"Well, not bad from an Omega. I mean, you, Jewel,"

"Heh... I have been training! Plus, I'm just getting started!" I look around and saw a few more thirsty and very intimidating Betas. Around 3-4 of them are semi-Alpha. All I know is those semi-Alphas are quite strong... Which I heard from dad. Obviously. I whistled to signal the others to fight them with me. I shifted and luckily, I turned into my wolf form. I have bitten a few necks and snapped some of them.

We make sure not to kill them but hurt them badly and they won't come back. It started to get dark and I saw the rest has gathered here. I shifted back to normal. Storm smiled and we all huffed from tiredness. I saw Hunter's scar on his face. I asked one of them and they said that he got scratched by one Alpha from acting 'Tough'.

Most of us chuckled while Hunter and two of them didn't and looked disappointed.

"Well, at least they helped us..." Storm stated.

"True... Now, it's dark. We should go back home. What about these girls, Alpha Storm," Lucky added and pointing at Ally, Bethany and lastly, me.

"Hm... Lucky and Lucifer accompany Ally. As for Blake, you can go home with your sister and lastly, I'll walk Jewel home with Hunter."

Everyone agreed and I walked behind Storm and had Hunter by my side. Turns out he was too offered a deal to either join Ally or let his sister knocked out by Ally's new friend. I explained to mine and we smiled. We both know that we have to survive a week and to be honest, not knowing Storm for at least 4 years makes me very cautious about him.

More like... Aware of him.

Just as we turned to a corner, we heard a racing car coming our way. I quickly get some bad instincts through my skin. Hunter saw the car and stood there near the pavement. Storm heard it too and shocked to see Hunter who is quite calm about it. Hunter raised his hand and the car stopped near us.

"Hey, Huntie~ Lookie here~ A pretty little girl with a bad boy on the streets~" A racecar driver spoke in a tone which I hated the most.

The 'Catcalling' Tone.

I crossed my arms and listen to this racecar driver. Hunter hopped in the car and he called me over. He told me that the driver was his cousin and he's quite a playboy. I nodded and he waved us goodbye. I watch as Hunter and his cousin drove away in the distance. What a plot twist... 

"Well, I thought Hunter is a scardey cat. Turns out to be a cousin to a racecar driver... Plot twist there..." Storm stood there, dumbfounded.

"Agree... Now, I'll walk myself home... " I turned and walked my way home.

"J-jewel!" Storm hold my wrist before I even walk.

I turned to him and he has his ears popped out and his tail behind him, wagging.

"Yeah? What is it, Storm?" I asked.

"I... I'm actually gonna have to ask you something which might surprise you..." He let go of my wrist and shoved both of his hands in his pockets.

"Tell me..."

"Will you be my girlfriend for a week in Winter Frost High?" 

I could see him blushing and staring at the pavement. I sighed. I could either deny it or accept it. I know if I decline, I broke his heart. But if I accept it, I will know for sure that Alpha will know and get jealous. Whatever the choice I made I have to accept the consequences...
