Turtle was nervous. Sure, he was excited, too, but mainly nervous. He was going on a date with Kinkajou! He had been scared to ask since Anemone had enchanted her, and she knew about his crush, but he had finally done it. He hoped it would go well and he wouldn't make a complete fool out of himself, and that his mother wouldn't care.

Normally, she wouldn't have, but now that she knew Turtle, he felt that she would care more.

Turtle sighed. Why was he worrying? She said you were cute after we defeated Darkstalker, he thought. He shook out his wings. Everything's going to be fine. He assured himself. He walked out of his cave at Jade Mountain, taking in shaking breaths, and exhaling slowly.

He walked to her cave, and peeked his head in. "Kinkajou?" He asked.

"Turtle?" She replied. "Turtle! Hey!" She hugged him.

"Good to see you." Turtle replied. "You ready?"

"You bet." Kinkajou said. Her scales were now a purple and pink, still as bright as ever. But to Turtle, she looked better than she had ever seen him.

Turtle took her by her arm, and led her to a cave close to the lake at Jade Mountain, where he had set up a meal consisting of fruits and fish, with a table and chairs set up for the two. The cave was located to where if you were to look out a window, you would see the sun setting. He thought it was romantic, and he hoped Kinkajou did, too.

"This is great, Turtle." Kinkajou said in amazement. "Did you do this?"

"Yeah." Turtle admitted. "Do you like it?" He asked nervously.

"I love it!" Kinkajou said.

I wish you thought that way about me. Turtle thought. "Thanks." He replied instead.

So, they sat down and ate, silent, neither dragon knowing what to say.

After they ate, Turtle took Kinkajou to watch the sunset. Romantic, right? He thought, unsure of his decisions.

"Hey, Kinkajou?" He asked.

"Yeah?" She replied, turning to look at him.

"So, I still really like you, and I was hoping we could give... us a try." He said nervously.

"Um, about that." Kinkajou said. She sounded nervous, which Turtle thought was odd. She's never nervous. "After spending a while thinking about... this, I've always liked you, to be honest, Anemone just made me actually do something about it, and at the same time I had a crush on Winter, but then a while ago Winter went to Sanctuary, so I haven't seen him, and I still really like you." She finished.

"Really?" Turtle said, surprised.

"Really." Kinkajou said with a smile. "We can try it."

"Great." Turtle replied.
