Compact dragons with armored upper scales and sleek underbellies, average sized wings and a frill about their heads resembling the leaves of their birth tree.

Their armored scales will resemble the bark of their birth tree while their frills and underbelly will resemble the foliage.

Their eyes range from all shades of bright and dark orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.

Their scales change to the color of their birth tree throughout the seasons. When the leaves fall from their trees in the winter, their foliage color becomes gray or dull.

At birth, all dragonets are born with blue eyes, but then morph into their true colors as their melatonin in the eyes increases.

The WoodWing Tribe's official religion is the belief in the spirits of nature, also known as Shintoism in the present day.

🍂Holidays/Events🍂
The WoodWings have five official holidays throughout the course of a year, but also celebrate hatching days.

- Noble Hatching Days
The kingdom will formally celebrate the Hatching of the royal dragons.

- Hatching Day
Dragons will celebrate their Hatching day with friends and family.

- Week of Emerging
The dragonets that have gone through their metamorphosis will emerge from their cocoons over the course of a week with their newly grown wings, they will reunite with their friends and families throughout the week. The family and friends will celebrate their new pair of wings.

- Week of Mourning
A week reserved for the friends and families of dragonets who do not emerge, and are thus pronounced dead.

- Scorching Day
The day dragons appeared to the lands of Axylia.

🍃Laws🍃

-One
No WoodWing may be the cause of death of one of their own kind; unless under protection of guard or soldier code.

-Two
No WoodWing can engage in a full time job until they have earned their wings.

-Three
All WoodWings must oblige to have their egg hatched under a tree to survive, even if they are to give it in for adoption later. No parent or guardian can discard the life of an unborn dragonet if it resides in their kinship.

-Four
All WoodWings who have earned their wings must sign up for selective service.

-Five
The Queen's power is supreme but in time of death sentences, can be overridden by the council.

-Six
The Challenger must be in relation of close kinship to the Queen.

-Seven
A King may become ruler only if there is no female to inherit the throne.

-Eight
Laws may be added and withdrawn according to the word of the council, Queen and/or king.

-Nine
Dragonet are born in the same ranking as their parents, but can aspire elsewhere with guardian permission.

-Ten
Once a dragonet exceeds 10 years and has earned their wings are full adults, and are no longer required to have consent of a guardian for their actions.

-Eleven
No dragon may tamper with the cocoons of a metamorphic WoodWing.
