I said blue without hesitation,

Even though I had no idea

How it seemed.

I heard people saying that

You had blue eyes

And since then,

I knew it was my favourite.

Because your eyes are my favourite.

I know I lied,

Because blue is not my color.

But I'm sure if I could ever see blue,

It would be.

Because, my love,

Your eyes are my favourite tone of grey.
