Chapter 12: Mother (2)

Taehyung wasn't able to talk with Jungkook since Jungkook left early than usual time. He was kind of upset but he understand Jungkook.

He was currently in his coffee shop, not in the mood to do something. He was just sitting in one chair while looking through his glass wall. He flinches when the door of his shop was open, he saw a familiar woman was coming inside.

The woman looked at him and Taehyung was right, he knew her.

"Taehyung" Karen uttered while looking at him.

Taehyung stood up, he hope they won't talk about Michael.

"Ma'am, what are you doing here?" Taehyung inquired.

"I'm here to visit you and to talk with you." Karen responded, walking in front of him.

"Take a seat, ma'am." Taehyung uttered and pointed out the seat in front of him.

Karen took a seat and Taehyung did the same. She was Michael's mother and she supported whatever her son wants.

"Myung, get her a coffee." Taehyung told his staff.

"I heard you and my son broke up, is that true?" Karen started to ask.

"We didn't break up, we're not even in a relationship, ma'am. I told him to stop courting me." Taehyung stated.

"But why? My son loves you, you know that." Karen retorted.

"I know ma'am, but I think he's not the person I want that's why I rejected him." Taehyung explained.

"No one rejected my son, you're the only person who did that to him. What's wrong with him? He can give whatever you want, he's perfect for you." Karen started.

"I'm sorry to tell this to you, ma'am. But he's not perfect for me. I tried, I tried to like him back but I can't. I didn't feel anything when I'm with him that's why I rejected him." Taehyung explained.

"If you two fight, you should talk to each other to fix everything. You shouldn't reject him immediately, I'm sure if you two talk to each other, you can fix it and go back to each other again." Karen insisted.

"No ma'am, he can't respect me and my decision. I already rejected him, he should accept it. We don't need to talk, we don't need to fix everything. I'm fine now and feel great." Taehyung replied.

"Can't you just come back to him?" Karen asked.

"I can't, I don't want to." Taehyung replied.

"But he was planning to kill himself if you didn't come back to him." Karen suddenly utter.

"I don't care about it, do whatever he wants. It's not my fault if ever something happened to him." Taehyung retorted, standing up.

"Is that what you want to happen? To kill himself." Karen grumbled, stopping Taehyung.

"Whether he kills himself or not, I don't care. He'll die anyway." Taehyung retorted.

"You don't have a conscience, you look like an angel but a devil." Karen replied.

"Who told you I'm an angel? No one, right? Tell your son to stop if you want to but you can't force me to come back to him. I don't want to live with him!" Taehyung stated while gritting his teeth.

"He loves you, isn't that enough for you to come back to him?" Karen asserted.

"You don't understand, ma'am, he's obsessed." Taehyung shot back.

"I don't care, if my son wants you just do it. If you don't want to end up in jail." Karen smirked.

"Put me in jail? Why? I didn't harm your son, he's the one who hurts me. I have witnessed what he did to me." Taehyung argued.

"I found out that your hyungs beat him. One of them attacked him inside his house. I have strong evidence and tell the police you are the mastermind about that. I can put you in jail with your brothers." Karen snickered.

"Now, you're making your son as if he's the victim. Like mother like son." Taehyung uttered, clenching his jaw.

"Just choose properly, Taehyung, if you don't want to have a reunion with your brother in jail. You don't want to end up in jail, do you?" Karen grinned.

She stood up, wiping her lips with the tissue. She looks at Taehyung with a smirk on her lips.

"I'll wait for your decision, don't worry, I'll give you enough time to decide." Karen smiled innocently.

She leave the coffee shop as if she didn't threaten Taehyung. Meanwhile, Jimin was not far from them heard everything. He was kind of accidentally heard them, Taehyung was lost in himself and didn't notice Jimin sitting on one chair while reading a newspaper and drinking coffee.

Jungkook's class ended, he wasn't planning to go to his hyung's coffee shop. He wants to be alone for now.

"Jungkook"

He heard a familiar voice, he looks at the woman in front of him.

"What are you doing here?" Jungkook asked, clenching his fist.

"I see, you are studying very well." Moonchae uttered.

"I'm asking you, what are you doing here?!" Jungkook asked yelling, earning the attention of some students.

"To see you, I told you I want to talk with you." Moonchae replied

"There's nothing we need to talk about, woman." Jungkook sternly retorted.

"Whatever you do, forget me, hate me. I'm still your mother, you can't change it." Moonchae stated

"And I hate it, I hate the fact that you are my mother! I wished you are not!" Jungkook retorted, clenching his jaw.

"Hate me as long as you want, I understand it. But Jungkook, trust me, I regret it, I regret leaving you alone. That's why I'm here to apologize and I want to start with you." Moonchae stated.

"Regret? After many years? You just now regret everything? Wow, nice lies. Do you want me to trust you after what you did to me?" Jungkook laughed bitterly.

"Tell me what I need to do so you can forgive me. I want you to trust me again, Jungkook." Moonchae uttered.

"Leave me alone, I don't need you in my life. That's what I want." Jungkook simply replied.

He left her without waiting for her reply.
