Sloth frozed. Icewings? Fighting? How long have I read? "What happened?", asked another dragonet. "Hurry up if you want to see!", shouted the messager.   

Every dragonet ran through the sleep corner. I have to see what happened too! She walked together with the others outside, looking for Dawnbringer and Madhead but she couldn't find the two Nightwings.

Is something wrong with me? Is Dawn realy liking me? What are I thinking about! We are friends! Maybe something is wrong with her  brother!

In that moment she could hear somebody crying. Who? What is that? Is somebody else hearing that? She turned around but the other dragonets still runned without looking back.

Are only I hearing that? Are I getting crazy like Madhead? Are I only imagine that? Or are I a mindreading Rainwing?

She started smiling by the last words. In that moment she saw a lonly shadow at the stonewall. A   shadow of a dragon who had to sit right behinde her.

But when Sloth turned around again wasn't there a other dragonet. How mysterious. Then she shook her head slowly.

I'm only imagine that. Why should I hear some ghost voices. I'm not spezial enough. She walked away. I have to see the Icewings.

Only a few feetsteps ago she could see the other dragonets and ten big, ice coloured Icewings. Two of then were in the middle of the crowd fighting which eatch other.

"How often have I to say that I didn't hurt you! That would be so counterproductive and you know that I hate that!", the smaler one shouted. It was a female dragonet with white scales and blue patches.

She looks like me! Different. That means that I'm not the only one. The other dragon, a big, silver coloured Icewing only snatched at her.

"Realy! Do you think I'm trusting a hybrid?", he answerd. "I'm not a hybrid! My parents are pure blood Icewings!", she said angry. "Sure! You are a lying hybrid", the other one growled.

"Stop that! Just stop that!" A little dragonet shouted and steped in front of the both Icewings. It was a tiny, black Icewing.

Maybe a hybrid. Maybe that is BlackIce. I think she is OK

The biggest Icewing only smiled. Sloth felt that something terrible will happen if she wouldn't do something.  I have to stop that! What if somebody get hurt!

"And you little hybrid want to stop me. It's time to teatch her a lesson! You hybrids are thinking that you are better than the normal dragons because you are royal ore you have  spezial powers! And now get out of...."

In that moment Sloth steped forward. She could feel pound her hard against her chest.

"And you? Do you don't think that you are the greatest dragonet of the Icewings too? Because you want to hurt that tinyer dragonets by your own!"

The big dragon opened his mouth and closed it again. It tooks nearly one minute before he answerd. "I'm just....I'm just doing the right! That dragonets..."

"NO! It's not OK to hurt them! Even if they don't deserve!", Sloth cried. Did I. Did I realy...He will kill me right now. What did I thought?

"What happens?", asked a voice. Sunny! The Icewing looked down at her. "You will pay for that. Rainwing." With that words he steped inside the mountain.

"W-what was that? Is somebody hurt?", Sunny asked.  Sloth only opened her mouth.

I realy did that! He will hate me forever! My first day at school and I have one enemy...

"Hey", the black Icewing said. "Thank you for helping us. My name is BlackIce." Sloth smiled. "I'm Sloth. Do you know that Icewings?", she asked.

"Yes. The big one is Freeze and the other one is Penguine." The both searched for the female Icewing. She and Sunny were talking with each other.

"Oh. And you are sure that you don't did it?", Sunny asked. "Yes! I only played with my Little penguine and then he turned around and snarled at me!" "But we all saw that you did it! You hurt him!",  a other Icewing cried.

Was she realy doing that? Was I helping the wrong one? But who knows what that angry dragon would do!

"That's intresting or? Everybody saw what Penguine did but she don't remember", BlackIce said suddenly. Sloth glanced at her.

"How do you know that?", she asked. Her new friend looked down at her claws. "Please don't tell the other dragonets but...but.."

If it's that what I think it is... Then she has to be a hybrid! What if she is like Galaxy a.... "Yes I'm an hybrid! Do you ask why I know what you are thinking about? It's because I'm a mindreader!", BlackIce snarled. But she don't have that silver teardrops. If she can realy read minds she has to have that markings!

"I'm a Night-Icewing hybrid. This why the name", she explained. I was right! "Do you know that we are maybe in the same winglet? The Sapphire winglet!", Sloth said. "Okay. That's better than a lazy Rain... I mean than somebody I doesn't know!", replied the hybrid .

Sloth didn't knew what to think. Is she wanting somebody else in her winglet?  Like me and Galaxy? Or was I just to mean to her. Maybe she is angry about the hybrid thing. But she has to deal with it like me. And she can read every thought!

In that moment Penguine runned inside the mountain with a Little black and white bird in her claws.

"What. Was. That?",  BlackIce asked surprised. "Normaly Penguine isn't like that!"

"Oh. She is realy sad about that what I said", Sunny explained. Sloth winced. "What do you said?", BlackIce asked. "Oh. I just said that it isn't nice to lie and if she doesn't say sorry to him..."

That's unfair! I mean if my new friend is right than it isn't her fault! Somebody has to clear that situation up!

"How ever I have to go! See you later!", Sunny thought and disappeared into Jade mountain.

"That's unfair!", BlackIce shouted with once. "Yes it is. Poor Penguine! Let us search her", Sloth replied.

The Ice-Nightwing nodded. "Then we can go and explore the academy too! I got a map from Fatespeaker only a few secounds before the battle", she answerd.

She's a very interesting dragon. If only I could read minds like her. What is she thinking in that moment about me?

The both walked inside the mountain looking for the Icewing.

I'm wondering were the Seawings are! They have to arrive this evening too! Yes it should be a little later but...

"Schloth!",  somebody cried. "Madhead?", asked Sloth. "Oh. Hi Sloth", Dawn answered . "This is the Icewing in my winglet. BlackIce. BlackIce this is my friend Dawnbringer and her brother Madhead", the Rainwing explained.

"Nice to meet you two", said the Ice-Nightwing. Dawn just smiled. "What are you doing?", she asked. Should we tell her? Maybe she want to help us!

"We are searching a Icewing. Penguine, I think." At the moment when Sloth said the name of the Icewing, Madhead  made an ugly sound and looked up. "This girl is cursed", he explained.

Is everyone who is weird cursed for him? "That's what I mean! Everybody is cursed for him! Not something spezial!", Daw shouted.

Sloth smiled.
"It is OK. I mean I'm not dead, are I?" The Nightwing started giggling. "No you aren't!" "How ever we have to find Penguine now!",  BlackIce remembered Sloth.

Isn't she liking Dawn? Why not? Maybe she read her thoughts and something is wrong with her? But why and what! Or is she just not like I was thinking?

"Yes do you want to come with us?", she asked. "No. We have to go to a course for Madhead! Bye",  Dawn said. Sloth looked down at her talons again. "Yes, Bye!" With that words the Nightwings turned around and walked away.

"Something is wrong with that Nightwings", BlackIce explained. "Sure! One of them is crazy!"

Something wrong? With Dawn? "I can't read her thoughts!", she shouted. "But I have a friend, Galaxy, who can't read my mind too", Sloth hold up.

Is that not usually? Galaxy never read every thought! Maybe her power is stronger and this why she can read my thoughts too.

"Let us search for Penguin", BlackIce just said after a while. Sloth just nodded. The both walked deep inside the mountain.

Where can she be? Is she outside the mountain and we are searching the whole time at the wrong place? Or...

In that moment she bumped into something big. No. SOMEBODY big.
