Ms. Spinx had just called Dawn and asked to come over and if she was willing to talk about what happened but based upon from what I could hear as she didn't want to come over and risk getting into trouble.

Ms. Spinx ends the call and sighs.

"Is everything alright?" I asked, wanting to make sure that she was okay.

"Yes. Everything is fine. But looks like Dawn isn't coming after all. She didn't want to get in trouble with her parents and other family members about what happened so she refused to talk to you." Ms. Spinx said.

"I see. Well, thanks for everything you've done. It was nice of you to try and help but it look like I am back at square one."

Ms. Spinx and I just sat there in silence for a few moments before I decided to head back to my hotel and see if I could find anything about Kana or Alice and how it was all connected to the lake.

Once I got back to the hotel, I went to my room and began researching for any info on what happened on my laptop.

There wasn't much about it due to many of the rich families wanting to cover it up and what the press did have were probably all cover stories to keep the public from finding out about what actually happened.

Then, out of the blue, I got an email from unknown email address. I clicked on it and to my surprise, it was from Dawn.

The email read:

Hi, my name is Dawn. My Aunt Ms. Spinx told me about you today. I am sure you heard about me from her regarding about what happened at the lake and how I could help. I know my aunt told you that I didn't want to help but after thinking about it for a bit, I decided to help and tell you about what happened and how I played into it. Let's meet at the Perry's Diner in about half an hour. Hope that's good with you? Hope to see you soon.

I just sat there for a good minute or two trying to process what I had before I realized that I had to get ready to meet her at the diner in 28 minutes. I quickly got ready, making sure I had everything while doing so before leaving my room and the hotel and heading to Perry's Diner.

Perry's Diner was 80's themed and had a lot of 80's decorum to it when I stepped inside and found Dawn sitting at one of the tables in one of the far corners of the diner.

I walked over to her and said "Hi, are you Dawn? I am Mr. Davidson. You sent me an email saying you had information about what happened at the lake."

Dawn was exactly like how Alice had described in our therapy session but I could tell the whole story regarding the lake had changed her. Like she wasn't the same person as she once was.

"Yes. I am Dawn. Nice to meet you. Please have a seat." She said. She wore a pink dress and a blue hair band in her hair. Her long hair draped over her shoulders.

I thanked her and sat down.

"So, whenever you're ready, we can start. Don't leave anything out if you're comfortable with it. If not, that's fine. You don't have to, you don't want to."  I said.

Dawn nods in understanding before taking a sip of water that sat in front of her on the table.

"I should probably start from the first time I met Alice then. Things didn't get strange until I met her."
