I texted Sky for like, the millionth time, asking where she was. She wasn't answering. I said goodbye to Steam, Breeze, and Brooke, and went to go and find Sky. I walked to our dorm, hoping she would be there. Her books were still open on the table, but she wasn't there. I checked the library after that. Sky wasn't there either. I decided to check the training room, knowing that that was one of the places she would most likely be at this very moment. As I was coming down the hallway, I ran into someone. "Watch it!" she growled. I stood up and faced her. She was covered head to toe in mud and grime. Her hair even looked black. It was plain obvious that she was an earth. "You need to start watching where you are going," she said as she walked off. "And you need to stop acting like you own the place," I muttered, "but we can't have everything, can we." I turned and walked through the door and, almost, ran into Sky. "I thought you might be here," I said. "Why weren't you answering my texts?" I asked. "I don't know where my helper is," she answered. That makes sense. We walked back to our dorm together. When we got there, the first thing Sky did was rummage through everything, trying to find her helper. I joined in eventually. We searched the whole dorm, but we couldn't find Sky's helper. "When your helper finally turns up, try not to lose it again," I said. "I swear the last time I saw it, it was in my pocket," Sky said back. "Well, it's not there now," I said. Sky shrugged. I sat down on the bottom bunk. I brought Oliver out so he could stretch his wings. He was glad to be out. Sky let Waffles out as well. We sat silently for awhile when someone knocked.
