Luz: Light in the darkness!

She says, using a light glyph.

Luz: A glittering bridge of ice!

She says, using an ice glyph.

Luz: The mightiest tree in the forest!

She says, using two plant glyphs.

Luz: You can make all these and more with glyph magic! Welcome to Day 3 of Luz's Magic Boot Camp!

She says, using a couple of fire glyphs to which Lilith claps her hands with excitement while Eda seemed to be busy with something else.

Luz: Now then, we've covered every glyph I've learned up until now, so today we'll learn something new.

Lilith: Are we about to encounter a never-before-seen glyph?

Luz: Unfortunately, no. These four either came from nature or another witch's spell. I don't know where to find more. In any case, today we're learning how to alter glyphs to do specific things.

She says while showing them a chalkboard to display the glyphs.

Lilith: Uh, Miss Teacher! Did I do it right?

She asks before showing her a drawing of the four glyphs.

Luz: Yeah, that's really good. Let's see how you're doing Eda.

She says before realizing that Eda had used a knife to create a combo of two glyphs.

Luz: Uh, Eda?

She says as Eda raises a hand up.

Eda: Double glyph combo, go!

She says before tapping it as it sparkles electricity before causing a small explosion.

Eda: Ah nuts. I was really hoping for an ice blast situation.

Luz: I know you're impatient to get your powers back, but try to master the basics before you start experimenting. Like you did with your martial arts.

She said as Eda lets out a sigh.

Eda: Yeah, okay.

Hooty: Luz, you're gonna be late for school. Hoot hoot!

Luz: What?! Ah crud! You're right! We'll continue this later! See ya!

She says before sprinting her way to Hexside.

Once she made it, Luz approached the school doors, hesitant to enter.

Luz: Okay, Luz. It's your first day back after the petrification ceremony. But I'm sure not much has changed. So . . . just take deep breaths and get in there.

She says, doing just that before opening the door to see Hexside students walking about as she enters.

Luz only managed to take a couple steps inside before everyone noticed, all looking at the human martial artist.

Luz: Uhhh . . . hi?

She says before dozens of students immediately crowded over to her.

Female Witch 1: Woah! It's Luz the human!

Male Witch 1: I can't believe it!

Male Witch 2: I saw your fight with that other human at the petrification ceremony!

Female Witch 2: Your fight was so cool!

Female Witch 3: You're even cuter in person. Are you single?

They all continued to crowd Luz, the teen overwhelmed from all the compliments and questions before they were all grabbed and lifted into the air by vines.

Luz's eyes widened before noticing Willow and Gus approaching her.

Willow: Luz!

Gus: You're back!

Luz: Willow! Gus!

She exclaimed as the three of them got into a group hug.

Willow: I'm so glad you're okay!

Luz: I'm so glad to see you guys again!

She says before noticing that Gus was taller now.

Luz: Woah, Gus. Did I miss a birthday or something?

Gus: Witch puberty.

He says in a deeper, more mature voice.

Luz: Oh, well that makes sense. So, Willow, are you gonna release these guys or . . . ?

Willow: Huh? Oh. Right.

She says before releasing all the students that were previously crowding Luz.

Willow: This is Luz's first day back in Hexside for over a week. Don't just cried her.

Gus: Yeah! Even mean, human fighting machines need their space!

Luz: And besides, shouldn't we all be getting ready for class? I'd hate everyone to get in trouble because of me.

She said, to which all the students listened and left them alone.

Luz: I can't thank you guys enough for getting the crowd on me and Eda's side at the conformatorium.

Gus: It's cool. I just hope it helps Eda learn my name. She keeps calling me Goops.

Luz: Really? I never noticed.

???: Hey, Luz.

Said the voice of a familiar witch.

Luz: A-Amity!

She says, a small blush appearing on her face as she remembered that her Kickboxing alternate universe self had been dating Amity well before the petrification ceremony.

Amity: In celebration of your return, I have brought you a homemade fairy pie.

Luz: O-Oh, wow! That sounds so . . .

She paused upon seeing some fairy arms and legs sticking out of the pie along with muffled screams.

Luz: . . . Good.

She says, trying to hide her disgust and horror.

Amity: The ingredients are very fresh.

Luz: I can see that. Thanks.

She says, taking the pie into her hands, albeit reluctantly.

Luz: You know, after everything that's happened, I'm just happy to return to some sense of normalcy.

Gus: I wouldn't be too sure about that. Ever since the petrification ceremony, the whole school wouldn't shut up about you. You're the hot topic of Hexside.

Luz: That would explain that one girl.

Amity: What girl?

Luz: Well, she's one of the students that crowded me. She said I was cuter in person and asked if I was single.

She explained, to which Amity clenched her fists as her left eye twitched, her face slowly turning red in anger.

Amity: Really? . . . Are you planning to go out with this girl?

She asked, trying her best to hold in her anger.

Luz: N-No, no. I mean, I have been thinking about dating recently, but I don't think I'm ready for that right now.

She says, noticing that Amity seemed to calm down, her fists no longer clenching and the red in her face subsiding.

Amity: Oh. Okay then. That's good to hear.

She says with a smile on her face.

Gus: Why's that?

He asked, a blush appearing on Amity's cheeks.

Amity: N-No reason! A-Anyway, shouldn't we be heading to class?!

She says before running off, Luz still blushing as she finally realized that Amity had feelings for her.

Luz: 'W-Wow . . . looks like Kickboxer me was right.'

She thought, remembering her counterpart's words about Amity before hearing the school speakers going off.

Principal Bump: Luz Noceda, please report to the Principal's Office. I repeat, Luz Noceda, please report to the Principal's Office.

He said, confusing our trio.

Willow: What could the principal want with you, Luz?

Luz: I'm not sure. Hopefully it's nothing bad. I'll see you guys later, okay?

She says before heading to Principal Bump's office.

Principal Bump: Ah, Ms. Noceda, you're here.

Luz: Good morning, Principal Bump. You wanted to see me?

Principal Bump: That I do. Please, sit.

He says before Luz takes a seat in front of his desk.

Luz: So what is this about? Did I do something wrong?

Principal Bump: Oh. No, of course not. You're not in any trouble whatsoever.

Luz: Really?

Principal Bump: Yes. The reason I called you here was because I'd like you to tell me, from your perspective, why you were in battle with that other human in the Petrification Ceremony.

Luz: Oh. Huh . . . I wasn't expecting that. But okay. Should I tell you everything or shorten it?

Principal Bump: I only require important details.

He says before Luz started explaining everything about her martial arts, Garou's attack on the dojo and his presence in the Boiling Isles.

Luz: So yeah, that's pretty much it.

Principal Bump: I see. I've heard rumors about a "monster" attacking various covens and that the Emperor saw it to it himself to end the attacks. That definitely matches up with your story.

Luz: I see.

Principal Bump: And this Garou knows the same fighting style as you?

Luz: Yes, sir. It's called the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist.

Principal Bump: Yes, I remember it from watching your battle with Grom. It's quite impressive.

Luz: Thanks.

Principal Bump: All right. I've made up my mind. Ms. Noceda, I have a proposal for you.

He said as Luz gave the principal her full attention.

Principal Bump: How would you like to start an after school class for your martial arts?

Luz: . . . Say what?

Principal Bump: All of Bonesborough and Hexside have been talking about you and your fighting style for over a week now. And I'm sure you've received much attention from your fellow students. So, what shall it be, Ms. Noceda? It's your choice.

Luz paused for a moment, remembering that her kickboxing self had also started an after school kickboxing dojo at Hexside way before this point of time.

Luz then smiled as she looks Bump in the eyes.

Luz: I'll do it!

Principal Bump: That's great to hear. I'll give you as much time as you need to setup your after school class. You may leave.

He says before Luz leaves his office and heads straight to class.

School went by as usual, though Luz would find herself being stared at by many of her classmates.

She was currently enjoying lunch along with Willow, Gus & Amity until the school speakers suddenly went off.

Principal Bump: You can't just barge in here!

Woman: Yes we can! We are the Parent Creature Association. Luz Noceda, Willow Park and Augustus Porter, report to Principal Bump's office now! And you too, Amity.

Amity: Mom?!

She says in surprise before the five of them made their way to the principal's office where Bump and Amity's parents were waiting.

Odalia: The abomination situation. The infiltration of Hexside. These are but a few of the incidents that have endangered Hexside's students. Including our daughter. So, the PCA has decided . . .

She waits for her husband, but he was distracted by observing Bump's moving hat only to clear her throat to get his attention.

Alador: Oh, right. Um . . . these three are bad influences and must be executed.

He said, earning gasps from everyone before clearing his throat.

Alador: I mean, expelled.

Luz: What?! Principal Bump?!

She said as Willow and Gus gasped.

Principal Bump: Yeah . . . no. That's not happening.

Odalia: Excuse me?

Principal Bump: I will not be expelling either of these three.

Odalia: They've put your very school and our daughter in danger multiple times! Have you forgotten the incident at the Petrification Ceremony?!

Principal Bump: I'm well aware of the incident, Mrs. Blight. However, in case you have forgotten, there is another human out there with the same skills as Ms. Noceda, if not superior. I have already proposed an after school program for the students of Hexside to learn from Ms. Noceda's fighting style to better protect themselves when magic is not enough.

Willow: You're going to start an after school program?

Luz: Yeah, I forgot to mention that, didn't I?

Amity: That's good to hear, Luz.

Gus: Where can we sign in?

Odalia: Oh please! Humans are weak!

Luz: Garou almost killed the emperor.

Odalia: Hah! He was lucky!

Luz: No. He wasn't.

Odalia: Whatever the case, I will not allow my daughter to learn from a hooligan!

Amity: Mom! Back off!

She yelled, Odalia gasping at this sudden outburst.

Odalia: Amity, how dare you yell at me like that!

Amity: You always think you know what's best for me! When really, it's all what's best for you and our family's stupid reputation!

Odalia: Amity, I may not be able to have these three expelled, but I can pull you out of Hexside and home school you myself!

She yelled, making Amity look at her friends with a worried expression.

Luz: That's enough, Mrs. Blight! You're not doing anything!

Odalia: What?! And just who do you think you are!?

Luz: Look. Why don't we make a deal?

She said, the teen piquing Odalia's interest as she raised an eyebrow.

Odalia: Oh? Is that so? In that case . . .

Some time later, it was the evening as Luz was in the Blight Manor garden.

Odalia: Allow me to introduce your opponent. Alador!

She says, her husband taking out a remote and pressing a button as a massive mechanical abomination appeared.

Odalia: Amity had managed to defeat it's predecessor before, that's why my husband has been working day and night to create the Abomaton 2.0!

She said as Amity, Willow and Gus in shock upon seeing the machine.

Odalia: It's bigger, stronger and better in every way. The Abomaton 2.0 is the perfect soldier and it won't rest until it's enemy is COMPLETELY. ELIMINATED.

She said as the Abomaton formed weapons for hands while Luz glares at the machine defiantly.

Odalia: Now then, this will be the deal. If you manage to defeat the Abomaton, I won't pull Amity out of Hexside. But if the Abomaton wins . . .

She chuckled.

Odalia: WHEN the Abomaton wins, you have to drop out of Hexside forever.

She says with a grin, Luz staring at Odalia.

Odalia: And don't worry. A blight always upholds their end of a deal.

She says before Amity grasps the human's hand, looking at Luz with a concerned expression.

Amity: Luz, you don't have to do this.

Luz: I'm not gonna let your mom pull you out of school because of me.

Amity: But-

She was interrupted by Luz grasping Amity's hands into hers.

Luz: Trust me. I got this.

She says, to which Amity reluctantly nodded before Luz turns to look at Odalia.

Luz: It's a deal, Mrs. Blight!

Odalia: Excellent.

She says before the Abomaton lumbers about towards the teen.

It swings an axe hand at her, to which she quickly dodging the Abomaton's attacks only for it to grab her by the leg, slamming her to the floor.

Luz then looks at Odalia and Alador, the former standing there with a grin on her face.

Luz was then yeeted into a rose bush, the human gets up only to immediately dodge out of the way as the Abomaton had attempted to stomp her.

Luz then takes out some fire glyphs, rapidly firing them at the Abomaton as she ran around the garden.

Luz's eyes then widened as she witnessed the Abomaton lunging towards her at great speed despite it's size.

Luz: Oh crud!

She yelled, quickly dodging the Abomaton as it had formed a sword hand.

Luz then makes full use of her martial arts, dodging, blocking and redirecting the Abomaton's blades with her bare hands while also hitting it with counter attacks.

After a little while, the Abomaton kicks Luz and goes in with a mace hand.

Luz manages to dodge the attack as the Abomaton gives chase.

Luz then sprinted into the garden's maze, making random turns to try and confuse the Abomaton.

Once she reached a dead end, she jumped up the incredibly tall bush wall of the maze and walked out as if she were light as a feather.

She then found the Abomaton, searching for the human, to which Luz runs and leap about the maze like a ninja before latching herself onto the bush wall.

Luz: Hey! Over here!

She yelled, catching the Abomaton's attention as it strikes the wall, missing the teen as she lands on the ground before tapping an enormous ice glyph.

Luz smirked as she bolted away as the Abomaton was directly beneath the ice glyph, sent flying by a massive block of ice before plummeting to the ground outside the maze, creating a large crater.

Amity, Willow, Gus, Odalia and Alador shielded their eyes from the dirt.

Then looked, Odalia being in shock to see Luz casually walking over to the Abomaton.

The machine struggled to get up as Luz takes a fighting stance, attacking the Abomaton with a flurry of punches and kicks with the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, pummeling the Abomaton to oblivion as chunks of abomination goop and shattered metal were all that was left.

Willow: Woooooo!

Gus: You did it, Luz!

Amity: Are you okay?!

Luz: Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry.

Odalia: How!? How did you do this!!? This shouldn't be possible!!!

Luz: It is for me. Also, it looks like I won, Mrs. Blight.

She says, to which Odalia lets out a frustrated grunt.

Odalia: If you think for a moment that I'll allow you to-!!

Alador: Odalia!

He interrupted as Odalia looks at her husband in surprise.

Alador: You made a deal with the human and a Blight always upholds their end of a deal. She won fair and square.

Luz: Thank you, Mr. Blight.

The teen says before leaving the Blight Garden with Amity, Willow & Gus.

Odalia: But, Alador-!

Alador: What's done is done, Odalia. And besides, there is a bright side in all of this.

Odalia: What do you mean?

Alador: Look what happened to my upgraded Abomaton. A mere human did this with unorthodox magic and physical strength and skill. With her bare hands, no less. Imagine how strong Amity will become if the human teaches her to fight like that. Strong enough to become a Coven Head someday.

He said, to which Odalia looks at Luz and her daughter before smiling.

Odalia: Wise words, dear. We have to focus on what's best for the family.

We then cut to Luz and the gang as they had exited Blight property.

Luz: So you guys really wanna learn my martial arts?

Gus: Heck yeah! No one will wanna mess with us ever again!

Willow: I'm more interested in using your martial arts to control and wield my anger properly.

Luz: Oh yeah. I can totally help you with that. How about you, Amity?

Amity: I won't lie, I've been interested in learning your fighting style for a while now. And now with that Garou guy on the loose, you'll need all the help you can get.

Luz: Yeah . . . yeah! That's what I was thinking! I still gotta make plans for the after school program, so if you guys wouldn't mind helping me with it, I'd really appreciate it.

Amity: Count me in, Luz.

Willow: Us too. Right, Augustus?

Gus: You're Titan darn right we are!

They said as they continued to walk and chat as the sun began to set.
