Prompt: A sophisticated ancient Egyptian chases a jumping llama on a busy Weekend.

"Rania!" Professor Thornton said. "Catch that llama!" Rania looked up; sure enough, a llama was bounding away whilst the professor was hopelessly trying to catch it. The llama jumped right past Rania, scaring the poor donkey Sanji. Thornton was out of breath by the time he reached the wagon.

"Why are you chasing a llama ustaath?" Rania asked. Michael was not used to running in Egypt and now he bore a striking resemblance to an overripe tomato.

"He has my bag," he replied. Rania raised an eyebrow.

"And how did the llama get the bag? Did he become a master thief?" She smiled.

"Never mind how he got it!" Michael replied. "It has the scarab beetles in it!" Rania didn't wait to hear another word. She took off after the llama.

Those scarab beetles had taken them almost three years to track down and excavate. The scarab beetles were not only priceless historical artifacts, they were also made of solid gold and covered in sapphire gems. They were the only reason that her father was still funding Professor Thornton's crazy ventures. Her father In'am Khalid had not been thrilled when Rania had started accompanying Thornton on his wild adventures, he would be even less pleased when he heard that she was chasing a llama down a crowded bazaar in Egypt.

The llama had been easy to catch up to; it was proving much harder to catch. Rania's focus was solely on the llama, so much so that she did not notice the obstacle in her way until she was facing the clear blue sky. A vendor had moved her cart into the path and Rania had barreled straight into it, knocking it over. Scarves of all different colors floated onto the dusty road like silk winged butterflies. Rania pushed a handful of coins into the woman's hand when she started to protest the damage to her wares.

Looking around, Rania could not find the llama anywhere. "Has anyone seen a llama?" She asked the gathering crowd. Some raised their eyebrows; others looked away with expressions of both pity and amusement. Rania guessed that she looked more than a little crazy. Her outfit coated in dust, her hair disheveled, and she was asking about a llama.

"A llama?" A little boy said. "That one up there?" Rania spun around. The cheeky little llama was standing on top of one of the stone buildings.

"Stay there!" She shouted at it. The llama made a happy humming noise to itself and jumped to the roof of the next building. She turned to the crowd around her. "I need a ladder."

"Here." A large man with a thick mustache and beard handing her a wooden ladder.

"Shokran," she said.

"That'll be 2 pounds," the man said. Rania cursed under her breath. "And they call us thieves." She tossed the coins to the man and pushed the ladder against the building.

She reached the top of the building and started racing across the rooftop, trying to catch up to the llama. Rania jumped the gap between the two buildings and hit the roof, rolling into a stand. The llama stood there, watching her with thoughtful brown eyes. It had dirty white fur with dark brown patches.

"You," she pointed a finger at the llama. "Stay there." The llama hummed and shook its head, the bag around its neck swinging.

This is one that I really like and want to turn into a big long multichapter piece... someday...
