Italics means they are speaking under water.
Bold means thoughts.

She was pronounced dead a day after. Tsunami never left the deep sea palace, she didn't even leave her chambers. Riptide was the only one who was allowed inside her Roman. But even then she said nothing. Losing her daughter had diminished the light for her. It had only been a few hours when Riptide gently pushed the door open. Peeking inside he found Tsunami curled up and crying silently. Swimming over to her he curled himself around her, letting her sob onto his shoulder.

Tsunami is never like this. She's always so strong. Now she is just a hollow shell of who she was. Riptide pulled back from the now calm seawing.

Let's take a walk. You could use it to clear your head Riptide' s scales flashed. No doubt he felt awful, losing his daughter. He still remembered cradling her to sleep. But unlike other dragons he never really let pain get to him. In The Talons Of Peace it was wrong to be weak, so he never cried when he was hurt, never shed a tear for a lost friend, he was to stay strong no matter what. And right now, he had to be strong for Tsunami even if he was broken inside. The two swam around the Deep Sea Palace for a bit, not even realizing the two were headed to the hatchery. Tsunami was the first to realize they were headed towards there, but Riptide quickly grabbed her talons in his. Remember, we have to check on the eggs it's part of our royal duties. Tsunami didn't even try to object. They swam to the hatchery and the guards opened the door, closing it behind them. The two swam around all the eggs, but when they got to their nest they saw something incredible. The egg that Silverstream hatched from did seem much larger than the rest. By now Tsunami was leaning on Riptide. Then a big piece of egg moved, and a light shown bright. Tsunami was off Riptide' s shoulder now and swimming towards the egg. Lifting the eggshell she stumbled back, running into Riptide. There sitting in the nest was a small seawing, exactly looking like Silverstream. She was a dark blue with a light purple looking like ripples on her scales. She had violet eyes that were beautiful. The two grabbed the baby dragonet and fled the Deep Sea Palace and went up to the Summer Palace. Riptide was holding the small dragonet to his chest when they landed on the highest pavilion. Breathing heavily Tsunami looked down at the small dragonet. A tear ran down her face, her daughter was a twin.

"She was a twin." Riptide was startled. Tsunami hadn't spoken since that morning. "That's why the egg was larger. It was because she was an identical twin." Tsunami raised the child high in the sky. "What do you want to name her?" Tsunami asked quietly.

"Riverstream. She looks exactly like Silverstream so it will seem like we have both of them here." All that was left of Silverstream was just a scale. One that was blue at the top and silver at the bottom.

Tsunami never left the child's side in her first year. She always took precaution whenever anything happened. Riverstream never left her mother's side. Every year on her birthday she would always find her mother crying holding a scale. It looked like hers except more silver. She never pressed but was very curious. Until she overheard her parent's conversation.

"We need to tell her Riptide. I can tell she's getting curious and we can't keep this from her. She turns six tomorrow and soon she will be off to Jade Mountain Academy. She needs to know." Her mother begged.

"I understand love but she's still to young." He tried to reason with her.

"To young! I was in a war when I was her age." Tsunami fired back. Riverstream moved so she was right by the door.

"Tsunami if we tell a six year old that she had a twin sister who died the next day, she will be crushed. You know how much she wanted a sibling and to know that the only one she had is dead won't be good." The argument went on but Riverstream went numb. A sister. I had a sister. She couldn't take it anymore. She ran off sure to be heard. She flew off to see uncle Clay. One thought ran through her head. I had a sister.

A/N Happy birthday to me! Lol here you go!
