You don't know how shit you sound until you record yourself.

I know my sound isn't the best, but it's better than when I first started and my crescendos are pretty decent, but my decrescendos

I'm cringing they sound like shit. I've been decrescendoing since my first yeah and I'm still very out of tune.

My intonation is shit while decrescendoing, and I already knew that, but I didn't know it was to this extent.

So yeah, I'm doing extensive research on how fix this.

Word of the wise: if you're serious about wanting to improve on your instrument then record yourself. It'll be a major hit on your self confidence as a musician, but it will help. Also remember that you will overanalyze it and you're not as shit as you think.
