This is Spain's one shot!

Spain walked through the crowd of people in the road, to go to his house.

He turned corners, avoiding as many people as he could as he went down the road. He walked down alleyways, and he walked past all the terracotta houses.

He raced down alleys. He had to get back to his house. Nile would be waiting for him. He looked at the sun, raised his tail, and checked how many tail lengths he could fit inside the gap between the sun and the ground.

It was a way the SandWings could tell the time. It was almost twelve. He had to meet Nile at twelve o'clock sharp.

One person was walking by him, and accidentally brushed their tail by his neck. Luckily, he was wearing a chestplate Nile had made, so it did not hurt him.

He dashed around a final corner, and skidded to a stop silently.

There he was.

Spain's love of his life.

He sat on his haunches, stunned by Nile's beauty.

The beautiful dragon was sitting on the ground, his tail tucked over his black talons, and his head gazing out to look at the sea at the end of the cliff.

He is beautiful today. I am so lucky I found this dragon. Spain thought.

He slowly walked onto the sand ahead of him, unable to hide the extra bounce in his step.

"Hi sweeeeeeetie" Spain said, locking eyes calmly with Nile.

"Hi Spain" Nile responded sweetly.

Spain bounded over, and gave Nile a hug. Nile smiled and closed his eyes. Spain slowly released him, and said, " I brought you something".

Nile looked surprised, and said, "really?? What is it??????"

"Instead of telling you, how about I show you."

Nile quickly nodded with excitement. Spain reached into one of his many pouches on his chest. Before pulling it out, he said, "Nile. Close your eyes."

Nile closed his eyes, and stood up proudly. His eyebrows high up to show his happiness. Spain lifted out a pure gold necklace with a silver full moon in the middle, and a crest moon inside facing the moon, and the moon crest on the other side.

"Oh Spain! I love it!" Nile cried.

Spain blushed. Nile lowered his eyes to his chestplate. He frowned. "Spain, I will have to fix that. You know my chestplates are not invincible. SandWing tail slashes are powerful."

"Aww come on honey... With your armour, I shall be invincible."

Nile scoffed."Yeah right. You know these are not the best."

"EXCUSE ET MOI! You are the best armourer in all of possibility!"

Nile gave a confused look. "Was that the old language?" His eyes widening. Spain shook his head. "No... It's some sort of 'scavenger' language."  "Well then. We should get going to your house. I'm getting hungry." Nile replied

"Right away handsome sir!" Spain replied, teasing Nile playfully.

Nile smiled and brushed his wings with Spain. Spain saw shine of beauty in Nile's eye. The thing that made spain meet Nile. All right... Let's go. I'll go get some food.

Spain hid his blushing face as he took Nile's talons in his and leaped of the ground suddenly, pulling Nile off the ground. Nile started laughing and steadied himself in the air.

They took off, leaving a brush of wind behind them as they soared into the horizon to Spain's home.
