"Why do you have such sad thoughts Nicole?"

"Because life isn't always happy."

"T-They passed away...?" Nicole asked, still in shock.

"Yeah... Sorry, did you know them?" He asked.

"Yes... They were my parents." The boy lifted an eyebrow.

"They only had a son, last time I checked." He says.

"Yes, Andrew Walker, that's my brother." Nicole says. "How is he?"

"Last time I heard of him he was somewhere at the border of the state." He sighed.

"I see. That's good, he's hopefully still alive..." She mumbled.

"Hunter! Who are you talking to?" A voice asked inside.

"Oh, it's someone who used to live here, don't worry." He says, a girl with long blonde hair and brown eyes, about 11 had walked to the door.

"Hello. I'm Julia." She smiled.

"Hello Julia, my name is Nicole." Nicole says.

"You can come in if you want." Julia says.

"I don't think we should just let strangers in..." Hunter says and sighs.

"I may be a stranger to you, but I used to live here... So I'm no stranger to this house." She says.

"And how does that make sense?" Hunter asked.

"Just let her come in." Another voice says, coming up to he front door. It was a woman that looked to be in her late 30's with shoulder length blonde hair and bright green eyes.

"Alright, alright." He says and sighs, moving out of the doorway.

Nicole cautiously stepped inside, looking around.

"You are the sister of Andrew Walker?" The older woman asked.

"Yes miss." She says and smiles.

The woman stared for a moment in disbelief then nodded. "I-I see... Well have a look around..."

Nicole nodded and started looking around. So much has changed in 10 years... She thought to herself.

Nicole then felt a pair of green eyes stare at her. She then looked to the side of her. "Why are you watching me?" She asked.

"You seemed... Interesting." He says.

"You were going to say weird, weren't you?" She glared at Hunter.

"It's just not normal for people to come here unexpectedly, so I was surprised when one of the original owners of this house came to take a look." He says.

"That's a lie." She says.

Hunter looked at her shocked. No one usually saw through his lies. "Ok look. You're weird, you claim you are some Andrew Walker's sister that used to live here, when I remember that he said his sister died."

Nicole clenched her fists. "Listen blondie, I'm not dead, I'm standing right in front of you and I'm ready to kick your ass." She says, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt.

Hunter stared at her, shocked. No one was ever this straightforward with him.

Nicole sighed and let go. "We should get going."

"We?" Hunter asked.

"Yes we. You and I are going to see my brother." She says simply.
