AN: Okay, this is the last chapter! Thanks to everyone for all the support with this story!

Jack stood in front of the Manhattan Newsboy Lodging House, nervously fidgeting with his hat. He wasn't sure why he was so anxious to see the boys after all this time. He wished Katherine was here, but she had to go to work. Jack still thought that she should get at least week off now, but apparently it doesn't work that way, according to Katherine. So, he placed his cap firmly on his head, mustered up his courage, and knocked. After a few minutes, the door opened slightly and a young blonde boy pokes his head out. He looked about ten years old.

"Who're you, kid?" Jack had never seen him before, so he was obviously new. The boy cautiously opened the door wider.

"Spades... why are you here?" he replied.

"Well you certainly is the polite type, huh?" Michael just glared at Jack. "Okay... look is your leader here?"

"Why do you wanna know?" Jack was starting to dislike this kid.

"Cause I need to talk to him, now is he here or not?"

"...Yeah, he is." Spades turned around and called up the stairs "Hey, Race, some guy is here ta see ya." There was a long pause.

"He ain't one of them Delancey's, is he?" Race replied.

"No, he ain't."

"Well, what's his name then?"

"I dunno, lemme ask him." Spades turned back to Jack. "What's your name?" Jack rolled his eyes. He was wondering when they would get to that.

"My name's Jack." The blonde boy nodded and turned back around.

"He says his names Jack." Another long pause, and then Race appeared at the top of the stairs.

"You said Jack?" the boy nodded, obviously confused.

"Yeah, why?" Race didn't respond, but instead practically ran down the stairs.

"Spades, go to Jacobi's with the other boys." He ordered the younger boy.

"But-"

"Now!"

"Fine." Spades groaned, but headed off in the direction of Jacobi's. Once he was gone, Race studied Jack standing in the doorway. Race smirked and folded his arms across his chest.

"So, Kelly, ya finally got your butt back in New York." He punched Jack playfully in the arm. "Yeah I did, and you didn't move your butt one bit, huh Race?" Jack punched him back. "So, you got a new kid?"

"Yeah, but I don't think he's gonna last too long. His situation ain't too bad and he's horrible at sellin papes. Plus he's annoying."

"Well, you sure are nice."

"Yeah, you know me, I'm always nice."

"Sure you are."

"So, ya wanna go see the rest of the boys?"

"Course I do."

And suddenly, everyone was back together again.

I would have made this chapter longer but I got lazy. If enough people want, I might add another chapter, but don't get your hopes up. I'm already planning for some more one-shots and eventually another multi-chapter, so expect one of those soon.
