Aanchal reached Aarohi's school. She has to wait for sometime as their dance practice is going on. She was standing near the main gate watching her phone.

"Excuse me Miss. Goswami" She looked up from her phone to see a women standing maybe waiting for her child

"Yes. Can I help u" Aanchal asked politely

"Actually we never met your husband here. Today the fathers had an gathering, and the boy who came to drop Aarohi was her uncle" That women asked raising her brow.

"Maybe she is more interested in knowing about my personal life" Aanchal thought

"Look Mrs. I don't know who u are but still I think that's my person matter and I don't want to open it up with everyone" Aanchal replied and went far away that lady

"What does she think of herself not telling about her husband doesn't hide the fact that her child is illegitimate poor that child she doesn't know about the work or their parents" That lady started cursing Aanchal for Aarohi's birth

"Maybe that lady too belonged to India cause these type of typical thoughts are of those Indian aunties whom I don't like at all" Aanchal muttered under her breath seeing her expression from far a distance but couldn't hear her talks properly

After sometime the school bell rang and all the children came out running. Aanchal too went to main gate. There she saw that Aarohi was coming out talking with one of her friend but suddenly that girl ran from there to her father and her father twirled her picking her up in his arms. Seeing this Aarohi's face fell and Aanchal was also sad

"This you should have thought before that mistake with your boyfriend I know Aarohi is illegitim..." The same lady was speaking but before she could complete illegitimate she fell on the ground and a loud sound of slap echoed in her ears making her ears go deaf for few seconds.

She held her ears for sometime to get normal. Aarohi came there running

"Mamma what happened" Aarohi asked in a concerned voice for that lady

"Nothing dear its only the return gift of what she did" Aanchal replied looking at the lady who still seemed deaf and couldn't hear.

Aanchal picked Aarohi up in hee arms and started walking towards her car
But not before saying "take her to a hospital or she might loose her ability to hear after today" and Aanchal left with Aarohi

Here the lady started shouting around that she couldn't hear anything. Her husband and daughter immediately took her to the hospital

"Mamma why did you slapped that aunt so hard she is my bestie's mother" Aarohi said pouting sitting on the dining table where her mother is feeding her

Hearing Aarohi's question Abhinav's head shot up

"What she is telling Aanchal" Abhinav asked Aanchal the reason of her behavior

"Yes mamu today mamma slapped Siya's mamma very hard that she fell on the ground" Aarohi complained to her mamu

"Aaru your food is done go and keep the plates in the sink I will come after talking to mamu okay" Aanchal said politely and kissed Aarohi's cheeks

"Okay mamma" Aarohi jumped down from her mother's lap and ran taking the plate from the table

"Careful Aaru" Aanchal shouted from behind

"Now say what's the matter" Abhinav asked seriously

"When I reached Aaru's school the guard informed that school will be dismissed a little later today due to their practice. I was simply watching my phone then suddenly that lady came from nowhere and ......" Aanchal narrated the whole incident

"How dare she call Aarohi illegitimate" Aanchal said and punched the table out of anger and frustration while Abhinav sighed

"Look Aanchal the way she spoke might be wrong but according to the society its right" abhinav held her shoulder and tried to make her understand

"I don't care about this so called society why only sees girls as wrong and boys as right just fuck off that society which couldn't understand the feelings of a little child and call her illegitimate" Aanchal said while arranging the dishes and went to the kitchen

Abhinav went behind her

"Aanchal calm down look your hand is bleeding" Abhinav tried to stop Aanchal from hurting herself more else Aanchal took a bowl full of salt and dipped her hand on that

"AANCHAL have you lost your mind" Abhinav's shouting went deaf hear to Aanchal due to the pain she was suffering

She took the dish washing detergent and rubbed in her hands making tears flow from her eyes uncomfortably

"Enough Aanchal" Forcefully Abhinav pulled her hand and put in under the tap water and washed the soap and salt. He carefully dried her hand and applied medicine

"Look Aanchal its not like I am saying that lady did right its just this questions are obvious and with how many persons will u do this" Abhinav said after completing his work and cupping her face

"Everyone... I will break everyone's face who will say bad about my Aaru. It was my fault why should she suffer for this" Aanchal said emotionlessly but from inside crying over her fate

"Don't cry Aanchal you can't change the society let them be on their state and you live your life" Abhinav said while Aanchal nodded

"Now u take rest it is needed" Abhinav made her lay on bed and covered her the blanket and moved out of the room
