Two Gods of Destruction Hell Bent in destroying everything and conquering everything, these two seemingly indestructible titans are a force to be reckoned with. And to commemorate the release of Infinity War, we will be pitting the Gods of Destruction from DC and Marvel against each other

His true form is more akin to multiversal spirit.

After Orion mortally wounded the Dark God he began falling to his demise casting a shadow on the multiverse, and as result he ended dragging the multiverse into hole in time. Ultimately, he damaged the Orrery of Worlds which constitutes the DC multiverse and he had to be taken out by the Miracle Machine which used the tuned vibrations of the multiverse in order to cancels Darkseid out thus wiping him from that plane of existence.

The Anti-Life Equation

A power to manipulate the wills of others, Darkseid spend eternity to find the equation to make everyone in the universe like those on Apokolips. Darkseid would eventually obtain the equation while traversing the multiverse: "loneliness + alienation + fear + despair + self-worth ÷ mockery ÷ condemnation ÷ misunderstanding × guilt × shame × failure × judgment n=y where y=hope and n=folly, love=lies, life=death, self=dark side." This allows him to turn anyone into a mindless slave devoid of free will and personal identity, save those who could resist it like Static.

Agony Matrix

An energy-field-based weapon that causes direct neural stimulation of every pain receptor in a person, causing unfathomable torture. Darkseid claims its 'the worst possible pain you can imagine, times 1000'. While it would kill an average person within minutes, a super-powered being like Superman would only lay on the ground while writhing.

Apokolips' Power Feed

Whenever he needs to replenish his lost strength, Darkseid seals himself in the heart of Apokolips and syphon the planet's life energy. But it can be a dangerous risk since Darkseid must remain until the replenishment is complete and effect the drain has on Apokolips' unstable mass.

Boom Tubes

Portals that allow Darkseid to travel across dimensions. Depending on the story; these are either summoned by technology (normally a remote control) or by Darkseid's magic.

Occasionally uses Kryptonite weapons

Feats

Destroyed a planet while fighting Highfather.

Has overpowered Superman on numerous occasions, able to subdue him with the utmost of ease.

Strong enough to hold open a hole in reality.

Transforms Cyborg Superman into a metal ball.

Defeats Orion and Mr. Miracle with a simple wave of his hand, he also illustrates he has control over the firestorm matrix.

Destroys missiles that Superman can't stop.

Omega Beams are fast enough to tag Superman and The Flash

Weakness

Darkseid is vulnerable to Radion (a lethal substance to New Gods, conceptually similar to Kryptonite for Kryptonians).

Omega Beams can be stopped if it hits a different target during its initial pursuit. For example Batman and Flash using Parademons as human shields.

Omega Beams have been proven ineffective against the likes of Wonder Woman's bracelets.

Omega Beams were unable to harm Galactus, Doomsday and Mxyzptlk.

Can be pushed into his own Boom Tubes; temporarily banishing him

He is often overconfident and does not use his powers to their fullest extent.

Was once a McDonalds employee.

Failed to defeat High Father; agreeing to a peace treaty instead of finishing the war

Has lost in battles against Superman multiple times (especially since Superman is willing to go all out against Darkseid).

His Omnipresent true form was killed by Superman's shriek.

Was easily defeated by Doomsday.

Was shot by Batman (Batman was okay with this). The bullet was made out of Radion and so was fatal to Darkseid.

Infinity Gauntlet

A relic that gives the owner near-omnipotent powers. It is powered by the six Infinity Stones, six gems of vast power created from singularities at the end of the previous universe which separately make one god-like in their own right if used properly.

Time Stone: Gives the user control over time itself, ranging from reversing or accelerating the flow of time to stopping time in an instant or creating a timeloop that only the user can cancel. It can age enemies into dust; so long as they don't have eternal life.

Space Stone: Limitless manipulation of space, allowing for teleportation, dimensional manipulation, creation of wormholes, etc.

Soul Stone: Limitless manipulation of souls both alive and dead also has shown to be able to evolve or devolve a being both physically and mentally.

Reality Stone: Locally or universally alters the natural laws of the universe to the wielder's will, draining the life force of lesser beings who possess it.

Power Stone: Controls all of the power in the universe. Grants the user infinite strength and makes them invincible to physical attacks. It can be used to augment or inhibit any force, causing lesser beings holding it to combust in a massive explosion.

Mind Stone: Taps the user into the universal consciousness, allowing for unlimited manipulation of psionic powers including telepathy and telekinesis or to subjugate the wills of others.

Heart of Universe

Thanos discovered the existence of an infinite source of energy, from which emanates all physical and metaphysical energies, what he called the heart of the universe (also known as the heart of the infinite). This cosmic artifact is able to overcome other similar artifacts like the Infinity Stones.

Feats

While possessing the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos effortlessly used it to wish for half of all life in the known universe to cease.

Thanos was able to slightly damage Galactus' armor and blast the Devourer of Worlds off his feet

Broke the shield of the Captain America with a bitchslap

Was able to hold his own against Beyonder/Kosmos.

Thanos has destroyed planets with the simple force of his blows

Thanos defeated the Silver Surfer on several occasions

Thanos defeated the most powerful gods within Marvel

Defeated and killed the cosmic entity, eternity.

Destroyed the Celestials.

Overpowered the Living Tribunal and Galactus.

Weakness

It is possible to make magic or technology that can contain the power of the Infinity Stones 

Even in battle, Thanos has had his Infinity Gauntlet stolen by his enemies.

The Infinity Stones individually have weaknesses.

The Time Stone cannot kill enemies who possess eternal life.

Aging Thor actually gives him more experience and thus more power. 

Teleporting with the Space Stone can be detected by enemies with high skill and agility. 

Characters with high willpower or common-sense can resist the Reality Stone's brainwashing or illusions 

The magic from the Infinity Stones can be redirected to hit Thanos 

Massive ego makes him surprisingly easy to trick

It is always rejected by the Mistress Death

Has a helicopter, for some reason... 

The Infinity Gauntlet cannot work outside of the dimension it originates from.

Darkseid attemted to use the IG, but couldn't due to this.

Sometimes is so powerful that he discards his divine power out of boredom.

This is especially since OAA is mentally omnipresent and can manipulate events that lead to Thanos' (or any other user of the Infinity Gauntlet) defeat.

The Living Tribunal and Dr. Doom (imbued with the energy of the Beyonders) have also overwhelmed the Infinity Gauntlet.

Thanos (or a clone of Thanos) was easily defeated by Squirrel Girl.

Has lost to The Avengers and similar superhero groups; both with and without the Infinity Gauntlet

In an alternate canon: Wolverine outsmarted Thanos and cut his arm off

A massive explosion booms across the city as the boom tubes surrounding the city began detonating. 

Darkseid, the alien God of Destruction watches as his parademons sprints across the streets, persuing the fleeing civilians.

Darkseid: Parademons, dispose of these annoyances..

Parademons: GRRRRR....

The parademons growls as they charges forward.

However, without warning, a massive energy blast struck onto the parademons, creating a massive explosion on the floor.

KABOOM!!!!

Parademons: RAGHHHHH!!!!

The Parademons growls out in agony as they fall back from the attack.

Darkseid folds his arms and he questions.

Darkseid: Who dares to interfere with the affairs of Darkseid?

THOOM!!! THOOM!!!!

Darkseid watches as a huge massive Alien God of Destruction approaches him, wielding a golden gaunlet.

The figure is no other than Thanos, the God of Destruction of the Marvel Universe.

VOOM!!!!

Darkseid's eyes began glowing crimson red and he said to Thanos.

Darkseid: Leave, this planet is mine only to destroy

Thanos: Nice try, but I'm winning over Lady Death my way.

Darkseid: You wouldn't win her over even with your best might.

Thanos: Let me show you how wrong you really are

Thanos clenches his fist just as Darkseid got into a fighting stance.

Darkseid: A person like you is in such a hurry to die? Make no mistake, your existance shall be erased!

WHOOSH!!!!

Without warning, Darkseid launches himself at Thanos and he throws a punch right across Thanos's face.

WHAM!!!!

As blood flows down from the side of his mouth, Thanos smirks and he throws a left hook, striking Darkseid right in his cheek.

WHAM!!!

As Darkseid slides back from the attack, Thanos questions as he walks towards him.

Thanos: So you call yourself a God? Do you even know what I am?

Darkseid: An insect.

WHAM!!!!

Without warning, Darkseid swung his hand across, slapping Thanos back with his palm.

Thanos halts in midair and he launches an energy blast right at Darkseid.

WHOOM!!!!

ZSSSNT!!!!

Darkseid looks back and he launches an Omega Beam at the blast, causing both attacks to explode in midair.

KABOOM!!!!

As the smoke clears, Darkseid said to Thanos scornfully.

Darkseid: You should've fled when you had the chance

However, Thanos suddenly disappears from sight.

ZSSNT!!!

Darkseid: What?

Without warning, Thanos suddenly reappears and he throws a punch, striking Darkseid right across the face.

WHAM!!!

As Thanos prepares to throw another punch, Darkseid swerves his head to the side, dodging the attack before throwing one powerful uppercut.

WHAM!!!!

Thanos grunts as he was sent flying back, crashing through the wall of a building.

CRASH!!!!!

BOOM!!!!

As Thanos slams into the foundation of the building, the entire infrastructure began crumbling down.

WHOOSH!!!!

Darkseid flies up into the air, giving chance.

As Darkseid hovers over the ruins, he said with a hint of disdain.

Darkseid: Pathetic. Your efforts hardly impressed me.

Thanos: That's too bad, because you haven't impressed me

Darkseid looks down just as a massive explosion booms across the debris.

BOOM!!!!

As the smoke clears, Thanos jumps up before landing onto the building debris.

Thud!

Thanos: Now you're gonna pay.

THOOM!!!!

Thanos launches an energy blast right into Darkseid.\

BOOM!!!!

Darkseid: ARGHHH!!!!

Darkseid screams out as he was blasted back by the attack.

Thanos's mouth twisted into a smirk and he lunges forward.

As he closes in, Darkseid grabbed his kryptonite knife and he slams it right into Thanos.

SHOK!!!

Thanos: Ngn!

Thanos grunts in pain before throwing his fist upwards, striking right underneath Darkseid's chin.

BAM!!!!

Darkseid grits his teeth as he was sent flying upwards from the attack.

The God of Apokolips halts in midair before his eyes began glowing red.

ZSSSSNT!!!!!

THOOOM!!!

Darkseid: HAHHHH!!!!

Darkseid screams out as he launches the Omega Beams right towards Thanos.

However, Thanos suddenly disappears from sight.

ZSSSNT!!!!

As Thanos vanishes, the Omega Beams ends up striking a Parademon corpse.

THOOM!!!!

PSHHHHH!!!!

The Parademon's body began disintergrating before going out in an explosion.

KABOOM!!!!

ZSNNT!!!!

Thanos reappears on the ground and he questions Darkseid mockingly.

Thanos: Is that all?

Darkseid: Hmph. Impressive, no mortal has managed to avoid my omega beam. But, I wager I can still break you.

Darkseid closes his eyes and he concentrates, attempting mind control Darkseid with his telekinesis.

Thanos stood frozen in his spot, trembling as he felt Darkseid tearing into his mind like a razor.

Unfortunately....

BUSHHHH!!!

 Thanos broke free from Darkseid's mind control and he rushes right towards him.

Darkseid: Hmph..mortal....

Darkseid unleashed the Agony Matrix at Thanos, causing him to fall ontot the ground, screaming in pain.

Thanos: ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Darkseid: I knew even a man like you could fall to my Agony Matrix. Imagine the worst pain you've ever felt. And have that continue on and on. Increasing the amount of pain. Thing is..you don't have to imagine.

However, Thanos stood up, resisting the pain laid upon him.

Genuinely surprised, Darkseid questions.

Darkseid: Still alive!?

Thanos: Of course, I'm the Mad Titan! And I'll make sure your death will be slow..

THOOM!!!!

Thanos launches a plasma blast from his palm at Darkseid, only for the God of Apokolips to fire an Omega Beam at it.

ZSSSNT!!!!

KABOOM!!!!

As the projectiles explodes, Thanos compliments his opponent.

Thanos: You're pretty good..

Darkseid's eyes began glowing and before anyone even knew what was happening, the entire ground radius began going out in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!!

Thanos launches himself up into the air, narrowingly dodging the explosion.

Darkseid looks up, only for Thanos to suddenly disappear from sight.

ZSSNT!!!!

As Darkseid looks around, without warning, he felt something hard strike him right in the back, causing Darkseid to stumble forward.

BAM!!!!

Darkseid: Ngn!

Darkseid spun around, his eyes widens as he saw Thanos behind him.

Thanos: Is that all you have?

Thanos  throws a punch at Darkseid.

However, Darkseid jumps back, dodging the attack.

Thud!

As Darkseid lands back, he clenches his fist and grits his teeth.

VOOM!!! VOOM!!! VOOM!!!

Thanos widens his eyes in shock as Darkseid's size began growing, towering over the Mad Titan.

Thanos: Ha! You think making yourself bigger is going to increase your chances of winning?

Thanos laughs out and he launches himself upwards.

However, Darkseid swung his palm across, striking right into Thanos.

WHAM!!!

As Thanos flies up in the sky, Darkseid throws a downward punch, striking into him.

BAM!!!!

CRASH!!!

Thanos grits his teeth as he crashes backfirst onto the ground.

CRACK!!!

Darkseid clenches his fist and he throws his fist down, striking right into Thanos.

BAM!!!

Another punch was thrown.

BAM!!!

A third punch was thrown.

BAM!!!!

Thanos: Ngn!!!

Thanos grunts as he felt a fourth punch striking him down.

BAM!!!!

Darkseid: It's over!

Darkseid raises his fist before throwing it down.

However, just as he throws his punch, Thanos suddenly vanishes from sight, narrowingly dodging Darkseid's blow.

ZSSSSNT!!!!

BOOM!!!!

Darkseid narrows his eyes upon realizing that his target has disappeared.

ZSSNT!!!

Just then, Darkseid felt a strong hit striking him right in the back, causing him to stagger forward.

THOOM!!!

Darkseid: Ngn!

Darkseid spun around, growling in anger.

Darkseid: You will pay for that!

Thanos: No.....

Darkseid looks up and what he saw on Thanos's hand seem to catch his eye.

Donning over his right hand is a huge golden Gaunlet with five coloured gems stored within the tip of the knuckle.

Thanos has donned the Infinity Gaunlet!

Thanos: Your time is numbered.

Darkseid: I doubt it.

Darkseid begin using his Omega Sanction, causing the entire reality around the Gods of Destruction to warp and twist.

WHOOP!!! WHOOP!!!

Thanos: ARGHHHHH!!!!

Thanos screams out as he felt a sheer agony tearing through his skin, the warping of reality slowly killing him.

Darkseid: Now you are finished.

However, Thanos's mouth twisted into a smirk and he clenches his fist.

BOOM!!!!

Darkseid stumbles back just as the entire reality halts in it's tracks, returning back into it's original place.

Darkseid: What?

Darkseid looks down just as Thanos began cackling in laughter.

Thanos: Heh heh heh heh! Ha ha ha ha ha! Now..that I have the Infinity Gauntlet...I will end you.

Darkseid: You're gonna kill me with that? Insanity. That mere weapon won't stop me.

However, without warning, Darkseid heard a loud rumbling sound around him.

RRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Darkseid looks around just as four huge stone pillars began growing around him.

Thanos: You must not know the power it has..

Thanos watches just as the pillars slams right into Darkseid.

BAM!!!

Darkseid: ARGHHHH!!!!

Thanos: I'm not done yet

ZSSSSNNNTTTT!!!!

Thanos suddenly disappears without warning, just as Darkseid tore through his stone prison.

Darkseid: ARGHHHHH!!!!

BOOM!!! CRASH!!!!

The stone pillars crumbles just as Darkseid tore himself free.

ZSSNT!!!

However, just then, Darkseid felt something hot and hard slam into him, sending him flying upwards into space.

WEEEEEEEEE BOOM!!!!

Darkseid: ARGHHHHHHH!!!!

Darkseid screams out in agony as he was sent flying up past the Earth's atmosphere.

THOOM!!!!

Thanos launches himself off the ground, flying after Darkseid.

Space

As Darkseid's body drifts slowly in space, the Apokolips God body began shrinking, returning back into his original size.

Darksied clutches his chest, gritting his teeth in agony.

The last attack has injured him severely.

Darkseid: I need to counter his..infinity gauntlet..

Just then, Thanos flies up into space and launches an energy blast at him.

THOOM!!!

The blast struck Darkseid in his chest, sending him flying towards the moon.

Thanos: You can't counter the Infinity Gauntlet. Nothing else can match up to it.

Darkseid however pulled out the Anti-Life Equation, preparing to use it.

Darkseid: I will end this now.

Darkseid and Thanos jumped at each other and the two launches an Omega Energy and Plasma Blast right towards each other. 

THOOM!!!!

KABOOM!!!!

The surrounding asteroids explodes into nothingness just as a huge explosion booms across space.

Thanos folds up his arms and he said to his opponent.

Thanos: I have bested you in every way possible mortal. If you really think you can stand against the titan make your move, otherwise you can get lost.

Darkseid: No. I'm not done with you. I'll make sure that I end your life, slowly, painfully.

CRACK!!!!

Darkseid flies up and he clenches his fist, getting into a fighting stance.

Thanos: You still try to fight? Can't you see that it's hopeless?

Darkseid: I shall prove that the entire universe shall bow down to me. And me alone. Never with somebody like you. I..am a god!

THOOM!!!!

Darkseid launches himself forward and he throws a punch, sending Thanos flying back.

BOOM!!!

Thanos: ARGHHHH!!!!

Thanos screams out as he was sent flying back from the attack.

VOOM!!!

Darkseid's eyes began glowing crimson in colour and he launches a massive Omega Beam right towards his opponent.

ZSSSSSNTTTT!!!!

But suddenly, Thanos swung his Infinity Gaunlet across, deflecting the Omega Beam.

THOOM!!!!

Just as Darkseid prepares to attack, all of a sudden, he felt something.

Darkseid: W-what!?

Darkseid tries to move but to his horror, he couldn't even move a muscle!

His entire body is frozen in place.

With his opponent defenseless, Thanos launches a powerful Energy Blast right at Darkseid.

Thanos: DIE!!!!

THOOM!!!!

Darkseid eyes widens his horror just as the blast struck him, causing his entire body to go off in a massive explosion.

Darkseid: AHHHHHHH!!!!!

KABOOM!!!!!

Thanos watches in silences just as Darkseid's body began falling down.

Thanos: That's what you get for trying to interfere.

However, the fight is still far from over.

FLASH!!!!!

Just them, Darkseid's entire body began glowing and before Thanos knew what was happening, he felt the entire reality around him crumbling.

BOOM!!!!

Thanos: Ngn! What?!

Thanos exclaims just as the entire void began turning red.

Thanos looks around just as he heard Darkseid's voice booms across.

Darkseid: For injuring me this badly, I shall wipe this entire reality RIGHT OUT OF YOUR EYES!!!!

FLASH!!!

However, Thanos clenches his fist, causing time to freeze in it's tracks.

Thanos: I don't think so.

CRACK!!!!

Thanos clenches his fist before swinging his arm across.

FLASH!!!!

Within seconds, time resumes itself except this time, Darkseid felt..different..

VOOOOMMM!!!

A s a bright light flashes across Darkseid's falling body, Darkseid widens his eyes in sheer horror and agony.

Thanos: The one that's going to be erased is you!

FLASH!!!!

Darkseid: AHHHHHH!!!!

FLASHHHH!!!!

Darkseid screams out in agony as his entire body flashes in a bright light before going off in a massive explosion.

KABOOM!!!!

As Darkseid's body disappears from existance, Thanos faces down onto the green and blue globe and he said to himself.

Thanos: He's down..one last thing to do..

Thanos swung his Infinity Gaunlet across and within seconds....

KABOOM!!!!

The entire planet went off in a massive explosion, debris flying across the dark void of space.

In the middle of space, Thanos stares down at what used to be Earth and he chuckles evily to himself.

Thanos: Heh! Heh! Heh! Heh!
