Glory woke up the next morning, feeling confused. Why was she at Sunny's house? She thought. Then, a feeling of dread washed over her. She would have to spend an entire day with her grandmother.

She tried getting out of her bed, but failed because of her stupid leg. It took her several attempts, but she was finally able to get out of her bed. She walked to the kitchen, and saw that everyone else was awake. Deathbringer came over to Glory with his smug face.

"Would my queen like me to get her some breakfast?" He asked.

"Deathboy, I'm perfectly capable of feeding myself." Glory replied, walking past him.

"Deathboy." He said thoughtfully. "I like that. Keep calling me that."

"Okay." Glory said, a mischievous grin appearing on her face. "Deathy."

"Woman." Deathbringer said, eyes widening. "What is wrong with you? And what have you done wrong with your life."

"Many things." Glory replied. "One of them being dating you. I question my life decisions many days. That's one of the bigger questions."

"Savage!" Tsunami yelled from the couch.

"Hey!" Deathbringer protested. "But you loooooooooove me."

Glory smirked and went to get her breakfast. "Maybe."

It was time to go to the school. Glory was very nervous. She couldn't stop fidgeting, and was almost sick with worry. Thorn was driving Glory to pick up Grandeur, and Deathbringer insisted that he come, so he came.

Grandeur didn't say anything as she got in Thorns car, she just sat stiffly in the seat next to Deathbringer.

The car ride was awkward, as no one talked. Glory was slightly relieved when Thorn pulled in the parking lot, and more relieved when she saw her friends were there, and unharmed. Darkstalker was there, too, with an unknown woman, with scarlet-red hair.

Grandeur gasped at something, and Glory turned to look at her. "What?" She snapped.

"Nothing." She replied. "Nothing, Glory."

Glory narrowed her eyes and turned back to the front of the car.

When they got out, the red haired woman smiled. "Thrilling. You're all here. Let me introduce myself. I'm Scarlet. It's good to see you again, mother."
