Jake and Ruby were actually close siblings than I thought they were. Jake swore to protect her no matter what! As for Ruby, she swore the same thing. I look at Shadow and he nodded. I guess he knows what I had in mind. We all visited their house and it was quite big. It's more or less like a unique modern house. Ruby and Jake shared a room. Their parents have one upstairs. They both sometimes fight. 

That's when Ruby usually asks Shadow for help. When that happens, Jake would stand down and take the blame if he started it. If Ruby did it first, Shadow would scold her. Shadow, in this case, is a middleman.

"Any other stuff to do, Shadow?" Ruby asked.

"Nope. Just the tournament left..." He sighed.

"I see. You're still gonna join that tournament, don't you?" She looks at Shadow, worriedly.

"Actually, no. I'm setting up Jewel, Kuro and Alpha to join the tournament..." He looks at me.

"M-me?!" I pointed to myself.

"Yes, you are joining it with Kuro and Alpha. I can't this year because of an incident last year..." He looks back at Ruby.

"I'm sure you don't want that to happen," Ruby sighed.

"W-what happen? If it's okay to ask..." I look at them both, hoping to know.

"Well, Shadow has cast a spell by someone in the middle of the tournament. Apparently, that spell caused Shadow to be overpowered and caused much damage. Let's say... He almost killed someone," Ruby explained.

"That's why. And that form the spell gave still present in my body. But it only appears when I get very angry. So, I don't get mad easily thanks to Mom," Shadow crossed his arms.

I nodded. I look at Alpha who was talking to Jayden and Jake. They look like they had fun. I could see Jake there, blushing. Alpha too was blushing while Jayden smirked. When they noticed me, they all shyly smile at me.

"What's with that smile?" I asked.

"N-nothing! Just... Happy!" Alpha faked a laugh.

"You're lying! Tell me now!" I stormed to them.

"F-fine... Jayden said that you look..." Suddenly, Alpha went silent.

"I look what?!" I angrily asked.

"Y-you l-look... h-hot..." Jake complete what Alpha's sentence.

I look at them with my face turning red. I glared at Jayden and he softly chuckled. Jake covered his face with his hand while Alpha stare at the floor, shyly. I sighed and I turned to Shadow. I called him over and told him that we have to leave since it's late. Shadow agreed and waved to Ruby and her two troublemakers and left the house.

~+ Jake's POV +~

When Jewel left, I turned to Jayden and punched his face. Ruby looked at me shocked. She told me that one punch is enough. I did stop but I couldn't get that stupid line off my head. Thanks to this flirty butt head! 

"Jake! What was that for?!" Jayden yelled.

"THAT'S FOR SAYING JEWEL WAS HOT!" I blushed red.

Jayden smirked and I knew that I had to punch him. But suddenly, Ruby slapped his face. She looks at Jayden, disgusted and of course, angry. She scolded Jayden for being that flirty. But I know this is wrong. I'm like 2 years younger than Jewel... I kinda have a crush on her now.

"R-ruby... C-can I move to your school tomorrow?!" I cheerfully asked.

"Uh, sure! I'll tell mom about it and we can fix your applications and of course, your new schedule," She looked at me, happily.

"Isn't that mean that I have to stick around with Jake?!" Jayden dramatically sighed.

"Shut Up! At least, I'm not a Cassanova like you! Butthead!" I crossed my arms and turned away.

I ran up to my room and basically, get myself ready for my new school. WOLVES' HOWLING HIGH!
