Steve looks over at an annoyed and angry Herobrine and was concerned for his safety "you let your fear control you like that... and both me and James told you to run... and now that me and James know your type of cancer is attacking your bloodstream now your going to be stuck in the hospital..." Herobrine said while hissing in anger "I can't help but be afraid of my own dad... and now I know I'm going to die..." Steve replied yet his tone was filled with regret and a hint that he felt like giving up "Steve..." Herobrine said giving Steve an odd reassuring look but it seems he's trying to understand "how are you able to get these surges of emotions and these feelings out of me anyways... when concern and anger ran through me like that... I never knew that was possible..." Herobrine added getting Steve to look at him "how the fuck should I know...?" Steve asks but his tone made Herobrine stare at him with concern "Steve... don't you ever think about giving up..." Herobrine said causing Steve to flinch realizing Herobrine can read through his thoughts if they were a strong enough emotion since he's not from Minecraftia so it must take a lot of energy to keep the connection to Steve and this world "I'm dying Herobrine... and I'm mentally suffering... why can't you just end it for me...?" Steve replies "because I can't and I won't... you deserve to fucking live..." Herobrine growls then says "wake up..." causing Steve to jolt awake in the hospital bed in panic to see a doctor who was checking on him "oh my... didn't mean to cause your body to panic like that... I'll adjust the medication..." the doctor says which changes the dosage and to help Steve relax "look Steve without this medication you'll be in severe pain... that man did some serious damage to your head..." the doctor states to which Steve asks "is it a concussion...?" The doctor only nods to the question "but you also have cancer in your bloodstream... though this means that you have a tough fight ahead of you..." the doctor says which Steve nods to "um... the man who attacked me... was my abusive father who disowned me..." once Steve says this the doctor seemed to be upset about it "that means that the man has more criminal charges against him..." the doctor replies.

Once the doctor and Steve agree on a chemotherapy treatment plan was when Steve was able to properly relax "now hopefully the chemotherapy works... and your body doesn't disagree with it..." Herobrine suddenly says causing Steve to flinch a little "geez... you haven't spoken at all when the doctor was in here..." Steve states but he gets a grunt from Herobrine "you wouldn't have been paying attention to what he was saying at all then..." Herobrine replied  "are you mad at me...?" Steve asks to which Herobrine sighs "I'm not sure anymore... my anger seemed to have been triggered due to the fucker that is your dad... who I can say is pathetic... and I'm pissed at myself for not stopping you two from going passed that bar..." Herobrine growls the last part "but you didn't know that my father was there... neither did me or James... it's not your fault..." Steve says trying to get Herobrine to not feel guilty about letting Steve get hurt "but I should have connected the dots when we were getting close to that bar... to at least say something..." Herobrine replied sounding like a loyal dog who failed "Herobrine... I'm not mad at you..." Steve says "but you should be... what kind of Boyfriend would I be then...?" Herobrine states making Steve blush "I don't know if we are a couple yet Herobrine... but we can try to work it out..." Steve says trying to calm Herobrine down "really...?" Herobrine asks and seems to sound like a lost puppy "really..." Steve replied which he heard Herobrine hum and an odd nuzzle like feeling was on Steve's cheek "your cuddly and dangerous huh...?" Steve asks to which Herobrine chuckles a little at that "I guess you can say that Stevie..." Herobrine replied and the nickname causes Steve to blush but he was glad that he could cheer Herobrine up a little bit "sorry for making you panic Herobrine..." Steve says when Herobrine stops what he was doing "don't do that again okay...?" Herobrine says "freeze up in fear...?" Steve asks "no... to let anyone hurt you... or let any bastards grind you down... your important to me and James..." Herobrine replied.

The doctor comes back into the room with a small amount of chemotherapy medication and Herobrine grunts but let's the doctor have Steve's attention for now but he listens in and what he heard wasn't good news and it filled him with anger and sadness because Steve was dying and the chemotherapy might not even work but the doctor said that it was worth a try but if there is no improvement then Steve would suffer and Herobrine felt like he let Steve down but he hoped once he gets Steve to his world that Steve would live and not suffer anymore but he doesn't say anything when the doctor was in the room but he wanted to apologize to Steve to which he felt odd about since what was going on was making his emotions go haywire and it caused inner conflict in him so when the doctor leaves he repeatedly apologizes which Steve had to repeatedly say "it's alright..." to which Herobrine knew it wasn't "I wasn't expecting my body to have an actual reaction to that small amount of medication that they had me try... but hopefully it won't stop the treatment..." Steve says to which Herobrine sensed Steve was unsure of it as well but Herobrine could do nothing but to comfort and reassure Steve but sometimes he feels like it wasn't enough "he probably might try different ways of doing the chemotherapy treatment... and probably keep an eye on your dosage... since looks like your stuck at the hospital..." Herobrine says to which Steve responded by saying "for the rest of my life by the looks of it..." and Herobrine can hear the misery in Steve's voice meaning his pain medication was loosing its effect and the sudden crushing pain caused Steve to whimper and Herobrine hated it "please feel better Stevie... I'm here..." Herobrine says trying to get Steve's mind off the pain to which Steve felt grateful that Herobrine was doing but he needed more medication but has to wait for another dose for a while so he doesn't accidentally overdose and fuck up his kidneys or liver though the pain was really demanding but Herobrine tries his best to soothe and comfort Steve to which he soon notices that Steve fell asleep "I'll see you in your dreams Stevie..." Herobrine says then goes silent.
