Luz and Amity felt like hours were seconds. And they just wanted to be together for just a little longer, even if they had just started dating the day they kissed.

"Well, I better get going." Luz said. "Eda's probably starting to get worried."

Amity sighed before smiling. "Y-You could spend the n-night sometime...y-you know, sleepover...l-laying in bed, wearing cute pajamas...s-sleeping..."

"Y-Your blush is really cute." Luz smiled, kissing Amity again.

Amity giggled as she kissed back, feeling her blush die down a bit. "Well, soak it up. You're the only one I'm like this with."

"Awwww!" Luz smiled before she hopped onto her staff. "...okay, one more."

"C'mere." Amity said, pulling Luz by her cape and kissing her again for a few seconds before they both parted.

"Goodnight, Amity. I love you." Luz whispered.

Amity rested her forehead against hers. "I love you too. Goodnight."

Luz then flew off out through Amity's window. Her heart was soaring just as much as she was, and it felt great. She even surfed a little on her staff.

Life was truly amazing! The Golden Guard was defeated and gone, all the monsters were destroyed, and now? Amity was her one and only.

"WOOHOO!!!!" Luz exclaimed as she literally glided off her staff and then fell onto it again as it zoomed over, catching her.

After a little joyride, she eventually went back home to see Eda watching TV while Jean-Luc gave King a piggyback ride.

"Oh! There you are." Eda said. "It's like 8:30."

"Sorry, sorry! I had too much fun!" Luz laughed. "You won't believe what just-"

"Ya kissed her, didn't you?" Eda smirked. "I know that face."

Luz smiled wide and nodded. "Yup! Guess who's got a girlfriend!~" She sang.

King stuck out his tongue. "Mom! That's gross!" He then looked from side to side. "When can I meet her?"

"Soon, King! Soon!" Luz smiled, kissing his forehead again. "Oh! Eda! I actually have something to say to you!" She then looked at Jean-Luc. "Would ya mind?"

Jean-Luc chuckled before writing down something with a tendril. 'Of course! Do enjoy your conversation. I am happy you are with this Amity.'

King cackled before he pointed up the stairs. "Away, fair chariot! Away!!"

Jean-Luc made a noise as he ran up the stairs like a horse, with King laughing a mock evil laugh as they rode across the house.

Eda chuckled. "So, what did you wanna say?"

"Well, me getting a date wasn't the only reason I showed up so late." Luz said. "I...I beat The Golden Guard."

Eda's eyes widened. "You...did? That golden douchebag's finally gone?"

Luz nodded. "Uh-huh!!! Now Belos doesn't have anyone stronger to send monsters here! And if he comes here? I'll be able to take him down!!!!"

"That's great, Luz!!!" Eda exclaimed. "Oh, I knew you could do it! I'm so proud of you, kiddo!"

Luz laughed. "Thanks, Mom- I mean, Eda!"

Eda was silent...before her lips curved into another smile. "Say that again."

Luz blushed in embarrassment. "E-Eda?"

"Nope."

"Thanks?"

"Nope."

"Thanks, Eda?"

"Kiddo...you called me 'Mom'." Eda said, walking over. "I'm not mad."

Luz looked at her. "You're not?"

"Heck no! I've been pretending to be your aunt/adopted mom for a long while! Might as well adopt you for real!" Eda exclaimed, giving Luz a noogie.

Luz laughed. "Eda!!!"

"Ah, ah, ah! It's Mom now! No takebacks!" Eda said as she let her newfound daughter go. "I'm proud of you, kid. You've kept your friends and family safe, you beat monsters, you save the city, you got a girlfriend, and you beat a golden chump. I'm glad you came, kid. You made my life a whole lot better."

Luz smiled wide. "Thanks...Mom."

Eda hugged her, smiling as Luz hugged back. "Never change, Luz."

"I won't...me and my Mama may have been born in The Boiling Isles...but this...this is my home."

Later that night...

Luz yawned as she watched videos on her phone, having changed into her pajamas. She then smiled as a lot of videos came up about her fights, some caught on camera.

She decided to watch one of them randomly until something odd happened.

She saw some kind of weird symbol from one of her spells. The Light Blast.

Luz hummed before grabbing Jean-Luc's notepad and then sketching the symbol into it. "Hmmm...weird."

She said this as she tapped the paper...and suddenly...the paper crumbled itself up and floated into the air as light suddenly engulfed it.

Luz gasped, jumping and nearly dropping her phone. "Is...that...a light spell? From paper?"

Luz hummed before drawing the symbol again and tapping it, and another light spell was made. "Whoa...is...is this a new way to do magic? I-I didn't even think that was possible!"

She laughed. "I guess...Earth has some magic."

Meanwhile...

Belos walked through the dark room, and then felt a strange presence coming from the portal. He hummed.

The Titan's spirit hissed and slithered as it flew out of the eyeholes of Belos' mask and then next to the portal. "BELOS...I AM CONFUSED..."

"Yes, my Titan?"

"THE GOLDEN GUARD HAS DIED...YET, YOU FEEL NOTHING."

"He is nothing more than a pawn." Belos said before walking over. "I sense something troubles you. More than that."

"THE DAY OF UNITY GROWS NEAR...BUT I SENSE SOMETHING ODD ABOUT EARTH...A MAGIC THAT I HAVE NOT SENSED UNTIL THIS DAY...IT SEEMS THE WITCH REMAINING ON EARTH FOR OVER A YEAR HAS BROUGHT A MAGICAL ABILITY TO EARTH..."

"Hmmm...interesting." Belos said as he took off his mask. "But that does not matter, my Titan. We will proceed as planned."

"THE WITCH SHALL DIE..."

"Yes...like all Wild Witches who stood before me...including Camilla Noceda...and now? Luz Noceda is no different."
