We have to do something! "No! You can't kill them!", Sloth shouted. Not like you killed Spirit. I'm not going to let this happen again! Never again! I'm so sorry Spirit. I will do better this time!

"I-I will come with you when you let them alive. You can take me but please. Please don't do this!", Sloth said.

"No", Dawn snapped. "They will ruin everything when I let them alive!" A trick. A trick. When I would be an animus I would make my scales as hard as diamonds so that nobody can hurt me.

But she didn't give that power to her....to the others. When we hurt them enough she will maybe run away? But I can't do this alone!

"You just killed my sister! I'm not going to die today!", BlackIce shouted. "I'm lucky that you can't decide that", Dawn said cold than she smiled again.

"I enchant this stones..." But Ripple was there. Sloth never saw somebody reacting as fast as this. He shit Dawns mouth with his claws. Even the other six seemed surprised.

Now! Sloth attacked Dirt and shot venom at him but not enough to kill him. It just touched his claws but the Mudwing started screaming.

Sloth shot again but this time she hit his horns. Dirt pulled her legs away and soon he stood over her. Sloth shot her venom again but this time she was to slow and Dirt jumped away.

He hissed and clawed Sloth's belly. She tried to get herself free but Dirt was to strong. What have I thought? That I could fight him?

Than somebody took Dirt's weight from her chest.  It was Shadow who didn't seem to recognize her. Sloth took a deep breath.

Somehow I have to help Shadowclaw. She couldn't use her venom when she didn't want to hurt her friend too. Mudwings aren't really fast. Maybe we can use this.

Sloth saw Dirt tails and without thinking she bit into it. When I remember right than this is the part of a dragon body where it hurts the most or?

It seemed to work. Dirt turned around but the moment he wanted to breath fire Shadowclaw jumped on his back and pinned him down.

Dirt roared and stopped moving. Shadow looked up and smiled at Sloth but suddenly Dirt jumped up and he flew through the cave and bumped into Sloth.

She blushed but than she remembered what Shadow said about her. "Get off!", Sloth hissed. Suddenly Dirt was over them.

Blood flowed over his body and he grinned. This is the right moment. I just have to open my mouth and shoot some venom and it will be over.

But she couldn't. Sloth knew this feeling. She knew that Dirt was caged somewhere inside of his skin. But Shadowclaw didn't. He opened his mouth ready to shoot it in his eyes.

"No stop!", Sloth shouted. To her own surprise the hybrid shut his mouth again. But why? Why? Why? Why! Dirt jumped...but Ripple was there.

He jumped on his back and scratched his eyes. Dirt screamed again. He makes him blind! Now Shadow attacked again too.

He first bit in Dirt's tail than he scratched his wings. The Mudwing didn't know what happens. Sloth looked around. River and BlackIce fought against Penguin and Splash.

Eclipse pinned the Skywing to the ground and Hunter fought Pixlel and Madhead. He was fast with his barbed tail and scratched Madhead at his tail but he didn't seem to notice.

I should go and help him! But than she realized something else. When Ripple fights with Dirt...who shuts Dawnbringers mouth than?

The Nightwing was nowhere to see. I have to find her! Sloth looked around than she ran into the cave where Spirits dead body laid.

I'm so sorry Spirit. On a lounger lied Leaf. She didn't move, she didn't even breath. The little princess lied there just like a stone.

Is she dead too? Sloth came closer. Her eyes were open also her mouth as if she wanted to cry. What's wrong with her?

Than Sloth realized a little stone in one of her claws. What's this? Slowly she opened Leaf's talon so that she could see the rock better.

It was a very ordinary stone. Nothing special at all. But. There was something about it. Something that made Sloth feeling...watched.

I have to get the stone out of her hand. Of course she could take it and have a look at it but something told her she shouldn't.

Great. Now I'm getting really crazy. She took Leaf's talon and shook it as long as the little stone got out. Nothing happened do you see?

Sloth turned around to the rock and studied it. Nothing special at all. But why did she hold it than? "What's happening here!", Leaf screamed with once.

"So this is how the stone works!", Sloth shouted. It freezes the dragons that hold it for a longer time! "You! Stupid little red dragon! Why are I here!", Leaf screamed.

Uh-oh. I think it's better when I get her out here. "I'm here to take you back to your sleeping room", Sloth explained.

She could get help. But than she would be in danger too. And here are way to much dragons that are in danger in cause of me.

"But first we have to wake up the others!" It didn't take them long to find Thunder. He laid peacefully on his lounger and he really looked like he was sleeping.

I've never seen him with a smile at his face like this before. With his new smile  he looked a lot more attractive than before. What are I getting to hear when he wakes up?

Sloth searched for a stone but she couldn't find one. "What are you doing?", Leaf asked bored. "I'm going alone when this takes even longer. I don't want to go with a grumpy Skywing!" Sloth didn't react.

Somewhere it has to be! "Well I'm going now. Bye strange Rainwing", Leaf said. "No wait!", Sloth shouted but it was to late. I have to care about other things right now!

But Sloth ran after the princess. "Wait! You can't get out there! It's too dangerous!", she screamed after her. "Why!", Leaf asked.

Sloth realized that they were standing at Leaf's lounger again. I'm so sorry. Ok actually I'm not but what ever. "Come back and I will tell you everything."

The princess nodded after a while. Sloth tried to find Thunder's stone again. Maybe it isn't even a stone but something else...

"Are you looking for this?", Leaf asked and hold a piece of wood up. "No! Leaf wait!", Sloth shouted but it was already to late.

Great. Better a frozen dragon than a dragon that asks any kind of question. "Why did you wake me up you little camel dung of a hybrid!", Thunder snarled.

"Thunder please Listen! We are in great danger and I have to get you both out here!", Sloth explained. "What kind of danger?", Thunder asked.

Why can't this get faster? "Do you know a second exit?", she asked. "Yes. There is one in Tamarin's cave why do you ask?", Thunder hissed.

"You and Leaf you have to go out there and fly back into the mountain and don't leave for the next days!", Sloth ordered. "Never! I'm not going to run away from whatever this is!", he snapped.

Why is he so stubborn? "Please! Leaf needs you help!" After a short moment Thunder nodded. Sloth opened Leaf's claws and the piece of wood fell to the ground.

"What was this?", she asked. "Follow Thunder!", Sloth answered and Leaf really did what she told her. Great. And now I have to find Dawn.

"Uh. Sloth?", Thunder shouted. "Just go!", she screamed. "But-the sky!" Sloth sighted and followed the Skywing to the second entrance.

What she saw let her heart stop for a few seconds. It was the sky.

The sky turned red.
