Neil was alone in his room, lying on his bed- staring the ceiling

She was about to slap a 9yr old child just for a stupid dress!

Mitali neilansh ko kabhi dil se accept nahi karegi- usne uss chote bacche ko itna data par wo chup raha- he didnt answer back

Neilansh ki upbringing avni se better koi nahi kar sakta

Next day-

It was time of engagement& although neil made mitali wear the ring, he did it absent mindedly- he was present on the venue but just physically- mentally, he was still lost in his same pool of thoughts-the same happenings were roaming in his mind

Everyone was clapping when mitali made neil wear the ring but neil came back to his senses only when mitali clung to him as the photographer suggested them for a closeup pic

Neil's face had no expressions& when the photographer told him to smile, neil suddenly recollected avni's smiling face which instantly brought a smile on his face

Neil closed the door & sat on the bed with a thud, sinking his face in his palms

Suddenly his gaze fell on his& avni's wedding photo seeing which he smiled

He caressed it& started talking to the photo itself

Neil broke the awkwardness present between them

Although she didnt show it but fact was that she badly wanted to hug him& never let him go but she knew she needed to control her emotions

Soon, avni bid bye to the kids of sukoon ghar &shifted to khanna mansion &handled the orphanage work from their itself, though visiting the kids regularly

Shweta was hell angry on avni's return but she understood that neilansh wont bare any bashing against his mother so she decided to remain silent

Khannas started spending time with neilansh- like a normal family- taking him on picnic, water park amusement park etc

On neilansh's insistance, AvNeil used to sleep in neil's room itself &he used to sleep in between the two

As time flew, he started to sleep in his own room but avni couldnt go with him else he started fussing about it
What nobody knew was that it was all his plan- to bring his parents back together

It was a random night& AvNeil were sleeping together with cushions in between (which used to be removed when neilansh was with them)

Avni shifted the cushion behind her& moved towards neil- resting her arm on his waist &snuggling into his chest

This broke neil's sleep as well
He didnt know how but a smile instantly appeared on his face on seeing her like that

He pulled her closer &she rested her head on his chest
A peaceful look appeared on her face
Soon this became her every night habit but neil never told her about it- he just used to stare at her& caress her hair lovingly
Neil felt that his old avni was returning& he decided to live in the moment- forgetting those 10yrs of loneliness

Slowly, avni finally opened up to neil- on how much she had missed him& her family in these yrs
The only reason she was able to live all these yrs was bcz of their son otherwise she would have died long back
Her words stung neil alot
He realised that if he had faced loneliness in these yrs, her life was no easy- she had also faced the same situation
He didnt say it but avni knew that by his expressions that he was guilty for whatever harsh statements he had said to her

It was weekend &neil was sorting out files from his study shelf when he found avni's photograph hidden inside one of his files- yes, he had resumed his police job& everyone was damn happy
They all thought that it was his own decision but in reality, it was bcz he had once promised avni that he would never leave his job& now, he didnt want to let avni down- even if he took this decision after 10long yrs

Neil smiled on seeing the frame& as he moved forward to pick it up, the backside of the frame got separated &out came a memory card seeing which neil was confused

(No sayesha angle here- she was such a torture to my eyes, ears& brain)

He inserted it into his pc& what he saw next just swept the floor from beneath his feet

Aur ab jab hum itne salon baad aamne saamne aaye toh bhi meri narfrat, mere taane, mera gussa- sab chup chaap sehti rahi

He ran his fingers in his hair in frustration& guilt
Suddenly his face adorned a determine expression

N(to himself)- sirf sagai todne, shaadi se inkaar karne ya saath rehne se kaam nahi chalega- i need to apologize to her
I want her back in my life
I want to again fulfill her& neilansh's dream of a happy family

Forgetting their past behind, AvNeil forgave eachother, got married again& lived happily forever

(I skipped that part bcz i didnt want to show them broken on remembering neela maa's death- vidyut's game was anyway over)
