Next day, Vikrant and Dev hurriedly had their breakfast and left to ride the bike. Their mother was little concerned because Dev didn't have a helmet. The boys teased their mother and ventured out.

As they stepped out they saw Davis's car coming towards them. It stopped, and Alvin got down.

'Hey, Mr. Davis.' The boys waved at him. He paused walking towards the main gate. He turned to them and waved back. Vikrant saw the window pane of the backseat of the car roll down. Annie's cute face peeped out. She looked around and saw Vikrant. He controlled his urge to smile at her.

'Where had you gone so early, Mr. Davis?' Dev asked curiously.

Alvin smiled as unlocked the main gate and then looked at the boys, - 'We had gone for the Sunday mass in the nearby Church.' He answered. The boys nod their head. Vikrant looked at Annie who was looking at him. But when he looked at her she looked away. Dev began gushing about how excited he was for the bike ride. Mr. Davis seemed in a hurry but to not sound rude he doesn't interrupt the boy. Vikrant noticed it and nudged his brother. Dev stopped talking.

'Okay, Mr. Davis. You guys continue.' He said. Alvin nodded.

Vikrant and Dev watched him get back into the car. Vikrant looked at Annie, she looked back as the car entered the driveway. Once the car had got in, Dev nudged Vikrant and when he looked at him, his younger brother flashed him a cheeky grin. Vikrant sighed shaking his head. Then he twirled the bike keys around his index finger.

The two boys sat on the bike. Vikrant wore his helmet and turned little. He hi-fied with Dev.

It had been only five minutes when Davis's main gate opened again, and Annie stepped out. She looked around uncertainly. Vikrant was busy with his bike, so he didn't see her. But as he took a turn from his home he spotted her. She saw him too. She smiled blinking at him. Her presence made Vikrant want to show off on the bike. He increased the speed. Dev panicked little, but he ignored him. As he passed by Annie he flashed a smile. Annie blushed.

She kept standing watching him drive around.

Vikrant was happy that she was interested in watching him. He wanted to perform stunts, but he knew it was too early to try that. Instead of impressing her, he would be embarrassing himself.

After fifteen minutes he stopped in front of Annie and removed his helmet, - 'You want to ride?' He asked politely with a smile. Annie blushed shaking her head. Then she hurried inside.

Dev smiled placing his palms on his brother's shoulder.

'See, you scared the poor girl.' He said. Vikrant glared at him, but he flashed him a grin.

'I guess you are stuck with me.' He added. Vikrant sighed and wore his helmet.

Later in the evening, Vikrant returned from touring the locality. Since it was about to get dark he hadn't taken Dev with him. Vikrant stopped the bike outside the gate. As he took out his helmet he heard the sound of Indian classical music. It wasn't coming from his house. So, he looked around and frowned on realizing it was coming from Davis's home. He hesitated for a moment before placing his helmet on the handle of the bike and stealthily hurried to the Davis's. He climbed the parapet and peeped inside. Toby wasn't there in the yard. He found lights in a room on and music was coming from there. Vikrant got curious. He decided to take the risk and jumped down the parapet. He patted dust off his palm and tiptoed through the garden and sneaked towards the room.

He ducked and walked towards the window. He peeped inside. The room had a single bed in the center. A long table facing the bed. It had a huge mirror above it and on it, there were some makeup, few CDS, books, and a music system. The room appeared to be a teen's bedroom with posters of actors, singers. A heart-shaped pillow on the bed along with one large pillow and few other small pillows. The duvet neatly placed at the edge of the bed.

Vikrant moved his gaze to the girl at the edge of the bed. Annie was standing in front of the wardrobe. She was dressed in white Anarkali suit with a red dupatta placed diagonally across her chest and tied on her hips. Vikrant's gaze lowered, and he noted she was wearing ghungroo. He looked up again. Annie was dancing to the Indian classical music. Vikrant didn't know exactly what dance form but whatever it was she was looking very beautiful. She was so engrossed in dancing that she doesn't see him. Vikrant hid behind the window and admired her. He watched her moving her hands, legs, fingers. But it was the eye movements stole his heart.

After a point, her gaze fell on him.

Shit!

'Ahh.' She yelped and quickly grabbed the duvet. Vikrant shook his head. But she covered herself with the duvet.

He gulped as she moved the duvet a little and her cute round eyes peeked from behind. He smiled awkwardly. She covered herself again. Vikrant smacked his head. To not make things uncomfortable for her, Vikrant turned. He ducked and left.

Annie peeked from behind the duvet again and found he was missing. She dropped the duvet and hurried to the window. She rested her palms on the window pane and looked around. In the dark, she had difficulty in seeing him. But she spotted him jumping over the gate. She smiled to herself.
