Hey all! I thought I'd give you another quick update to this book full of AWESOME music. As you might know, I'm a HUGE Transformers fan, and Bumblebee was the best Transformers film, hands down, that I've ever seen. (I don't need to see the Michael Bay movies to know how bad they are xD) I've been listening to this song since before the movie came out, and when the credits of the film rolled, I knew that this song was PERFECT for it. But it wasn't until just this morning that I put two and two together and figured out that this song could work for Moon (aka one of my several adopted dragon daughters XD).
I think that this song works mostly because of the tone of the song and Hailee Steinfeld's kinda quiet yet powerful voice. That perfectly describes Moon--she's quiet and reserved, and at the same time has power so great that most dragons can't even comprehend it, what with telepathy and foresight and all that. When she says "I'm bringing you back to life," she could be talking about Darkstalker, but I'm choosing to leave that open for interpretation. And the part where she says "Our love's enough" is CLEARLY for Qibli, for who else would she say that to?
I know, some people still love Winterwatcher, but it's not canon anymore... :(
Anyway, I'm starting a little thing from now on with these theme song things--I want to hear your thoughts and suggestions for other characters' theme songs. The ones I want to hear about the most right now are Whiteout, Turtle and Kinkajou.
Song: Hailee Steinfeld - Back to Life (from Bumblebee, which is still playing in theaters--I highly recommend you all go see it, even if you're not a diehard Transformers fan like I am.)
