Around 8 p.m., Someone knocked on the door. I was just about to go upstairs to the guest bedroom. I turned around saw Ein with Ethan who sticks with Emily sitting in the living room. Mrs. June was in the kitchen washing dishes. I guess I'll get the door.

"I'll get it!" 

I ran towards the door and opened it. It reveals a young man with a smile. He looks a bit like Ein and Ethan. I titled my head slightly and curious who this might be.

"Oh, you must be Miss Jewel! I'm Luke June. Ein and Ethan's father. Are they're here?" The young man spoke in a calm way.

I nodded and moved out of the way. I closed the door behind me while Mr. June calls his family. Emily also came to see Mr. June. Hopefully, Ethan won't spoil their relationship. 

"Oh, FATHER!" Ein hugged Mr. June as soon as he sees him.

"You're back?!" Ethan was dumbfounded.

Emily was smiling and Mrs. June left with tears of joy. I could tell that this family almost reminds me of my family. Of course, Appa and Eomma are busy. I never thought they're going somewhere again... Just I was about to walk again, my phone starts to beep.

I took it out and it has around 2 new messages. And... it's from that 'Unknown'...

"Jagiya~! I have a week till I meet you again! -Unknown"

"Saranghae! Bogoshipeo~! -Unknown"

Seriously? Jagiya? How does this person keep calling me that?! Ugh, whatever. I just shoved my phone back in my pocket and look at the 'Junes'. I mean I don't want to interrupt anything... So, instead of going upstairs, I went outside and feel that nice breeze again.

"I guess I can be alone for a while~," I thought to myself.

I look at the sky and saw a lot of shining stars above me. It glows in the dark and it shimmers every time. I sighed and wished someone will come and watch the stars with me. Unexpectedly, someone blocked my view.

"Oh, you must be that little 'Cinnamon' everyone is saying, huh" 

I look in front of me and saw a white werewolf with golden eyes. I flinched and I stood up immediately. I hold my chest to cover myself from being scared.

"Oh, sorry! I saw you being alone. And plus, girls aren't supposed to be alone around this time" That werewolf said with a concerned look.

"I... I was just s-staring at the stars... P-plus, I'm living with my best friend... Temporarily..." I look down and hoped that he'll leave.

"I'm not leaving if you're alone like this..." That werewolf seems to have read my mind."Uh... Do you perhaps go to Wolves' Howling High?" 

I look up at him and he seems a bit calm. I nodded and he smiles.

"My name is Hunter. Yuuta Hunter. One of your Juniors in your school" He held out his hand and I shook it."You know that next week you'll meet your best friend, do you?"

I look at him with a confused look. He chuckled. Maybe that's because the way I reacted? 

"What's so funny about being confused?" I spoke up.

"N-nothing... You look so adorable... I can't" He held his chest where his heart was and pretended that I hurt him.

I gasped as if I too joined in the roleplay. He laughs after I reacted. "Seriously... You look way adorable~ If only your best friend could see you right now, he'll definitely pinch your cheeks," He smiles.

"Huh? Who are you referring to?" I tilted my head slightly with both of my ears flopped down.

"You don't remember? You might be kidding, right?" He gave me a 'Seriously?' look.

I shook my head 'No' and he sighed. "Do you perhaps remember 'Alpha'?"

I gasped and I start to remember something...

*Flashback to 4-Yr old Jewel*

"Jewel~ Wait for me~! I'm too tired!" 

"Awh~ Come on, Alpha! You're so slow!"

Back then, I only have one best friend. That was also before I met Ein in the game... Alpha Lockstone... He's my most precious friend I ever had. We love hanging out with each other. Of course, Alpha's Eomma and my Eomma were very close friends. So, almost every day we would meet each other.

Not until... One day...

"Alpha~! Mommy has something important to tell you!" Alpha's Eomma called.

"Awh~ I guess I have to go, Jewel. I might be back!" Alpha ran towards Mrs. Lockstone and listens to her.

From the look on Alpha from afar, I could tell that he wasn't looking very happy once his mother tells him something... The next day, we meet again by the swing... We were swinging slowly and not too high. That day, Alpha was looking not very happy. I wasn't sure what was bothering him until I budged in to get his attention...

"Alph~! Hey! C'mon! Let's play!" I didn't notice his sadness until I got a closer look at him.

"Hey, Alpha... Are you okay??? You look sad..." 

"I... Mommy told me that my family is going somewhere away from here..." He sadly told me.

My ears and tail dropped down and I didn't understand because I was just a small child. I told Alpha that he could stay with me. He said that he was too going somewhere... He was told that he couldn't come back here until he's old enough. That day I wept tears and couldn't help myself but run away from Alpha. Avoiding that bad moment. Alpha was shocked and didn't know what just happen. Instead, he went home...

*Flashback Ended*

From that day onwards, I must have forgotten him unless I look at his picture on my phone... I look down and unexpectedly, I could feel someone hugging me... Not one but two people hugging me. I shook my head multiple times and didn't care who hugged me... I just want to meet Alpha again... 

Ein's P.O.V *After Jewel went outside*

Finally! Dad came home. Of course, I'm glad to see him. But someone is missing. I look around and Jewel isn't here. 

"Hey... Where's Jewel?" I asked everyone in the house.

"I think she went outside..." Emily answered.

I ran outside as soon as Emily said the word 'Outside'. I opened the door and saw Jewel with another werewolf. They were talking about some wolf called 'Alpha'. I couldn't help but eavesdrop on them. Suddenly, I could hear sobs and I knew that must be Jewel's sobs. That werewolf who was with Jewel looked surprised and instead of standing there... He hugged Jewel and pets her head. I couldn't help but I hugged Jewel from behind and hopefully, she's fine.

Then, all of us pulled away from the hug.

"Jewel? Are you okay?" I held her shoulders.

She looked at me with a tired look. She nodded and wiped her last drop of tear. She turned to the werewolf and hugged him.

"Thank you for reminding me, Yuuta. I couldn't thank you enough! I make sure I meet you again at school!" She sniffled.

The werewolf smiled and released Jewel. "Of course, and I'm Yuuta by the way, Ein June"

My eyes widened as that werewolf said my name. How on earth does he know my name? Instead of asking, I just nodded my head slightly and smiled.

"I got to go now. My parents might think I went missing... See ya both at school!" He waved goodbye and walked away.

Jewel's P.O.V

After watching Yuuta leaving, I ran towards Ein and gave him a smile. "Time for me to go to bed!"

Ein laughs and nods his head. We went inside and looks like everyone has gone to bed. I ran upstairs an into my temporary bedroom. I sighed and put my phone on the bedside table. I flopped myself on the bed and fall asleep eventually.

I wonder if Yuuta is right... Is Alpha coming here next week?
