Megumi: And these two are named after a God of Thunder. She's Sachi, Toomi and I'm Megumi

Sachi: And it's our job to analyse their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle

Toomi: Born in Liberia, a young boy named Jack lost his parents and was adopted by George Sears, the future president of the United States.

Megumi: Which sounds like a pretty good upside considering, except Sears was actually Solidus Snake, a traitor who manipulated the world leaders to profit from the war economy. Oh, and the fact that he killed Jack's parents!

Sachi: Being the perfect parent he is, Solidus enlisted Jack in the Liberian Civil War, where he became captain of his own commando unit in the Army of the Devil.

Toomi: A natural harbinger of death, Jack's high kill count earned him the nickname "Jack the Ripper." He accomplished all of this, and he was only ten years old. After being abandoned by Solidus, Jack fell for a girl named Rose and eventually got her pregnant.

Megumi: Jack was tormented by his past life and sought to right his wrongs by joining a special task force. With them, he teamed up with the legendary Solid Snake to take down some bad guys, destroy giant robots, go streaking, and even kill dear old foster dad. All under his awesome new codename, Raiden.

Toomi: Except, all along, he was actually being controlled by the Patriots, a secret organization manipulating the U.S. from behind the scenes and bent on dominating the world.

Megumi: Yeah, okay, hang on to your butts because this is where things start getting out of hand. See his girlfriend, Rose, was actually a Patriot spy and was manipulating his life the entire time they were together. But she was all like, "my bad, I love you!" and he was like, "it's okay, let me put my dick in you!" and then they had a kid.

Sachi: And as a result, Jack was captured and augmented into a cyborg ninja by the Patriots themselves, but he remains siding with an aged Solid Snake in MGS4 and defeating Vamp, his nemesis. Jack later accompanied Snake to the very end where he reconciled with Rose.

Toomi: Later on, after the Patriots disbanded and cyberneticized PMCs are in high demand as splinter groups in MGR:R, Jack became a member of Maverick Security Counseling Inc, where he, after struggling with himself for so long, accepts his old self and eventually wins over World Marshall and Desperado Enforcement LLC, but resigns from Maverick in the process, having since then become independent after MGR:R.

Megumi: Alright alright, can we start talking about killing people now?

Toomi: Yeah sure, as a cyborg, Raiden went from a force to be reckoned with to a nigh unstoppable killing machine. He is fast enough to outrun bullet trains and even run on walls.

Sachi: Raiden is strong enough to lift and throw a Metal Gear RAY. While a RAY's exact weight is unknown, when compared to a Metal Gear REX which weighs 557 tons, we can estimate it's weight to be over 1,000 tons.

Megumi: And that wasn't even his final form!

Toomi: Right, Raiden eventually got a newer, better cyborg body which was even more powerful.

Megumi: Strong enough to flip a Metal Gear EXCELSUS, rip off its building-sized sword and then fight a duel with it. And finish it off at blinding speed! I mean what in the actual Hell?!

Toomi: When he's not wielding building-sized blades, Raiden wields a high-frequency blade called the Murasama. Originally forged in the 16th century, the Murasama was re-outfitted with high-frequency technology. By creating a powerful current through the blade that vibrates at intense speeds, it weakens its target's molecular bonds, forcibly slicing through almost anything.

Megumi: Even with his original high-frequency blade, Raiden could cut through massive Metal Gears like tissue paper!

Sachi: And, of note, those Metal Gears were not made of ordinary steel, but carbon nanotubes, one of the strongest materials known to man. The bonds between carbon atoms are incredibly strong, which means that the tensile strength of carbon nanotubes is greater than even the toughest metals, like titanium. Using the high end of potential sheer strengths, slicing clean through a building size Metal Gear RAY would require an energy equivalent to, at most, 100 kilotons of TNT.

Megumi: Raiden spent years fighting for justice and denying who he really was inside. And it took his battles with to finally realize it. He's a killer, plain and simple, and he lives to test his skills against others.

Sachi: He can take this a step further by deactivating his pain inhibitors. Allowing intense agony from wounds to envelop his senses causes him to lose himself in his old Jack the Ripper personality. This "Ripper Mode" radically boosts his already insane speed and strength.

Toomi: However, Raiden can only carry enough fuel to sustain these modes for a very limited time, and relies on absorbing more fuel cell electrolytes from enemy cyborgs.

Sachi: Plus his blood is not natural, and must be changed regularly, like the oil in a car.

Megumi: Which doesn't help that his enhanced modes rely on a fuel supply, and using them burns through it at a rapid pace.

Toomi: In the universe of Mortal Kombat there is an endless struggle of power and conquest between Outworld and Earthrealm

Megumi: With a few other realms included but who cares about them!

Toomi: With Earth and the other realms being under the chance of constant invasion, the Elder Gods created the Mortal Kombat tournament to give the other realms a chance to defend themselves

Megumi: And what better chance do a bunch of humans get other than having a Thunder God on your side, no I'm not talking to you Thor. I'm talking about the other Thunder God, Raijin or in the game, Raiden.

Sachi: According to Japanese legend, Raiden is the god of thunder and storms who, when angered, devours the stomachs of children as they sleep.

Megumi: But guess he must have had his fill of children stomachs cause he became one of the good guys and acting as the defenders of the realm.

Toomi: Raiden was not always the wise, experienced protector of earth that we know him as. There was a time when he was simply just another guardian that dedicated their lives to stopping Shinnok from ruling over all the realms. With the aid of the other Elder Gods, Raiden managed to defeat Shinnok and was granted the title of Thunder God as a reward.

Megumi: While he was temporarily granted the title of Elder God, he relinquished it because it wouldn't allow him to actively guard Earthrealm from other cosmic threats like Shao Kahn or Havik. So he became mortal while still retaining his godly powers. And good thing too because otherwise I think we'd have a much different outcome on our hands.

Sachi: The technical term is Demigod, where he and Fujin basically acted as Earthrealm's defender, helping Shaolins Liu Kang and Kung Lao gather fighters to acts as the defenders of the realm.

Toomi: With fighters including Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Jax Briggs, Nightwolf, Kenshi, Stryker and Kabal along with help from Outworlders like Kitana, Jade or even Lin Kueis like Sub-Zero and Smoke, they managed to defeat Outworld in the Mortal Kombat Tournament.

Megumi: Though the victory was short lived and being the massive prick he is, Shao Kahn invaded Earthrealm any way, causing the deaths of most of the Earthrealm defenders in the process.

Sachi: But luckily, Raiden managed to reverse time, tried to change the outcome which causes the deaths of many of the Earthrealm defenders though he killed Shao Kahn and saved the realm in the end.

Megumi: Until the return of Shinnok and then his sister and his mother, Cetrion and Kronika attempted to undo everything and he fused into Liu Kang, turning him into Fire God Liu Kang, turning him human where he swore to train the new God until his eventual death.

Toomi: Raiden's entire form is composed of ethereal energy, which grants him complete control over his own molecules, as well as the entire electric spectrum. He can call upon his own godly energy or harness natural lightning to perform truly stunning feats like channeling electricity through wood, teleport across the battlefield, flight and is described as having near unlimited endurance.

Megumi: His godly essence is so powerful that at one point when the Dragon King, Onaga, was resurrected, he went kamikaze and blew up the entire structure he was in.

Sachi: Raiden incorporates his godly powers into his unique fighting style to create a deadly mix of close quarters and zoning attacks to keep his foes off guard. Often attacking from multiple directions at once using his teleportation, flight and ranged attacks to deliver precise and deadly blows that can even stun the likes of Motaro. Or send him crashing through solid concrete with one of his most notable moves, the Electric Fly.

Megumi: He also can teleport through different dimensions for travel and also to dodge attacks, expert in every known martial arts and even can move faster than light.

Toomi: Being an actual God also grands Raiden the title as the most powerful Kombatant in the Mortal Kombat series, having power that exceeds literally most characters in the series, besting the likes of Shang Tsung, Scorpion, Kitana, Sindel, Smoke, Shao Kahn, Quan Chi and Shinnok.

Sachi: In fact, during said fight with Shinnok, Raiden's battle wiped out nearly all life on Earth. And when he fought Shao Kahn even with his powers restricted, he is still capable of shaking the entire planet Earth itself.

Megumi: And like Superman, he even saved a plane by simply catching it and just carrying it off with ease.

Megumi: I repeat the same thing that I say every time we get to this part of the show: How the hell does this guy ever lose?

Toomi: Context is important Much of Raidens godly power is sealed as long as he takes a mortal form, which he is required to do when he comes to earth. Though this does make him immortal and his soul is relatively protected from beings like Shang Tsung and Kronika, he can still be defeated and his essence drained from constant abuse.

Sachi: And plus being an elemental God means that he gets his powers in Earthrealm but in Outworld or in the Nethrealm where Earth's elements are absent, Raiden is much weaker and in some series, powerless.

Megumi: Not to mention how he literally caused the deaths of many, even killing Liu Kang in the hopes of saving Earthrealm.

Megumi: But like the wise leader Raiden is, he's grown to learn from his past mistakes, and his immense power is only overshadowed by his will to win and endurance to keep fighting for the world he loves. Even at his weakest, the brother of Fujin can always be relied upon when danger lurks from the other side. He is after all the one and true God of Thunder.

Perching on the top of a burning city, Raiden, the Cyborg Ninja of Metal Gear looks around, staring at the burning inferno

Just then, he notices a flash of lightning followed by the sound of thunder from a distance.

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

Raiden narrows his eye and he leaps across the buildings to investigate.

Raiden halts at the roof of a building, noticing a Metal Gear trudging along the streets.

As the cyborg leaps off, preparing to attack, right at that moment, there was a blast of lightning, startling him.

Raiden: What?!

BZZZZTTTTT!!!

Raiden narrowly dodged the blast as the process causes the Metal Gear to go off in an explosion.

KABOOM!!!

Raiden looks up, seeing a tall figure cladded in a white and blue Japanese garb along with a straw hat on the top of his head.

Raiden: You, who are you?

The stranger looks up, electricity crackling from his eyes as he introduces himself.

Raiden: Greetings, I am Lord Raiden, God of Thunder. I have come from a land far from here.

However, Raiden isn't very hospitable as he says to the Thunder God.

Raiden: Nice try but you're not fooling anyone.

Raiden: Please, I do not wish you any harm.

Raiden: Quit with that facade of yours, you're going down!

Raiden: Looks like I have no choice then.

Both Raiden and Raiden faces off, preparing to fight as Raiden draws his Mursama blade while Raiden raises up his hands in a fighting stance.

BZZZZTTT!!!

Electricity cackles around the two as both Cyborg Ninja and Thunder God prepares to fight.

Raiden sprints forward, dashing at supernatural speed before swinging his katana to which Raiden swerves his body, dodging the blade.

Raiden's hand crackle with electricity just as Raiden swings his sword, both sword and electricity clashes into each other.

BZZZTTTT!!!

As both Raiden and Raiden were briefly knocked back by the impact, Raiden brandishes his handgun before opening fire at the Thunder God.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

BZZZTTTTT!!!

Raiden creates a forcefield with lightning, shielding himself from the onslaught of bullets just as the cyborg sprints forward, preparing to strike.

Raiden: HUARGHHHH!!!

However, just as the cyborg swings his blade down, the Thunder God teleports himself to safety, narrowingly dodging the attack from Raiden.

Raiden: What?!

Right at that moment, Raiden reappears before Raiden before flying forward, slamming square into his torso.

Raiden: ARYEMYBABAY!!!

POW!!!

Raiden flies across the streets before slamming Raiden hard on the wall.

CRASH!!!

Raiden then puts his hands out, firing a blast of lightning at the cyborg.

BZZZZTTTT!!!

Raiden raises up his sword, blocking the blast before dashing forward, delivering a hard knee into Raiden's chin.

WHAM!!!

Raiden: ARGHHHHH!!!

Just as the Thunder God drops onto the floor, Raiden leaps up, stopping up on the wall of a building before pulling out his gun once more, opening fire at the Thunder God.

BANG!!! BANG!!! BANG!!!

Raiden pushes himself up before dashing across the street, dodging the barrage of bullets shot down before leaping upwards, hot in pursuit.

Raiden charges up a blast of lightning as he closes in, only for the cyborg to leap over him, dodging just as the Thunder God fires, causing the building Raiden was standing on to go off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!

As debris began raining down from the sky, both Raiden and Raiden leaps across the falling debris, throwing debris at each other.

Raiden jumps up and he throws a kick, sending a fall debris flying upwards only for the cyborg to destroy it with a single slash.

CRUNCH!!!

Raiden leaps down, cutting straight into the Thunder God.

SLASH!!!

Raiden: ARGHHHHH!!!

Raiden's eyes glows red as he began slashing the Thunder God at rapid succession.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Just as Raiden swings his blade in order to cut Raiden once more, the Thunder God erupts in an explosion of electricity, parrying the cyborg's attack.

BZZZTTTT!!!

Just as the cyborg is sent falling, the Thunder God leaps down, attacking him with a flurry of kicks and punches.

WHAM!!! BAM!!! POW!!!

Raiden then grabs Raiden before throwing him hard into a car.

CRASH!!!

The cyborg grits his teeth as the impact sends him screeching across the floor.

Raiden reappears in front of Raiden as he orders.

Raiden: Stand down!

Raiden: Go to hell!

Raiden pushes himself up only for the Thunder God to fire a blast of lightning down onto him, electrocuting the cyborg.

BZZZZZTTTT!!!

Raiden: ARGHHHHH!!!

Raiden screams out in agony as he feels a powerful surge of electrical energy surging through him.

Raiden then stops as he stares down as the cyborg, saying to him.

Raiden: Had enough?

Raiden pushes himself up, panting as the Thunder God says to him.

Raiden: You don't have to do this. Stand down.

Raiden then says to the Thunder God.

Raiden: Sorry, but...

Raiden suddenly pulls out a grenade before declaring out.

Raiden: You're gonna wish you never step foot here.

Raiden pulls out the grenade before throwing it on the floor, creating an explosion.

KABOOM!!!

The explosion sends both the cyborg and Thunder God flying with the latter crashing through a building.

CRASH!!!

Meanwhile, a Metal Gear notices Raiden flying before pointing it's cannons, opening fire at him.

THOOM!!!

Raiden spins in the air, deflecting the projectile before swinging his sword across, destroying the Metal Gear with a single slash.

SLASH!!!

As the Metal Gear drops onto the floor, Raiden grabs onto the robot's circuits before using it's energy to charge himself up, the action healing every damage sustained from fighting the Thunder God.

Raiden looks, noticing Raiden flying towards him as the Thunder God asks.

Raiden: What drives you mortal? Why are you insistent on fighting?

Raiden: This world, doesn't deserve the likes of you. Gods are no different from politicians.

Raiden spat, the words stirring something in the Thunder God as he says.

Raiden: Since you insist on fighting.

BZZZTTTT!!!

Raiden conjures a staff out of lightning and he points it at the cyborg, declaring out.

Raiden: We shall settle this feud through Mortal Kombat.

Both Raiden and Raiden charges towards each other before swinging their weapons, both staff and sword clashing into each other.

CLANG!!!

CLANG!!! CLANG!!! CLANG!!!

Both fighters move at lightning quick speed, neither relenting as they continue to exchange blows amongst themselves.

Raiden back flips just as Raiden swings his staff out, prompting him to pull out his hand gun, opening fire at the Thunder God.

BANG!!!

The bullet however, simply bounces off Raiden's skin as the Thunder God teleports himself away.

WHOOM!!!

Raiden reappears behind Raiden, attempting to swing his staff only for Raiden to swing his sword outward.

SLASH!!!

The vibrating qualities within the blade instantly splits the staff apart, shocking Raiden just as the cyborg delivers a hard kick into his face.

WHAM!!!

Raiden: ARGHHHHH!!!

Raiden stumbles back, looking up just as Raiden prepares to strike him down.

Raiden however, swerves his body to the side, dodging Raiden's attack before simply moving one hand around, parrying blow after blow from the cyborg.

As Raiden screams out in agony, Raiden conjures up another staff before impaling it right into Raiden.

SHOK!!!

Blood drips from his wounds as the cyborg drops onto the floor as the Thunder God put his hand out.

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

A crack of lightning follows by the sound of thunder as a powerful blast of lightning stuck down onto the bleeding cyborg, causing him to scream out in agony.

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

Raiden: ARGHHHHHH!!!

Although heavily wounded, the sheer agony causes Raiden to feel a rush going through him as he mutters.

Raiden: Pain. This is why I fight!

Raiden punches the Thunder God hard in the face, causing him to stumble back

POW!!!

As Raiden stumbles back, Raiden pulls the staff out of his body before swinging it across, striking the Thunder God across the face.

WHACK!!!

The blow immediately cues a Mortal Kombat X-Ray of Raiden's jaw dislocating from the blow before the latter drops onto the floor.

Now in his Ripper Mode, Raiden cackles out.

Raiden: Hahaha! It's time for Jack the Ripper, to let 'er rip!

Raiden began moving fast, insanely fast as he began slicing up the Thunder God at rapid succession.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!! SLASH!!!

Raiden fires a blast of lightning at the cyborg who simply runs through the agonizing pain just to deliver a downward slash across the Thunder God's body.

SLASH!!!

Raiden: ARGHHHHH!!!

As Raiden is sent flying, the cyborg then activates his Zemdatsu, causing his perception of time to slow as he began cutting up the Thunder God.

SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!! SLASH!!!

Raiden: This time, you're going down!

Raiden swings his sword across, preparing to finish off Raiden when right at that moment.

CRACK!!! THOOM!!!

A powerful shot of lightning erupts from Raiden, shocking the cyborg.

Raiden: What?!

Before the cyborg could react, the Thunder God thrusts his hand out, with a single tap of his palm, he shot a powerful blast of electricity across Raiden's body.

BZZZTTTT!!!

Raiden: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Raiden screams out in agony as he was sent crashing into a truck.

CRASH!!!

As Raiden picks himself up, he looks up, noticing something different about his opponent.

Raiden is now fully enveloped in electricity, flowing with a powerful surge of electrical current.

But what caught his eyes is the sight of the Thunder God's wounds closing, the sudden surge of power healing Raiden as it does empowering him

Raiden stares at the cyborg, electricity crackles in his eyes as he says.

Raiden: You shall feel the wrath of the Elder Gods.

Raiden charges up a blast of lightning, launching it right at Raiden.

The blast of electricity struck onto Raiden's hand, knocking his Mursama blade out of his hand.

As Raiden stood crackling with electricity, Raiden grabs a nearby debris and dashes forward, smashing it across Raiden's cheek.

But to no avail as Raiden stood unfazed by the attack.

Raiden throws his leg out, kicking Raiden to the side but to no effect.

WHAM!!!

Raiden then throws a punch, striking the Thunder God hard in the chest.

POW!!!

Raiden doesn't flinches.

Raiden: What?!

Shocked and frustrated, Raiden punches Raiden again.

WHAM!!!

But the attack was not very effective.

Raiden punches Raiden repeatly, noticing electricity crackling over his fists but the Thunder God having no visible damage on his body

Raiden grits his teeth, charging up his fists as he began punching Raiden rapidly who is barely flinching from his blows.

A powerful explosion of lightning cracks onto the ground, creating a massive explosion.

Raiden was sent flying up into the air as Raiden flies upward, slamming him upwards before throwing him down through a building.

Raiden then follows after him, leaping up into the air, before slamming square into his chest.

Raiden back flips in the air as the cyborg drops onto the floor.

Smirking, Raiden retrieves his weapon, his eyes glowing in his Ripper Mode as he agrees.

Raiden: Yes. Let's go. Mano to mano.

Both cyborg and Thunder God faces off before lunging forward, crackling with electricity before the ground beneath goes off in a massive explosion.

THOOM!!!

Electricity sparks across the floor as both Raiden and Raiden exchange blows amongst themselves.

Raiden swings his sword across Raiden.

SLASH!!!

Raiden delivers a roundhouse kick across Raiden's face.

WHAM!!!

Raiden crouches down before launching himself upwards, striking Raiden in the chin with his knee.

BAM!!!

Raiden teleports behind Raiden before striking him in the back.

POW!!!

Raiden grabs a mechanical leg from a Metal Gear before slamming it on top of Raiden.

CRASH!!!

Raiden fires a blast of lightning, sending Raiden flying backwards.

Raiden and Raiden charges forward before the cyborg drove his blade deep into the God's chest.

Although coughing blood, Raiden grabs the cyborg by the shoulder before firing a charge of electricity, electrocuting him.

While he is electrocuted, Raiden kept pulling and shoving the blade into Raiden's body, impaling him repeatly.

Blood and electricity rain across the floor as neither are willing to surrender.

Raiden then grabs onto the Thunder God before slamming him on the head with a headbutt.

WHAM!!!

Raiden however, crouches down before delivering a hard uppercut, sending the cyborg ninja flying.

The Thunder God jumps up, delivering a hard kick into the cyborg while in midair.

WHAM!!!

The cyborg however, lands feet first before lunging downwards, headbutting the Thunder God.

WHAM!!!

As Raiden staggers, Raiden launches himself forward, cutting into him.

SLASH!!!

Blood pours from the Thunder God's wounds as he turns around, electricity sparking in his eyes.

Raiden although bleeding and feeling his energy draining, isn't willing to give up.

With one final burst of energy, the cyborg bounces back, spinning in the air before swinging his sword out, preparing to slice the Thunder God's neck off.

However, right at that moment, Raiden summons his staff before swinging it out, striking Raiden across the cheek.

CLANG!!!

Just as Raiden drops down, Raiden began swinging his staff across, striking the cyborg repeatly before striking him hard across the cheek.

CLANG!!!

Raiden then teleports himself above the cyborg before throwing the staff downwards, striking hard into his forehead.

SHOK!!!

The impact sends Raiden bouncing upwards as the Thunder God teleports beneath him before swinging his staff upwards, impaling the cyborg through his back.

SHOK!!!

Raiden: ARGHHHHHHH!!!

Raiden screams out in agony as the last blow causes his pain receptors to reactivate, sending him in a spiralling state of agony.

With the cyborg weakened, Raiden has one more thing to do.

Announcer: Finish him!

While the cyborg screams out in agony, Raiden slams his hands together, congesting the cyborg's parts together before the Thunder God charges up one blast of electricity, firing it right onto Raiden, causing his body to go off in an explosion.

Sparking electricity and blood, the cyborg drops onto the floor, dying.

Looking around at the city now in complete ruins, Raiden shakes his head as he mutters to himself.

Raiden then looks down, noticing Raiden barely alive coughing out.

Raiden: You!

Raiden holds up the dying cyborg, horror fixed upon his face as he exclaims out.

Raiden: It is not meant to be!

Raiden: No...

Raiden held Raiden's hand as he coughs out.

Raiden: At the price of my life, you have...save us all.

Raiden looks around, realisation dawns as he remembers the powerful explosion caused has destroyed the Metal Gears and the Revenants, which at the cost of the city and Raiden, has saved the rest of the planet.

The Thunder God looks down at the dying cyborg says to him with his last dying breath.

Raiden: Th...thank you...

Raiden watches as a red and yellow suited figure emerges, calling out to him.

???: R...Raiden!

Raiden widens his eyes and he exclaims out.

Raiden: I know you, I have seen you before. You are the one known as The Flash

The Flash then says to him.

Flash: Listen to me now! I just came from my fight against a guy who calls himself Hit who isn't from my world.

Raiden holds up the corpse of Raiden and he says.

Raiden: My opponent wasn't from my world either.

Flash: Listen, I don't have much time! You must go to this place!

Flash hands Raiden a piece of paper and as the fabric of reality began pulling him back, he screams out.

Flash: This place...it's the key!

Raiden stares at it as he watches the Flash screams out.

Flash: Find us Raiden! You have to find us!

WHOOM!!!

The portal closes as The Flash was pulled back, leaving behind a flabbergasted Raiden.

Raiden ponders as he shot a blast of lightning on the ground.

Raiden then drops the dead cyborg in the make shift hole before covering it up with dirt, giving his opponent a makeshift burial as he stood there, mourning.

Raiden then holds up the paper, looking up in the sky as he realises what he must do.

Liu Kang then transforms himself into a dragon before opening his jaws, biting down onto Jago's upper half before devouring it completely.

The dragon reverts back into Liu Kang as Liu Kang faces the audience, bowing as the announcer concludes the fight.

However, right after Liu Kang finished his battle, he heard a loud sound of thunder.

Liu Kang turned, his eyes widens in surprise upon the sight of a familiar face

Liu Kang: Raiden.

Raiden: Liu Kang, good to see you.

Raiden stares at the half of what used to be Jago before he says to the Shaolin Monk.

Raiden: I see you have emerged victorious in Mortal Kombat.

Liu Kang: Yes Lord Raiden though I get the feeling this is not why you are here.

Raiden then began explaining to Liu Kang.

Raiden: There are outer forces at work that have been forcing us into battle, fighting against enemies from other worlds.

Raiden puts his hands out, using his lightning to show Liu Kang several projections, one of Sub-Zero fighting Batman, another of Cassie Cage fighting Catwoman, along with one of Jade fighting Cammy and even one of Noob Saibot battling Reaper.

Raiden: So far out of everyone we known, including the two of us, Cassandra Cage, Sub-Zero, Jade, Noob Saibot have won their battles.

Liu Kang: Are there anyone else?

Raiden: I have visions of Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Kotal Kahn and Stryker as well but they have perished in battle.

Liu Kang then questions.

Liu Kang: How did you know this Lord Raiden.

Raiden: One of them, The Flash, broke through the fabric of reality to give me this. Saying we must go to this place.

Raiden then hands him a piece of paper and he instructs Liu Kang, go to this location first.

Raiden: There is something I must do, I will rendezvous with you once I'm done.

Liu Kang: I shall leave at once Lord Raiden.

Both Liu Kang and Raiden bows to each other before Liu Kang turns around, walking away as Raiden disappears in a burst of lightning.

The gang hears a whistle from outside, which proves to be D.W., who is now a police officer, accosting a motorcyclist who has parked in a no-parking zone.

Unexpectedly, he turns out to be her old friend, Bud, whom she greets warmly while dutifully writing him out a ticket.

They then come inside, where Arthur shows off what he's been working on: a graphic novel based on his childhood. Having been inspired to enter the field by the book he received by accident, he begins to read it to everyone, beginning with how he got his glasses...

Someone is then shown walking with three keychains attached to their bag.

A reporter is reporting from a TV located outside.

Reporter: Today marks the 10-year anniversary of the event we've come to know as "Frogvasion". But the real question remains: Was it all a hoax?

The gates open, and it is shown that the person is an adult Marcy, who is looking at her phone. Immediately, she looks around.

Marcy upon seeing Sasha, gasps and waves to her: Sasha!

Standing in front of her car is an adult Sasha who greets her back

Sasha: Marce!

Marcy runs up to her but trips, falls, and immediately stands up saying

Marcy: I'm okay.

The two were then driving as Sasha asks

Sasha: Gosh, it's been a minute. How's the flight?

Marcy: Pretty good! Can you believe it's been 10 years?

Sasha: Crazy, right? So, what have you been up to? Still doing that web comic? I read a few chapters, it's awesome.

Marcy: Tch, aww, thanks. It's doing pretty well online. And how about you? Psych degree come in handy?

Sasha: Yup. I really like working with the kids. Helping them overcome their emotional baggage. I have a lot of experience.

A car suddenly passes them, infuriating Sasha as she shouts while pressing her horn.

Marcy then decided to change the subject.

Marcy: So... did you and Anne hang out much after I moved?

Sasha: At first, yeah, but we kind of fell into different friend groups in high school. We still talked, but only every once in a while. Never mind that, though. Have you heard what Anne's doing these days?

Aquarium of the Pacific

At the Aquarium where Anne is working, some people and kids are seen marveling at aquariums, one of them even taking a picture.

Scene cuts to a part of the place called, "The Wonderful World of Frogs". Some of the people and kids are looking at frogs.

As a bunch of kids are listening, Anne then explains to them

Anne: A frog's environment is everything. They love humidity.

She then holds up a pink frog that resembles Sprig, continuing.

Anne: This energetic fella is a pink South American tree frog.

The class gasps and starts gushing over the frog.

Kid 1: Wow!

Kid 2: So cute!

One of the kids asks Anne

Kid: What's his name?

Anne hold up the frog closer to her, answering

Anne: I named him Sprig, after a dear, dear friend of mine.

Teacher: Okay, class, everyone thank Anne, the herpetologist.

Class: Thanks, frog lady!

As everyone walks off, Anne smiles at the frog, placing it back in the it's habitat

Anne scratches the frog's head and closes the door.

To her shock, she sees Sasha and Marcy waiting for her through the reflection.

The two have brought gifts for her birthday, and Marcy is waving at her as Anne narrates out.

Anne: Change can be difficult, but it's how we grow. It can be the hardest thing to realize you can't hold on to something forever. Sometimes... you have to let it go. Anne (narrating) But of the things you let go... you'd be surprised... what makes its way... back to you

Wind blows across the sandy rock landscape, everything seems to be tranquil.

Until all of a sudden, a crack of lightning follows by the sound of thunder.

Crackling with electricity, Raiden looks around before noticing two figures approaching him.

Storm and Sakura stood there as Raiden says to the two solemnly.

Raiden: I guess the two of you were summoned to this place as well.

Storm: Indeed. A girl I helped out brought me to this Owl Lady who lead me to this place. In fact, that girl is also entering it as well.

Storm says as she watches Luz enter a large golden infrastructure.

Sakura: I don't know what is going on, I've heard Ryu telling me about this place but I have a bad feeling about what's to come

Raiden: Then by the Elder Gods, I pray that we can end this madness once and for all.

Storm, Sakura and Raiden stood at the edge of a plateau, staring at what looks like a very big colosseum.

Whether they will live or die, the answer lies in Kombat.

Megumi: Jesus, these endings never cease to amaze me.

Toomi: With their great resilence, speed and their electrical powers, this is certainly one very interesting match to see.

Sachi: But if we have to be real, this is really far from a close fight like at all.

Megumi: Like Raiden having the ability to lift up destroy a Metal Gear Ray does give him a good strength advantage in his fight against the Thunder God, it's not enough compared to Raiden who did shook the entire planet Earth.

Toomi: And while Raiden can scale directly to Armstrong who can hit the ground so hard, it splits lava...

Megumi: Not to mention, having a boss fight that is somehow more challenging than the stadium-sized Metal Gear EXCELSUS Raiden tore to shreds minutes earlier

Toomi: Right, Raiden on the other hand has defeated enemies ranging from planet to universal level, by beating Shao Kahn who merges realms together and even besting Shinnok who is an Elder God far stronger than him

Sachi: And there is speed, both fighters are shown to be capable of moving faster than lightning, capable of dodging attacks faster than the speed of light, but speed is not really the factor of this fight, mainly due to how the Cyborg Ninja have no counter against the Thunder God's flight.

Megumi: Which brings up one thing, what about the high frequency blade? Since Raiden can still get hurt by blades, wouldn't Raiden just need to cut off the God's head and just call it a win?

Sachi: It may seem that easy except for a few factors, the high frequency blade's vibrating ability is designed to take down Metal Gears with Carbon Nanotubes, metals stronger than steel or titanium and while it can hurt humans, it is not designed to counter healing factors from Gods

Toomi: Furthermore, even with the high-frequency blade's unique vibrating ability, it cannot cut through everything. Raiden's original blade actually shattered against Armstrong's super hard skin, and required the stronger Murasama to finish the job. Against a foe vastly more durable than anyone Raiden's ever faced, it's unlikely the Murasama would score a kill in time.

Megumi: I mean sure, we have seen characters rip Raiden's head off but those are just game mechanics, in canon, no one has ever had the ability to kill Raiden at all.

Sachi: And though the Ripper Mode is powerful enough to help nullify Raiden's pain receptors in order to fight hard against a very powerful opponent like Raiden, it however has limits as The Ripper Mode can burn out Raiden's own energy which is disadvantages against a God's healing factor and immortality.

Megumi: I mean come on, we're pitting a cyborg against a God, we all know how a fight like that will turn out.

Toomi: Holding the high key in power, speed, experience, durability and a huge insane amounts of ways to take this victory, Raiden holds every mean to emerge the victor in this combat.

Megumi: This was one thunderous end to the living lightning.

Toomi: Alright, since it's the last day of the year, you guys know the drill.

Sachi: Alright, our usual routine of announcing the winner together.

Megumi: Let's go!

* Both combatants also faces off a fascist leader that has incredible strength and has beaten them, Senator Armstrong for Raiden and Shao Kahn for Raiden to which both combatants defeated them

* Following the order of the Year End finales mixed with the New Year Premiers, The Flash vs Hit is the Male vs Male fight that acts as the 2022 Season premier while Raiden vs Raiden is that Male vs Male fight that acts as the final episode of the 2022 Season

* And interestingly, both Raiden vs Raiden and The Flash vs Hit involves a male combatant defeating another male combatant with Raiden beating Raiden and The Flash beating Hit. Interestingly, both Raiden and Flash are lightning based characters who met in the crossover game, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe

* This battle is most likely created to commemorate the upcoming Mortal Kombat 12 and the release of Mortal Kombat Onslaught

* The ending featured Megan Bloomfield and Graham Eaton kissing as they leave the conversion therapy camp which is a reference to the ending of the movie But I'm a Cheerleader

* The ending featured Spear and Mira's daughter, Mira, Fang and her two fully grown offsprings living happily ever after in a village is a reference to the Season 2 finale of Primal which also concludes Spear and Fang's story

* The ending featured Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr playing chess together with the Phoenix Force flying above is a reference to the end of the movie X-Men Dark Phoenix
