Marinette's POV

I walked away from Nathaniel, with my head reeling. What just happened? We haven't talked since 5th grade. Then he just strolls up to me like that, AND SAID THAT HE LOVED ME. AND THAT WE ARE GOING TO BE REALLY CLOSE! WTF?

alright, calm down Mari. Just calm down.

Something stepped out in front of me, startling me.

"Oh I'm so sorry," then I saw Adrian, "Adrian. It just you."

"Yeah. I couldn't help but over hear. You and Nathaniel, I mean."

"Adrian, trust me. There isn't anything there. You know what I gave you. I wouldn't have if there was. Okay?"
I said with pleading eyes.

"Alright. Just know if he tries anything, I'll kill him."

I could tell he was serious.

The bell rang telling us to get to homeroom. Today our teacher had hall duty so we were permitted to do whatever we wanted.

Adrian sat next to me, helping us with our secret plan. That was to get Alya and Nino to date. Let's just say, so far so good.

I sat, drawing designs when Adrian pulled me by the chin, and kissed me in front of the entire class. They all whopped and cheered. Well all except Chloe.

I stole a glance at my 'brother' and he too, was cheering. That love I mentioned, its more of a deep bond that I never could understand. He has told me the same, in 5th grade.

I think imma have a talk with my mother, immediately after i get home.
