Gauri's POV:

Every person has something they're good at, right?

And whatever that person is good at, that thing can provide them a lot of opportunities.

Someone might be really good at school. And if school is the thing they are really good at, then they will get a lot of opportunities for a scholarship from a well-reputed university. That can change their life.

Someone might be really good at hockey. And if being good at hockey is their thing, then they might have a really high chance of a scout recruiting them to play for a team that can change their life.

That's the thing I guess when you have something you're good at. Whatever you are good at, let it be acting, hockey, cricket, school, fashion, this, that, etc....it can change your life.

So what's my thing you may be wondering?

Well....my thing is dance. Dance has always been something I've been good at for as long as I can remember. Without dance, I'm....well I'm simply just breathing, not living. Dancing was my heaven on Earth, moments of bliss that lifted me up and showed me that I was more than a match for gravity.

I just wish certain people - like my entire family except for my dad - could see that dance makes me happy.

My dad always supported me in my dance dream. The amount of support he gave me was never too much nor was it too little. He always gave me the perfect amount of support for dance to keep me motivated and happy with my passion.

Om's POV:

I grew up in a household where I am the only guy in my family. I grew up in a household of women who danced. There was never a day that went by without my mother, my sisters or my Dadi taking me by the hands to waltz or dance around the room. Music was on from first light to last. In a way it flowed through them and between them, creating bonds stronger than the walls of the temple.

Dance has always been a part of my life - it's just...sometimes things happen and when things happen, it's essential for your passion to just become a memory.

A very fond, distant memory.

And it stays a memory because of fear.

If there was one thing that I wish someone told me about fear is that it can easily overtake you. It can take over every cell in your body, every nerve, your heart, your mind etc. I wish I was told that fear is a clever, treacherous adversary. It has no decency, respects no law or convention, shows no mercy. It goes for your weakest spot, which it finds with unnerving ease.

I just wish that I didn't give into my fear.

Long story short, your amazing Aishani is on bedrest (surprise!) Why is she on strict bedrest? Well I decided it would be a great idea to faint and get everyone in my apartment worried. Don't worry I just got a fever which is slowly going down mixed with the loveliness of iron deficiency (yay!). So anyway whilst on bedrest, I decided to write this because I was bored.

Hope you all liked it though :)
