching fire, falling off a mountain, horse kicks, bee swarms, and drawing the Master Sword

Toomi: Not exactly Megumi, despite all of that Link isn't perfect. Everything Link does has a limit. His weapons all have limits and will break. His champions' power? All have time limits. When he preforms excruciating tasks he drains his limited stamina.

Weakness

The majority of Link's powers derives from his magical tools. Without his tools; Link is much less of a threat.

Fighting style is diverse but doesn't specialize on any specific weapon. Link normally combines his swordsmanship with his other tools.

Whenever Link takes a hit that deals damage to him for any reason, he's unable to shoot Sword Beams from his sword until he recovers to full health.

The Hero of Time version of Link in one timeline did suffer a defeat by Ganondorf despite his best efforts to bring him down this resulting in the sealing wars.

Can be instantly killed by his own Cannonball.

Toomi: The Destiny Islands is a pretty peaceful island. Quiet, neat environment and three kids who live there named Riku, Kairi and Sora.

Sachi: The three kids were extremely bored and wanted to visited the world beyond the island so their answer: building a raft with nothing but sticks and sword fought with swords carved from wood and see who would be the leader.

Megumi: But on that same day something happened... Darkness attacked.

Toomi: As a result, Riku was captured by the darkness, Kairi got kidnapped and Sora was the only one to stop the darkness and save his friends. But upon being in the darkness a weapon of pure light chose Sora as it's wielder, and this weapon... was a Keyblade.

Sachi: Anyway, after stumbling upon the world of Traverse Town, Sora meets Disney Mascots: Donald And Goofy who were looking for the king Mickey Mouse who disappeared and so their quest began and succeeded after recusing Riku and making him a keyblade wielder to protect the light from the darkness and ... Well... Still finding out what happened to Kairi, still continuing their journey.

Megumi: Hey! not a bad and confusing start unlike Final Fantasy.

Toomi: Upon their journey Sora has obtained many different types of magic like Firaga, where he fires a ball of fire, Blizzaga, where he can shoot a ice projectile and Thundaga where he shoots bolts of lighting at foes, it can also hit multiple enemies at once, but this isn't all of Sora's magic.

Megumi: He can heal himself with Curaga, stop time completely with Stopga, control gravity with Graviga, reflect attacks with Reflega or Aeroga, make opponents go to sleep with Sleep and shrink enemies with Mini. He can also use Sonic Impact it's sort of like a dash, He can also Glide.

Sachi: He can also control the environment around him with Flowmotion, by being surrounded by a pink aura this helps Sora hop from wall to wall, grind on rails and creates devastating moves with the environment around him like Wheel Rush, Kick Dive, Buzz-Saw, Sliding Dive, Shock Dive And Blow-Off.

Toomi: He can also use his Keyblade which is a blade with no edges but it can impale and he can use it to throw it around like a boomerang with Strike Raid, he can also use his magic with it and if the Keyblade gets lost or stolen it can appear in Sora's hand since Sora is it's wielder.

Megumi: Jokes aside, I wish my keys could never get lost or stolen and can appear in my hand whenever I need it.

Deep in the dark dimension, Sora walks along a long empty hallway accompanied by his allies, Donald Duck and Goofy.

Feeling rather uncertain, Goofy questions Sora.

Goofy: Gwash! What are we doin' here Sora?

Donald: Yeah Sora,

Donald agrees.

Donald: You have been acting a little strange ever since you defeated that kid with the wings. Where are you bringing us?

Sora smiles as he answers.

Sora: You will see.

The trio steps out of the hallway and what they saw causes their eyes to widen in intrigue.

Sora: We're here.

Goofy: Whoa!

The trio stares at a massive portal flowing in the middle of the dark dimensional barrier, watching at the worm hole's swirling motion.

Dumbfounded, Donald questions Sora.

Donald: What is that?

Sora smiles as he answers the duck's question.

Sora: That...is a dimensional portal. With that, we can go anywhere beyond the realms!

Rather uncertain, Goofy questions Sora.

Goofy: Guh-gwash Sora, are you sure it's safe?

Sora: Of course Goofy, I mean, what could possibly go wrong?

How wrong he was.

Right at that moment, the portal releases a flash, shocking the trio.

Sora: Wait...what the?!

Sora, Goofy and Donald looks at the portal, their eyes widens as a tall figure cladded in green rose from the ground.

The figure stood tall, armed with a shield and a sword along with a green hat over his long golden hair.

The boy is no other that Link, the hero of Hyrule.

But what caught Sora's attention the most is the presence of Link's elf-like ears.

Curious, Sora questions the newcomer.

Sora: Um...who are you?

However, instead of replying the hero's question, Link looks up and he scrowls at him.

Link: You...you must be working for Ganon!

Sora: Wait...who's...

Link: Doesn't matter! Draw your weapon and fight!

Sora raises up his Keyblade, blocking the blow with his weapon before taking a swing at the elf.

Link ducks his head back, dodging the attack before swinging his Goddess Sword right at Sora, forcing the boy onto the defensive.

Sora thrusts his Keyblade forward, only for Link to shift his body to the side.

Link: YAAAHHHHH!!!

Link screams out just as he thrusts his leg outwards, striking hard into Sora's body.

Link screams out just as he launches himself upwards, cutting into Sora.

Link launches himself downwards, pointing his bow at Sora before releasing his grip, sending several arrows down towards him.

Sora swings his Keyblade across, deflecting the Light Arrows with a single swing.

Sora then swings his Keyblade upwards, screaming out.

Sora: Valor Form!

Sora opens up his palms just as a second Keyblade forms within it.

The young hero lunges up into the air, swinging both Keyblades down onto Link.

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Link thrusts his sword out, forcing Sora to raise up his Keyblade, blocking the attack.

CLANK!!!

Sora: Fireagra!

Sora screams out, launching a powerful stream of fire right onto Link.

FWOOSH!!!

Link: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Link screams out as the flames sends him tumbling back.

Sora looks down, watching just as Link swings his sword outwards, launching a burst of fire right at him.

Sora: Blizzaga!!!

SHING!!!

Almost immediately, a burst of ice escapes from Sora's Keyblade, instantly neutralizing the fire.

Link narrows his eyes just as Sora points his Keyblade at him, screaming out.

Sora: Firagra!!!

Just as a scorching stream of fire blazes towards him, Link raises up his shield, protecting himself from harm's way.

As the flames dies down, Link raises up his sword, screaming out.

Link: Thunder!

CRACK!!! BOOM!!!

Sora: What?!

Sora looks around, his eyes widens in horror just as a powerful explosions of lightning crackles across the area.

CRACK!!! BOOM!!!

Sora: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Sora screams out just as the explosion sends him flying backwards.

Link pulls out his bow, pointing it at Sora before launching several arrows at him.

Twip! Twip! Twip!

SHOK!!!

Sora's eyes widens in agony as he felt the arrows piercing through his body, causing him to fall onto the ground.

Thud!

Link narrows his eyes, his mouth twists into a smirk just as he races towards Sora.

However, Sora pushes himself up, screaming out.

Sora: Cure!

Almost immediately, Sora's entire body began glowing, engulfing itself in a flash of light.

FLASH!!!

As the light slowly dims, Sora felt himself feeling refreshed, his wounds instantly healing from the injuries he sustained.

Just as Link closes in, Sora ducks down, swinging one of his Keyblade across his face.

SLASH!!!

Link: Ngn!

Sora then swings both Keyblades at him, cutting into the elf hero of Hyrule.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Right at the last moment, Sora thrusts one of his Keyblade forward, shoving it right into Link.

Link: HUARGHHHH!!!

Link coughs out in agony, feeling the blade going through his chest.

Sora: Thundaga!

Sora then points his Keyblade forward, sending a powerful crackles of lightning right onto Link.

CRACK!!! BOOM!!!

Link: WAHHHHHHHH!!!

Link screams out in agony as the projectile sends him flying backwards, crashing into a pillar.

CRASH!!!

Feeling triumphant, Sora jumps up, cheering to himself.

Sora: Alright! I did it!

However, the fight is still far from over.

Link: SCREW CAUTION!!!

Before Sora could even react, he felt a strong powerful force of magic slam into him.

SHOOM!!!

Sora: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Link swings his sword across, instantly creating a crystalline barrier around his body.

SHING!!!

Just as Sora pushes himself up, all of a sudden, everything suddenly slows down around him.

Link throws both his boomerang and his axe across, slamming them right into Sora.

SHOK!!! SHOK!!!

Link then races forward, screaming out.

Link: This ends now! Flurry Rush!!!

However, right at that moment...

SHOOM!!!

Link: What?!

Link widens his eyes in shock, finding himself frozen in place.

The Elf looks forward, finding himself staring at Sora.

Sora: You're strong, and you're right. This ends now! Stopga!

SHOOM!!!

Almost immediately, everything froze right in it's place, causing time around Sora to stop.

WHOOM!!!

Sora immediately disappears, reappearing right in front of Link before screaming out.

Sora: Strike Raid!

Sora then swings his Keyblade across, cutting deep into Link repeatly.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

SPLURCH!!!

Link's entire body instantly exploded into pieces of blood and gore, before Sora raises up his Keyblade, causing a powerful sphere of magic to flow around it.

Sora: RAGNAROK!!!

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!

Sora swings his Keyblade across, cutting the pieces of Link down even further before thrusting his Keyblade upwards, sending a powerful blast of magic right onto the pieces of flesh that used to be Link.

PIU!!!

The magic blast struck right into Link, causing every part of the elf to explode in a flash of light.

KABOOM!!!

Right at that moment, everything around Sora began to resume, right back onto track. causing the flaming remains of Link to drop onto the floor.

CRACKLE!!!

As Sora stares at the remains, suddenly, he heard Donald's familiar gurgled up voice calling out to him.

Donald: Sora!

Sora: Donald?

Sora turns back, watching just as Donald and Goofy steps towards him.

As Goofy stares at the scorched remains of Link, the dog remarks.

Goofy: Guh-Gwash Sora! You did it.

Sora rubs the back of his head sheepishly, chuckling out.

Sora: Heh heh, yeah. I did.

Donald then turns to face the portal, urging his friends towards it.

Donald: Well come on, we've got a lot to see don't we? Let's go!

Both Sora and Goofy smiles just as the two follows Donald into the portal, disappearing into the worm hole just as the Goddess Sword falls from the sky, landing on the pile of ashes with a loud thud.

Megumi: That... was pure art.

Toomi: While Link was more experienced and strategic, Sora had him beaten in every other category.

Sachi: That's right. Link may be fast enough to reflect Ganon's balls of light and STRONG enough to lift colossal granite pillars, but Sora's done something more impressive. Deflected hundreds of lightsabers and sliced up buildings.

Megumi: Link's taken on some impressive threats such as Demise and Majora, who threatened the world, but Sora's taken down more, tougher, bigger threats.... Like Ansem, the man who threatened the galaxy as a whole.

Toomi: While Link's arsenal COULD counter a lot of things Sora could dish out, it's no secret Sora's superior hax kept him on his toes. He could restore his life mid-fight, shrink Link into nothingness, or just use Magnega to make Link's arsenal worth shit!

Sachi: Even the powerups, Link's greatest weapons, each bore some sort of weakness. Most are easily breakable and his powerups also have limits. And Link's greatest weapon, wasn't much when compared to Sora's haxy magic techniques, speed, and the Limit Form.

Megumi: Link just couldn't Master Sora in Time. Sora's abilities were Key to defeat light's green swordsman.

Sachi: The winner is Sora

Sora: You're wrong. I know now, without a doubt, Kingdom Hearts... is light!
