Misty's leg was really grotesque-looking.
"You sure you're okay?" I asked.
"Yeah." She said with a pained expression on her face.
"Come on, this is no fight for us," Caspian said, "Let's head back."
"I'm good," Storm said and I agreed.
"Okay, but I'm not going to be best friends with a corpse," Caspian challenged before walking back with Misty. Misty was slumped against him for support. Storm and I then ran back in the chaos.
We were good fighting partners, Storm and I. We'd walk up to one person and surround them with a fury of blows. Six dead, because of us. Was I guilty? No. Not when these people had innocent blood on their hands.
Soon, after we had taken down twelve, we came across a particularly good swords woman. She was short and swift. I felt frightened, slightly, but before I could say anything, Storm rushed in for the kill. No matter how precise we were, she was better. After a while, about forty-five seconds, I began to slow, and Storm seemed to be a bit less energetic as well. I could hear a man running towards us, likely noticing we weren't doing too great. Or maybe that we were young students trying to defeat a professional. That too. Anyways, I had just thrusted my blade at her and she had parried it without a second thought. I lost my balance and she saw her chance. She stabbed just under my left shoulder, right at a weak spot in my armor. Ow. Ow. My shoulder... owww. The pain was so intense. I blacked out.
