Jai pinned the saree pallu to her shoulder and bend down to make the saree pleats more crisp with his fingers thus draping her saree completely.

"Bava.. you should open a beauty parlour..."
Vennela joked.

"I can do that. But would you like it ?😉"
He winked.

"Yes. Why not?.... "

Soon she frowned understanding.

"Beauty parlour only for me. Other girls are restricted. 🤨😏"  She smirked.

Jai laughed knowing his possessive wife.

"See..i knew it. But just consider it. We can make more money as there will be so many customers.😂"

She glared at him.

"Then I'll also open a parlour for men. So we both can make extra income.😏"

"Dare you do that bangaram"

"Dare you do that too, bava"

"Ok ok... calm down. My angry baby"
He pecked her lips softly.

"Hmm...better you dont make me angry.."

"Okay madam. Now let me do some make up for my queen"

She smiled hearing that while Jai made her sit infront of the dressing table.
He did minimal make up on her. He lined her lotus petal-like eyes with kajal and applied a light lip gloss on her natural pink lips.

"I feel like eating you now.."

She widened her eyes.

"You are so irresistible !"

"Not now bavu... we will be late if you start and i.. i will be.. so sore....🙈"

she bent her eyes shyly.

"I know..."

He chuckled making her wear two bangles on each hands, bent down to unhook the old anklet and took a new pair of anklets from pocket and hooked around her feet.

"Bava..😳"

she smiled surprised and shook her feet to hear the jingling sound.

"Did you like it ?"

"Of course i loved it😍"

She twirled around doing a happy dance making him chuckle at her antics🤭❤

"Wait something is missing"

She stopped confused.

"What is missing ?"

Jai took a pinch of kumkum from the dressing table and applied sindoor on her hair partition which made her close her eyes with a beautiful smile.

"Its perfect now❤"

"I know..because im your wife."

Vennela smiled and rested her head on his chest hearing his soothing heartbeats while Jai kissed her head.

"Now let me dress up. You sit here"

He said making her sit on the bed.

He took off the tshirt and pants he was wearing leaving him only in boxers, making her gulp at his perfectly toned physique.

"Ba..va... what..are you doing ?😳🙈"

She closed her face with her palms in shyness.

"Going to dress up, bangaruu.. we have to go to temple no ?"

Jai said casually while taking the ironed panche.

"But..🙈"

she shook her head which made him chuckle..

"I see my wife found something fascinating. But we have seen ourselves already.. 😌"

"Sshh.. chi..po.. you shameless.🙈"

Jai laughed and started tying the panche.

Vennela found him struggling with it and took the panche in her arms and tied it for him.

He pulled her closer making their chests collide and kissed her neck deeply making her close her eyes holding his shoulder tightly.

"Thank you.."   he whispered in her ears and she bit her lips nodding.

He wore the shirt and she buttoned it up for him.

"What are you looking at bavu ?"

"You are glowing like a goddess.😍"

"Too cheesy Mr husband"

She pushed him lightly and sat on the bed.

He winked at her combing his hair, tied watch and applied her favourite cologne.

"I will have to shoo all bees from the jaggery today😒"

"Me too. If someone eyes my wife badly, ill gouge their eyes out"

She pouted and both of them laughed by making their way downstairs to see whole family gathered in the living room.

Everyone commented on how well both Jai and Vennela were made for each other and took drishti off them.

Vennela's happiness was reflected on her face as she entered the temple premises.

She jumped and ran inside not waiting for anyone which made everyone chuckle.

"She behaves like a kid still😂"

Her mother commented.

"That's why i love her, atteya❤"

She smiled at him.

Its been 4 months since their wedding and they had came from Hyderabad to Rentachintala to celebrate their temple festival.

Both of them walked holding hand in hand and prayed to god almighty for the happiness and prosperity of their family.

Vennela applied sandalwood paste on Jai's forehead and he applied the same for her.

"Bava... lets go there..🤩"

Before he could even answer, she literally dragged him to the man who was selling balloons.

He bought two balloons for her which made her happy and seeing her Jai was also happy.

He bought few glass bangles and filled her hands with some of it.

"I forgot to which goddess i prayed to.. "
Jai said.

"Huh ? What bava ?"

"I probably thought you were the goddess and must have prayed to you😙"

"Again cheesy husband"

"Your husband" He winked.

"Only mine..❤"

she mumbled and pouted.

Jai bought few things for his family, gave hair accessories and bangles to small kids present there which made all of them happy while Vennela adored her hubby and the way he behaved as a kid between kids.

"Bavu.. i want that hot crispy onion bajji....it looks yum"

He smiled and took her to the stall and bought a small plate for her and paid the money.

They went to a corner to eat it.

Jai fed her first and she fed after him.

But soon Vennela felt her stomach churning.

She covered her mouth and ran aside which made Jai drop the plate to the floor and follow her.

He rubbed her back in worry as she threw up everything she ate.

He bought a bottle of water and made her wash her mouth and wiped it with his handkerchief.

"What happened baby ?"

He hugged her closer while she rested her body on him loosely, feeling all tired.

"I..i dont know bavu.. i..."

"Sssh..lets go home"

"Umm..i want..to stay here.."

"No. You are so tired"

By then whole family gathered around them. He informed them what had happened and all of them retired back to family worried about her.

Vennela laid on the bed with Jai and her mom sitting on either side. Others were standing.

"Bangaram.... lets have some food. You had threw up everything you had. I guess that bajji wasnt good"

"No..ba..va.. i just wanna sleep sometime"

His heart sank down seeing his ever chirpy wife like this.

"Okay. But do you feel like having something ?"

"Ummm...i want orange juice"

"I'll bring vennu"

Saying her mother went to the kitchen.

She felt a lot better after having the juice and didnt have anything else even though others suggested to have dinner.
Jai had at her compulsion.

Next morning while having breakfast also, her stomach churned while tasting the chutney which made her threw up all the food.

"I'm taking her to the hospital, atteya"

"Yes Jai..i was about to say that"

She had vomited twice.

"Nooo.. i dont like hospital, bava .."
She made puppy eyes at him.

"Dont worry. They wont do anything to you. Im with you no"

After making many faces, finally Vennela agreed to go to hospital.

They reached nearby hospital in the village and waited for the doctor to call them. She was playing with her fingers tensed when Jai took her palm into his and patted assuring her not to worry.

Soon they were called into the doctor's room.

"Good morning doctor. I'm Jai and this is my wife, Vennela. She threw up her food yesterday night and today morning and is feeling all tired which is very unusual of her"

Doctor nodded hearing him attentively.

"Jai ..i need to get some tests done with her
Can you please wait here ?"

"Of course doctor. I'll be here"

Vennela reluctantly went with doctor.
Jai's tension was increasing.

God...nothing should happen to her..he prayed.

After some ten minutes, Vennela came out adjusting her saree and sat beside Jai bending her head playing with fingers.

"What had happened to her, doctor ?"

He asked as soon as the doctor sat infront of them.

"She is fine, Jai. Just follow this diet plan and dont let her do heavy works. And get these tablets too"

She prescribed some medicines which they bought from store and got in the car.

He started the car and saw her silent.

"Bangaram...what actually happe..."

She interrupted him.

"Bava...stop the car here"

He stopped the car infront of the rockside paddy field where Vennela used to sit waiting for Jai during the past.

Jai followed her. She closed her eyes and smiled taking in the fresh breath which made him smile too.

"Bava..."

"Yes bangaruu.."

She took his palm and kept it over her belly.

"Get ready to be troubled by us, nana."

She whispered while Jai was too stunned to speak and kept looking at her belly and back at her face.

"What ??!!!😳"

Vennela tiptoed on her feet and whispered in his ears,

"You are going to be a father soon, bava.🙈"

Her cheeks turned red and his eyes welled up when the sudden realisation hit him.

Jai cupped her face to see her happy tears on her cheeks already. He smothered kisses all over her face and lifted her up, twirled her in his arms making her giggle.

"Oh my god ! Thank you so much bangaruu...this is the bestest news ever😍❤ and congratulations for becoming a mother"

"I did not become a mother, yet"

Vennela blushed.

"Yes. But soon you will be"

"Then congratulations for becoming a father too"

She winked and rested her head on his chest, her safest place while both sat on the rock watching the paddy field telling about their future life with kids.

"I asked doctor not to tell you about this..because i wanted to reveal the news"

He smiled humming.

"How many weeks pregnant, but ?"

"3 weeks"

He bent down and kissed her belly.

"Our baby is in here"

"Yes..baby was here since 3 weeks .."

she smiled caressing his hair.

"Now you have to be more careful. No jumping or running around"

"I cannot sit idle like that😗" She pouted.

"You've to. You can walk around too. But no running or jumping. No riding my bike, car.." his list went on making her frown and she smacked his head.

"Ouch ! Also you cannot smack baby's father"

"I will smack and do more better you take care of your mouth😏"

He chuckled and stood up, giving hands for her to stand too.

"Whole family and village will be happy knowing this news"

Jai exclaimed in happiness.

"I know, bava.. ☺"

Vennela just gave a beautiful tired smile.

He carried her to the car in her arms and made her sit gently on the seat.

"Arey ..I'm not handicapped, bava. I could have walked"

"But you are carrying our baby. So ive to take care of you both"

She shook her head smiling and they headed back home.

Everyone were waiting for them and when they reached they bombarded questions which made them chuckle.

"All of you please calm down...🤭"

"What did the doctor say?"

Deva, Jai's father asked.

"Nana.. actually..we have a good news.."

He entwined his hands with hers and looked at Vennela to see her smiling and blushing.

"Nana, atteya and mavaiyya are going to become grandparents soon"

The news sank in and whole family jumped in happiness and hugged Jai and Vennela congratulating them.

"So our little prince or princess will be born soon🤩"

Pinni shouted in happiness making everyone nod and smile.

"Thats the reason for her morning sickness.. how did we even forget this possibility"

Atteya said making her blush again.

The ladies took Vennela somewhere for which Jai cursed in his mind.

Soon sweets were distributed to everyone at the house and everyone passed by their home, to people who were working there and all. For the whole village literally.

After few days they got back to Hyderabad as Jai had to manage office. They already had a maid appointed at home.

After a month, he took her for the checkup and did ultrasound..

Vennela held his palm and both of them looked at the screen to see their baby with teary eyes. But Jai frowned.

Doctor made them hear the heartbeat sound... two hearts were beating at the same time.

"Jai...Vennela... you are not carrying one,but two babies..It is twins for you"

Doctor explained.

He covered his mouth looking at the screen, happy tears already occupied their cheeks..and kissed on her forehead.

Jai and Vennela was on cloud nine so were the family.

She felt two kicks on her belly making her startled and come to the present..

"Started you two.. to trouble mamma😗"

She scolded them smiling, caressing her bump.

"When would you both come out? Mamma and nana are waiting so badly"

Vennela talked earning more kicks.

"Ouch! Calm down... i know you both are so excited like us"

She felt tiny palms and feet on her belly making her giggle.

"Seems like mamma is so happy today. What's the joke ? Share with me too."

Jai asked coming inside the room holding a glass of banana smoothie for her.

"See your babies..both are hell bent in troubling me... like their nana."

She pouted.

He smiled and knelt down lifting her shirt up and kissed the bump.

"Oh really. Then lets trouble mamma more. What say babies.. 😉"

He saw both of them moving so actively inside her which made him smile wide.

"They would only team up with you it seems.😗"

"Come out soon my tiny munchkins😘😘😘😘😘😘"

Jai kissed her bump continuously making her giggle as she felt tickles from his beard and moustache.

He gave her banana smoothie as otherwise she would make faces to eat bananas or drink milk.

She drank it while Jai talked to his babies cutely making her giggle sometimes.

"I want my kutty Vennelas in my arms very soon"

"And i want my kutty Jai too"  She pouted.

"Yes. If we have girls this time, im ready to give a kutty Jai for you the next time"

He winked.

"So shameless..bava.. 😏🙈"

"Now have this soon and i've to get you ready"

He rubbed cocoa butter cream on her baby bump for the itchiness she felt lately during pregnancy.

Vennela enjoyed all the pampering she was getting from her husband.

"Did you already forget that its your baby shower today..?"

"Why would i remember when I've a husband who remembers everything ?!😌"

"Aahan😂"

"Yesss.. my sweetest husband.😙"

She pinched his cheeks.
