In the Past

Lucifer: Spawn, you gotta leave the parenting to Me and Wife. I l know you and Charlie are fond of each other, but it's not what I created you for. Your a general of Hells army not a car taker.  

Spawn: Well it's not like I see you spend time with her. 

Lucifer: Well, being the ruler of hell has it's drawbacks. But that doesn't mean I have no time for my daughter, how will she learn to be my successor if she doesn't have me in her life? 

Spawn: I..guess that makes some sense. 

Lucifer enters into Charlie's room. 

Lucifer: Charlie! How's my little demon up too? 

A Young Charlie was seen drawing on piece of paper in her room. She perks up her head, making a wide smile of excitement. She jumps off her bed and proceeds to toward Lucifer and Spawn. Lucifer has his arms open, prepared to for his daughters loving embrace. But it never came. Instead of him, Young Charlie hugs Spawn, which caught both off guard. 

Spawn: Oh..uh..

Young Charlie: Spawn!! I drew you and me playing at the park! Do you like it?

Spawn grabs the paper and looks at the drawing, it as a scribbled drawing of Him and Charlie holding hands. Spawn was touched by this. 

Spawn: Why thank you Charlie..

Young Charlie: Spawn! Do you wanna play tea party with me!! I have the table all set up!!

Spawn: I would love to Charlie, but not today. 

Young Charlie: Why not?

Lucifer: Because today is where you hang with me daughter. Spawn is to busy with his OWN duties to play with you today. 

Lucifer gives Spawn a conceded look. 

Lucifer: How about I be your tea party partner for today? 

Young Charlie: But..I wanted Spawn to be at my tea party..he and I always have tea parties together. 

Lucifer: Well today he's busy...he is a general after all, and general's have no time to do such things as being at Tea Party's..am I right Spawn?

Spawn: (Sighs)..yes. Don't worry Charlie, maybe will have a tea party after I'm done. 

Young Charlie: You promise?

Spawn: I promise.

Lucifer: Well with the work you have...I doubt you will. 

Spawn leaves the room, being watched by Lucifer who stared at him with venom. Young Charlie looks in sadness, watching as Spawn left.

Lucifer: So, Charlie..who else is invited to your Tea Party? Daddy is interested.
