April Star's POV

  I'm sitting in class, Mr Hoofington talking about writing an essay about our future career. I know I'm gonna ace it...when I find a good career. Yah, I wanna be a world renowned author, but you can't just POOF world renowned author!

   At least I do good in this class. Science and Technology are my downfall. I just can never understand science, and technology is even more confusing!

  Sun Spirits sits quietly in the corner, as usual.. Pixel flash is staring at his phone, then looks at me. I blush. Rockheart and Musica are sharing earbuds and jamming to music. It seems only I'm paying attention.

  "I can't believe school ends in under a month!" Meowlody whispers to me. The purple pegasus thne proceeds to blow her green mane out of her eyes.

  "I know." I whisper back. "And in 3 1/2 weeks I have to choose my college or university because deadlines."

  "Woah, that's gonna be super hard." Meowlody marvels. "I have a year to decide! I can't wait to be a senior."

  Then it hits me. "How are you and Musica in this class?"

  She smiles than informs me. "In 7th grade we took pre algebra. In 8th grade we took 9th grade classes and so on."
I nod.

  The bell rings and it's chaos as we all gallop to our lockers (well, the pegasi fly) to grab our stuff and leave. Me, Musica, and Rockheart run to find Galaxy Run and Night Catcher .

We get outside the school and find the two smiling at each other. "OMG OMG OMG I HAVE SOME EPIC NEWS!" Night Catcher says, bouncing up and down.

"What?" Musica asks, clearly excited now.

"AK Yearling is having a book signing today, at the Sunny Days Bookstore!!!" Night Catcher and Galaxy Run in unison.

"No. Way." I say, my inner fangirl starting up.

"Yes way!!" Galaxy Run cheers. "You in?"

"TOTALLY!" I yell, getting some looks from other ponies.

Musica and Meowlody nod in agreement.

"Rockheart?" Night Catcher asks. "You in?"

"Sorry." Rockheart replies. "Vynil is coming here with Sound Wave and we're gonna preform at a night club. We gotta do some practice. You know it's hard to get a music gig here in Philadelphia."

We all nod.

"Wanna go to SunBucks before we go to the book signing?" I ask.

"SURE!" Everyone cheers, then we all laugh.

"Well, you better get going. There's gonna be a long, forming line." Rockheart chuckles before leaving.

Then we're off.
