On Monday I was practically jumping off the walls to begin the last week. We weren't required to bring helpers, switch classes, or even go! Pretty much everyone was going though, most had nothing better to do. We were told we would just watch movies, hang out, and do fun activities. I'm not even slightly ashamed to say I was pumped. It was basically a party, well a party with adults included. So maybe not the best kind of party, but a party nonetheless. That day we watched this awesome movie series called Harry Potter! I really want to be like this one girl in it called Ginny; she seemed like a great role model that kind of broke free from the stereotype that girls can't fight in battles. I think I'm going to read the book series, as Brooke told me it was even better than the movies!
On Tuesday we watched this other movie called Frozen. It was cute. We sat next to Storm and Caspian, who both somehow knew all the words. What? They're both sweetie poos, so I'm assuming they have seen the movie various times. At one part, when they were singing an Anna/Elsa duet in Elsa's ice castle loud enough that the other classes could hear it, Mr. Smith asked them to take it down a notch. Caspian's a Water and everything, but he got to watch Frozen in Wind training because we we're allowed to go anywhere in the school. Their duet was funny, but I don't like to get in trouble so I was kind of embarrassed to be around Storm at the time. I mean, he's great and awesome and all, but that made me slightly uncomfortable. Afterwards we had snacks and played bingo and had a blast.
On Wednesday we just played a ton of games outside on the field like water balloon fights (in which many Waters didn't find use of the balloons and instead just threw floating water spheres), Last Man Standing (Winds blew air everywhere and tried to knock others off their feet), Fire Fighters (Waters, Winds, Earths, and Plants attempted to put out the Fires' fires), Vegetation (Plants made mazes out of bushes and everyone had to go through them), and Build-A-Mountain (everyone got in teams and helped the Earth team members build miniature mountains with tiny ponds, trees, lakes, and snowfall.) It was a perfect day!
Thursday was when everyone was going crazy excited for summer. We signed yearbooks, stuffed our faces with cake, and watched a movie called Tommorowland. The movie's intensity didn't have much effect on anyone. When a Elemental meets a lot of sugar, it's unlikely that they can resist the strong urge to go entirely INSANE. A lot of Winds were literally, and I mean literally, jumping off the walls. We take the advantage of being able to control air and put it into action.
Friday, oh Friday. It was slightly bittersweet that we wouldn't see some of our friends until the next year. I mean, the school was worldwide. Brooke was from Canada, Breeze from Sweden, Steam was from America, like us, but I wasn't exactly sure that was a good thing. Storm and Caspian actually lived in Australia, not like they'd visit us anyways. They had loads of friends to keep up with anyway. It was kind of depressing that we probably wouldn't see any of our friends this summer. Everyone was saying much dreaded goodbyes. Then the announcement came! The announcement of the 3 week summer camp!
