Blue and red lights flashed from the corner of my eyes. Sirens wailing, tires screeching, my ears screaming at cacophony of voices and noise. I felt the searing cold of metal against skin as the cuffs click into place as the officer said, "Richard Earheart, you are under arrest for the murder of Diana Lune." I choked, almost fainted right there... A good lad of 29 years old committed murder? There's no way... Is there?

The event of the past months was a blur to me, a memory fogged by doses of ugh, ugh... medicine I... I ugh, I took. What was I saying again? Oh yeah... Anyway, my friends and I are always into Catharina's songs, I jam to it every single day! My girlfriend left me about a year ago, saying I was too into sex, was that really so bad? But most of all she banned me from listening to any Catharina because, quote on quote, 'too dark' 'too impure' 'always about sex' and so many other stuff I don't really care.

Now, as I'm being hauled towards the police car, with angry strangers beside an all too familiar house, I actually miss my girlfriend. She always kept me in check, always helped me to stay out of trouble, always been a good girl, a good Christian. What was her name again? Glancing sideways at the angry strangers, one of them was sobbing—a woman whose hair and face were aged by time. She looked up at me, eyes red and puffy, and mouthed, "Richard, thank you for loving Diana."
