Ray took a deep breath, the chill of the night air cutting through her as she stared at her phone screen,

InnoTech Dynamics, once a thriving company, now stood at the brink of uncertainty. The heir to the empire, Jungkook, had gone missing after the tragic demise of his father.

As she walked towards the serene area by the river, the dim glow of her phone illuminating her path, Ray couldn't shake off the heaviness in her chest. The night sky, dotted with stars, seemed to hold a silent secret, and the river flowed like a mirror reflecting the somber moonlight.

As Ray approached the familiar spot where she often sought solace, her gaze caught a silhouette leaning against the grass, eyes fixed on the vast expanse of the night sky. Her heart skipped a beat when she recognized the figure –

Jungkook.

"Jungkook?" Ray called out softly, her voice carrying concern and surprise.

Jungkook turned towards her, his eyes reflecting a mixture of sorrow and vulnerability. His face, usually composed and stoic, now bore the weight of grief. Ray approached him cautiously, not wanting to intrude on the private moment he seemed to be having.

"Ray," Jungkook whispered, his voice strained. "I didn't expect anyone to find me here."

Ray sat down beside him, sensing the need for companionship in the midst of his solitude. The river whispered its calming melody, and the stars above twinkled as witnesses to their encounter.

Ray didn't know where to start from so she just went with the flow

"I read about your father," Ray began gently, placing a comforting hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "I can't imagine what you're going through right now."

Jungkook looked away, his gaze fixed on the distant horizon.

He took a deep breathe before starting  "It's been tough, Ray. My father's sudden death, the responsibilities that have fallen on me – it's overwhelming."

Ray nodded, understanding the weight of his words. "It's okay not to be okay, Jungkook. Losing someone you love is never easy, and there's no right or wrong way to grieve."

Jungkook sighed, his shoulders slumping. "I've been trying to hold it together, for the company, for everyone. But , I needed to escape, to breathe."

Ray gave him a reassuring smile. "Sometimes, the night sky can be a friend in these moments. It listens without judgment and offers solace in its silence."

They sat in quiet companionship, gazing at the stars, as if sharing the weight of the world in that serene moment. Ray sensed Jungkook's need for someone to lean on, to share his pain with.

"You know," Ray said softly, "it's okay to show your vulnerable side. It doesn't make you weak; it makes you human. Your father would understand."

Jungkook's eyes welled up, and a single tear escaped, glistening in the moonlight. "I miss him, Ray. I miss his guidance, his laughter. The house feels empty without him."

Ray took his hand in hers, offering a gentle squeeze. "You don't have to face this alone, Jungkook. Lean on the people who care about you, who want to be there for you."

A moment of silence lingered between them before Jungkook spoke again, his voice softer. "Ray, I don't want to be alone in that house. It's filled with memories of my father, and the emptiness is suffocating."

Ray looked into his eyes, seeing the raw vulnerability that he seldom showed to the world. "You don't have to be alone, Jungkook. Stay with me for as long as you need."

Jungkook hesitated for a moment before finally nodding. "I appreciate that, Ray. I don't want to burden you, but I could use some company."

"It's not a burden," Ray assured him with a warm smile. "We all need support, especially in difficult times."

Jungkook nodded, a mixture of gratitude and relief washing over him.

As the night unfolded, Ray became the anchor Jungkook desperately needed, and in their shared vulnerability, a bond grew stronger – a bond born out of pain but resilient in its ability to heal.
