Day 1 (continued)

Ah, finally home! I had to rush out eariler cause graduation was gonna start without me if I didn't leave right then. However, now its time to party it up with my family and my close friends!... or at least some of them. But first, lets reflect on how the graduation went!

It was like a weight was lifted when I got this leather bound cover during the ceremony. These four years have been nothing but an endless roller coaster of emotion, stress, and the works. I never would have thought this would be the end, and so quickly it came too.

Once the entire class got back to their seats, the principle announced, "CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2012!" The graduates threw their caps and the audience roared.  The graduates were then escorted inside to get our actual diplomas and thats when the overwhelming emotions began to show. Friends from the crowded hallway found other friends and were joyously making plans for the years to come. Others were crying in hopes that this is not the last they would see their friends. This is when I found my group of buds.

We had traversed intermediate school, middle school, and high school together; Mr. Chair, Telu, Cuppie, and myself. There were others who were added to this little family over the years but this was the main squad. I found them huddled in a circle as  Telu and Cuppie was crying a little bit and Mr. Chair was unzipping his graduation gown cause it was getting really hot in this hallway. Cuppie was the first to see me and gave me a big, tight hug... it was comforting enough to make me cry a little. I got to Telu next and she was repeatedly saying that we need to hang this summer! There was also Raff and Minnie, two friends who joined our family in high school, they were engrossed in spur and I hugged them as well. Mr. Chair was happy to see me as well and as he was going in for a hug, he picks me up and twirls me in a tight embrace..heaves a sigh and lets go. I look up at him to see his expression but suddenly I get pulled away to Lucy, my girl from elementary, who gave me a tight hug. We start talking and she is making her way to the exit, away from my small family. I couldn't really walk away from her so instead I look back and wave. To which Mr. Chair looks my way, with a solemn but longing look..I turn away and make my way with Lucy outside. 

And now you and me are here, at home, waiting for people to make their way to my house.

To be honest, all I am thinking about right now is sleep.
