Robin knew she had made a mistake when Valt fell asleep.

He snored, really badly.

They were headed to El Astro first in Wakiya's purple jet. Half of the bladers weren't awake, including Shu. Somehow, he was peacefully sleeping with his arms around Valt, ignoring the loud snores. Robin guessed that it wasn't the first time, which made her smirk.

Her white hair swished across her neck as she looked back down to her drawing and Phoenix. Currently, it had an orange and red energy layer with two flames like Phoenix wings on it. The wingtips protruded from the edge, which made the flip trick easier to do. The dark grey forge disk was perfectly circular and the black driver was cone shaped with a ball on the end. So how could the design be improved?

Well, in a decorative way, there could be an actual Phoenix instead of just flames. The tail and wings could be placed at one-third intervals around the energy layer. Metal is allowed on energy layers, but it slowed the blade down, so small metal flames were probably the answer. As for the forge disk, it needed to be like her previous beyblade's, or Lui's. Flames around the edges, slightly smaller than the energy layer. The thin plastic of the driver could stand to be stronger. There were already miniature cracks in it. Phoenix couldn't stand for much longer that way, so that really needed to be fixed.

Robin added a couple designs to the evolved drawing for Phoenix. She and Phoenix agreed after they got into BC Sol- if she got in, she would evolve the bey. This was only if it seemed that the current form of Phoenix wasn't strong enough to compete in the international clubs.

Daigo leaned over her drawing, startling her. "Nice. Are you sure that driver should be metal? It'll seriously slow her down." Her boyfriend shrugged and started braiding a strand of her hair as she worked. His fluffy black tail curled around her.

She changed a stronger kind of plastic instead and he nodded in approval, his ears twitching towards her. "Looks good. No change on the forge disc?"

"Actually, I just haven't gotten to drawing it yet," Robin replied. "It's going to be like my previous bey, so Lui's forge disc."

Daigo smiled, then brought out a piece of paper. "Well, I've actually been thinking the same thing too."

It was clearly a picture of his bey, Dark Doomscizor, but... different. Half the energy layer was white, half was black, with a clear plastic film overtop. Dark purple things that looked like mini ribs clutched a pale blue circle. Triangular-shaped things that looked like scythes, one over the other. A jagged dark blue streak of what looked like lightning slashed across each scythe.

"Damn," Robin mumbled. "That's crazy awesome."

Daigo looked pleased with himself as he took out more colored pencils. His tail twined around his beyblade as he looked at the improvements and nodded to himself. "That should be good."

Robin smiled at him, fingering her necklace.

Valt gave another obnoxious snore, and she gritted her teeth and tried not to kill him. "If he doesn't shut up, I swear, I'll take his bey and chuck it out of the plane."

Instantly, she felt pressure in her head and winced. An angry Valkyrie was yelling at her already, her orange eyes glowing. Her dark fists swung at Phoenix, who was blocking everything as fast as she could. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'LL THROW ME OUT OF THE JET? Valkyrie raged. YOU'D BETTER NOT OR I'LL KILL YA!

Robin sighed, rubbing the skin just above her ears in circles. She didn't have time for a headache today. Just wake Valt up.

Well... Valkyrie considered it. I suppose he does snore a lot. How Shu sleeps through it, I don't know.

Valt sat up with a yelp, and everyone on the plane- bar Shu- gave a sigh of relief. Wakiya barged out of the cockpit where he had been flying the plane and yelled, "Finally you're awake! God, never sleep around us again!"

Shu Kurenai sat up, yawning and stretching. "Hmm? What's going on?"

Honcho ran out of the cockpit too. "Shu! How did you sleep through that!?! It's not possible!"

He smiled groggily and curled back up. This must have been the first time in a while he'd had a good night's rest, probably since the team tournaments. "Because I've had practice," he mumbled, and fell back asleep.

Everyone was dead silent. Valt's face turned a brilliant shade of red, even brighter than Phoenix's energy layer. Robin vaguely remembered that Shu acted drunk if he was woken up.

Daigo held up his phone and replayed the video, and everyone but Shalt burst out laughing.

Shu's eyes snapped open again, and this time he was really, really annoyed. "Shut up. Especially you, Wakiya. What were you and Honcho doing in the cockpit anyways?"

More silence, especially at the fact he had dared to make a dirty joke in front of the most innocent Aoi. Then Robin snickered and everyone was laughing again.

Valt peered out the window and jumped up and down. "I can see stuff! Is that Spain?"

Everyone else ran to the windows too. Wakiya went back to the cockpit to check on the autopilot.

Robin immediately knew it was Spain, somehow. Probably from the giant castle-looking thing that had a sun on the front of it. They were flying low enough to see houses, but into people. "Yo, Wakiya! Can we land yet!"

His voice sounded from the front of the jet. "Do you want to wreck my beautiful metal tube? We're going to find a flat spot first, stupid!"

Shu sighed and looked at the floor. He was twisting several pieces of string together over and over again, tying the two pieces of his energy layer together. "Valt."

The blue-haired boy looked up, yellow headband sparkling. "Yes?"

"Get onto the team and do your best," the albino said, voice tinged with something that Robin didn't understand. "Please. Maybe I'll be able to see you soon."

"You'll text?" Valt checked.

"Yes."

"Skype?"

"Of course."

"Send pictures?"

"Um..." Shu turned red. "I'll show you my new beyblade and the Raging Bulls and stuff."

Valt crushed him in a hug, and Robin and Daigo looked at each other. No words were exchanged. They knew each other well enough to know what the other wanted to say.

"Make the team," Daigo said finally.

"Make it to the world league," Robin agreed.

"And I'll see you later," they said in unison, smiling.

The jet touched ground with barely a bump. The doors opened, showing them a world of green, and beyond that, a city.

"This is El Astro!" Wakiya yelled. "Now you losers who go here, get off my plane!"

Valt and Robin waved goodbye, then began walking through the forest. The jet was still on the ground, then it lifted off into the crowds.

They looked at the approaching, glittering city together and nodded.

"BC Sol, here we come!"
